“I highly recommend Angelina, she took care of my dog for 2 weeks and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my dog was in a safe place since she was always sending me pictures and updates about Harry (my dog). I will definitely keep her in mind for the next time! Thank you guys!!”

“I can't say enough great things about Kiki! She took wonderful care of our pup and kept us up to date with pictures and videos showing what a great time he had. Most importantly, he looked comfortable and relaxed when we picked him up. It is obvious that Kiki is a true dog-lover and has experience with many different types of dogs. She took time to learn what our dog likes and made sure to make sure he was safe and secure. We have already booked our next stay!”

“Jasmine was wonderful! She kept both of my dogs over a long weekend and they had so much fun. She sent daily pictures and videos and she was always in contact with me. I will definitely use her again.”

“This is our third time going with Jasmine as our sitter and we couldn’t be happier. She updates us daily with awesome pictures of both our dogs. She also lets us know how they did and if there is anything she is concerned about them or their health. She is our go to whenever we need our pups well taken care of.”

“Had such a great experience! She made me feel comfortable by arranging a meeting with my dog beforehand and answered all of my questions. Also sent a lot of pictures and updates which was helpful as it was out first time using the app. Very friendly, knowledge and went above and beyond. Will use again!”

“The A in Aviah means Amazing. She was truly exceptional. Talk about a rover sitter who communicates and not only with words, but pictures and videos too. To be honest we were skeptical, a little worried at first but after drop off our concerns dissipated quickly as she provided so many updates, was warm, very professional and seem to truly love dogs. Our dogs were happy to see us at pick up but we also knew they had a wonderful time with her and we will definitely use her as our preferred sitter in the future. She Definitely comes HIGHLY recommended.”

“When I decided to board Loki I was hesitant at first because he's a 125 lb. house dog. I wasn't sure how that would work out with a stranger and her family. However, I think Shantia did a fantastic job making both me and Loki feel comfortable. I would definitely request to board with her again when the need arises.”

“Priscilla was a very attentive and nurturing sitter. As a new dog mom, I was nervous to have my very anxious pup stay with a sitter, however, Priscilla is very clear and precise with how she cares for each pup, provides numerous check-ins with photos and gives the pups so much love and attention. I would highly recommend her and will be booking in the future!”

“Jessica was wonderful with our cat! Our little old lady kitty is 18 years old and requires some special daily attention to make sure she’s happy and healthy, and Jessica was able to not only keep up with her special needs but also make sure she was comfortable and happy in a new environment. She also sent daily updates with pictures! She made me feel completely comfortable while being away from our girl, and took a huge worry off our plate while we were traveling. Because of all of this, Jessica is our go-to sitter for our old lady kitty. I highly recommend this sitter!”

“Jacquline was very efficient with feedback and she sent pictures of bailey enjoying her time with Jacquline family. Jacquline is kind and loves animals. She and her daughter was the perfect match for bailey while I was on vacation. I would definitely work with Jacquline again.🥰🥰”

“Christina was so great with my girls. I recieved updates and pics they seemed very comfortable, even my rescue dog Lizzie. Would definitely recommend and will use again if she will have us.”

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I begged my mom to get me a dog around that time as well. I promised her I would take care of the dog and do all I needed to do. With that being said I became a pet owner and trained my dog all by myself . From the simple commands, and crate training. I love to treat my current dog(Chloe) like a baby. From cuddles, long walks, nice tasty treats and all the love I can possibly give her. Sometimes I do travel and when I do its hard to find someone to keep Chloe. I realized I can’t be the only one who has experienced this . I am new to the app. I am ready to spread the love in my area. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Can’t wait to meet you ! I do work full tine Monday-Friday. I have a Hybrid schedule. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays . I am open on weekends ! I have a spacious apartment. We also have dog parks in my complex. Lastly my favorite a few different trails/ lakes that I love to walk currently.
“Derek was very patient with Kit and made sure to take time with her. He also sent pictures of her to show that she was getting comfortable. I appreciate his promptness in getting back to me as well. He is very responsive and answers all questions.”

“The test was passed. Jax lets us know if he wants to be somewhere. When we pulled up to Shulys again, he was so excited to go play! One short weekend and one long weekend in the books! So glad to have Shuly to take care of Jax while we are away!”

I am available to feed, walk, clean up after your pet(s), and provide them with play time! I can also give baths and light grooming and of course lots of pictures while you are gone. Also, I do NOT have any breed restrictions, I don't discriminate against any pup, they are all welcomed!! Please don't hesitate to message me with any further questions or concerns!!
“This was our 1st time using Morgan, as our previous sitter had moved out of the area. We were very pleased with her care of our Baby, Bella. She provided daily updates with photos. We WILL use her services again.”

Cristhian really helped me out in a bind when my regular sitter was unavailable. With very short notice, Cristhian happily boarded my golden retriever Gibson without any hesitation. Everything was seamless and I would highly recommend Cristhian‘a services to anyone. Thanks again! Gibson and I appreciate it!

I had an amazing experience with my dog sitter! They took such great care of my pup and kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well‑loved. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust someone who treats my dog like family. Highly recommend!

Ava responded quickly to a last-minute request to watch Storm and immediately put our minds at ease. She kept us updated throughout his stay with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. Storm was well cared for, and we would book with her again. Highly recommend!

Heather and her kids are great with our dog. This is our second booking with Heather and we really recommend her. Heather communicates fast, and pays attention to details. Our dog got sick while in her house and she kept us informed all the time while also talking to Rover's Vet. We are thankful for her care and love for Nina.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
