Growing up, I had all kinds—from dachshunds and pit bulls to Australian Shepherds and lovable mutts—and I’ve fallen in love with each and every one. About: Richard has had many dogs his whole life and loves for them to be happy. Richard has always done well with animals and wants to provide comfort in a new environment. Richard also has prior experience helping other Rover providers from living with roomates so he is used to taking care of dogs of all types and sizes. Anny has started taking of our toy poodle Katsumi since March 2024 and grew up with a family cat. She has experience taking care of a variety of different pets since starting Rover. Anny is a very loving person and loves to play and take care of dogs. Anny is a stay at home wife who wants to spend her free time at home. She is always concerned to make sure everyone has enough water and is taken care of. We typically wake up early in the morning everyday and will feed the pets and let them go potty first thing. Richard goes to work early in the morning while Anny stays home to take care of the pets. Richard is usually back early in the afternoon and we will both be home to take care of the pets together as a team. We prefer pickup and drop off times to be in the afternoon after 3:30 pm if possible. We have a first floor space where the guest pets stay. There is also a play pen area full of blankets for dogs to lounge and play in if desired. The play pen and blankets are washed between each guest we receive. We try to make the play pen as fun as possible so feel free to bring toys. We can provide dog training pads as well. We are careful to make sure the dog will not run away outside and that the cat stays inside. We can accept or provide pet furniture such as dog beds, toys, bowls, food. Bringing your own food and treats is highly encouraged to maintain the same healthy diet. We want to make friends with your pets. Anything you need and we will do our best to help. We have a toy poodle that spends most of her time upstairs or in the kitchen. She is up-to-date with all vaccines. Because she is very small, she doesn't usually interact with the guest dogs unless we ensure they are compatable. If they are compatable, we are happy to let them play together while supervised.
About: I have a lifelong love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them in every stage of life. I started dog sitting as a teenager, later working as a veterinary technician throughout college, and I have also spent time working at a boarding facility and volunteering with rescues. I would do the same if I am letting your fur baby out at your house as well. At your house, if you crate train your dogs, I will follow those specific instructions and put them back in the crate when I leave. For walks at my house, there's a bike trail near my house that I'd take dogs who need long walks. For short walks, my neighborhood has an area for dogs that I'd take them.

I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

About: I grew up on a farm raising chickens, ducks, goats, dogs and cats for a decade. I went to school to get certified in Veterinarian Assisting. My favorite thing I learned during my internship was how to swaddle an angry cat in a cozy blanket so you don't get scratched. I am the cat whisperer, I never run up to cats, I always allow them to sniff my hand to become familiar with my scent, and with particular cats that like to hide away I love leaving little gifts for them (cat treats) so they can become comfortable being around me. Particular for dogs, I am very active and am a runner, so i would be more than happy to give doggies exercise, especially on the beautiful hikes I go to. I home school my son, so my life is pretty much flexible, I am up for anything for any day possible. Anyone in the Odenton and Gambrills area I am available anytime. I don't have anything that's breakable in my home, there's no wires hanging out. I am the second floor with a balcony if you have an animal that likes an open view.

“Sabine was amazing! It was the first time I used her and would highly recommend her. She took care of my senior dog that’s 14 years old. On the day I was leaving for vacation, I discovered my little pup was getting some swelling below his eye which was growing in size noticeably before leaving. I made an emergency apt for him to be seen at the vet and Sabine was so flexible to take him to and from the vet apt. He went home on medications which she was administered. After a few days he had to go back for a tooth extraction. Unfortunately, my trip was extended and I was really worried how this would all work with not being home while my dog undergoes surgery. Sabine made herself available to take him for his second trip to the vet for his surgery. She managed his medications, gave me thorough updates and really was compassionate for my little pup to help him on his way to recovery. I can’t express how grateful I was to have found her. I was at ease knowing she was there with my little guy while I was away.”

My residence features a fenced yard, providing a secure environment for my five pets. I diligently supervise them, limiting their time alone to brief intervals. We participate in regular walks, adjusted according to weather conditions. I prioritize their comfort, avoiding walks in extreme temperatures and taking measures to protect them from the elements.

I really enjoy playing with my dogs at home as well, weather thats running around out back, playing tug-of-war, or even just going on a walk! Overall my favorite time of day with my dogs at home is bed time, my puppies sleep with me every night!
