About: I grew up on a farm raising chickens, ducks, goats, dogs and cats for a decade. I went to school to get certified in Veterinarian Assisting. My favorite thing I learned during my internship was how to swaddle an angry cat in a cozy blanket so you don't get scratched. I am the cat whisperer, I never run up to cats, I always allow them to sniff my hand to become familiar with my scent, and with particular cats that like to hide away I love leaving little gifts for them (cat treats) so they can become comfortable being around me. Particular for dogs, I am very active and am a runner, so i would be more than happy to give doggies exercise, especially on the beautiful hikes I go to. I home school my son, so my life is pretty much flexible, I am up for anything for any day possible. Anyone in the Odenton and Gambrills area I am available anytime. I don't have anything that's breakable in my home, there's no wires hanging out. I am the second floor with a balcony if you have an animal that likes an open view.
“Fennel is an outstanding sitter! They always keep me informed about the status of my pet and provide feedback and photos even when it is just for a short walk. They were also extremely helpful and reliable when I booked them for an all day stay. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you Jasmine for coming through in the clutch to be able to watch the chocolate boyz. They really enjoyed you from beginning to end. Look forward to future bookings once the holidays are completed.”

About: I’m a proud dog parent to Moonie, my very smart 3 year old Maltipoo, and I also live with a 4 year old Pomeranian — so yes, my house is basically dog approved. I love walks, dog parks, treats, and teaching Moonie new tricks. I’ll treat your pup like family, with lots of love, patience, and probably a few compliments ❤️🥰💕 I work in the office some days, but I’m mostly remote and home with the pups. There’s always time for potty breaks, playtime, little backyard zoomies, and cuddle breaks.. so basically, the dogs have a better schedule than we do 😂 I live in a townhouse with a small backyard — perfect for quick potty breaks or a little zoomies session. My neighborhood is safe and great for walks. I always clean paws after potty breaks, keep fresh pee pads available and changed daily, and yes… dogs are allowed on the furniture.
About: Hi everyone! I am Angela and military spouse and a mom of 4 children. I am a stay at home mom who loves to run and be outside. I have had dogs my whole life and will treat your pup like one of my babies. I pay attention to the little things to make sure your pup is well cared for and spoiled while you are out of town. I am home for a majority of the day and live next to walking trails and have plenty of grass to play with your pup. I do have a small fenced in yard for potty breaks. I will keep your pup on schedule and stick to their normal exercise, potty and eating habits. I have one chocolate lab who does great with other dogs. He is very well trained and enjoys the company of friends! I only sit for one family at a time to ensure plenty of attention to your pup and keep them safe. Send me a message if you have any questions on what to expect while your pup is under my care. I am home majority of the day and will provide plenty of play time, walks and potty breaks. If I am out of the house my dog will be in a kennel and I can accommodate for a crated pup or free roaming in the main level of my home. Wake up time is between 5:30/6 for potty breaks/walk. I can accommodate most feeding schedules. Your pup would be inside with us be treated as part of the family.
“Savannah is great! She asked good questions at our meet-and-greet, and took great care of our old girl - she was especially mindful of the summer heat. Very professional service.”

Tiffany was great during her walks with Gibson last week, as always! She always gives us a great little summary of the walk and lets us know how he’s doing/tolerating the heat. We really appreciate her attentiveness to his needs and are always thankful for her availability to walk him!

Madison is truly one of the best sitters you could ask for. She is incredibly responsive, communicative, and flexible when it comes to scheduling and last-minute changes, which made the entire experience stress-free. She took excellent care of my dog, ensuring walks were consistent and tailored to my dog’s needs, and always kept me updated with timely messages. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my dog was in such capable and attentive hands. I highly recommend booking Madison—you’ll be glad you did!

Morgan was wonderful with my grand-dog, Demi. She was punctual, dependable, and so friendly. She promptly shared photos and updates which I greatly appreciated. Demi felt the love right away and enjoyed her walks with Morgan. Morgan’s love for dogs was obvious and I highly recommend Morgan for your dog’s care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
