“Ahhhmazing!!! Michelle will absolutely be our go to dog sitter! Oliver is still a puppy so he is high energy and still working on his potty training. This was our first time using rover and his first time away from us. Michelle took care of him above and beyond our expectations! She sent us model pictures of him daily (much better than he lets us take of him, so we have new profile pics of him, lol!) She provided daily updates with the pics too, all of which gave us complete peace of mind! We couldn’t have had a better experience and that made our vacation that much more relaxing. We are extremely thankful to Michelle for treating Oliver like her own! 😊”

She was very reassuring, and understood our anxiety about leaving our pets. Two of our cats need medication - Sabine did a great job, even with an aggressive cat, and loved her none the less. “Although I ended up having to cancel my trip so Ashley/Olivia didn’t end up doing the drop in visits, Olivia was great at the drop-in visit I scheduled before our trip! My chinchillas took to her immediately. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. I would feel at ease with her taking care of my pets the next time I need care for them!”

About: I’m a proud dog parent to Moonie, my very smart 3 year old Maltipoo, and I also live with a 4 year old Pomeranian — so yes, my house is basically dog approved. I love walks, dog parks, treats, and teaching Moonie new tricks. There’s always time for potty breaks, playtime, little backyard zoomies, and cuddle breaks.. so basically, the dogs have a better schedule than we do 😂 I live in a townhouse with a small backyard — perfect for quick potty breaks or a little zoomies session. My neighborhood is safe and great for walks. I always clean paws after potty breaks, keep fresh pee pads available and changed daily, and yes… dogs are allowed on the furniture.
About: Richard has had many dogs his whole life and loves for them to be happy. Richard has always done well with animals and wants to provide comfort in a new environment. Richard also has prior experience helping other Rover providers from living with roomates so he is used to taking care of dogs of all types and sizes. Anny has started taking of our toy poodle Katsumi since March 2024 and grew up with a family cat. She has experience taking care of a variety of different pets since starting Rover. Anny is a very loving person and loves to play and take care of dogs. Anny is a stay at home wife who wants to spend her free time at home. She is always concerned to make sure everyone has enough water and is taken care of. We typically wake up early in the morning everyday and will feed the pets and let them go potty first thing. Richard goes to work early in the morning while Anny stays home to take care of the pets. Richard is usually back early in the afternoon and we will both be home to take care of the pets together as a team. We prefer pickup and drop off times to be in the afternoon after 3:30 pm if possible. We have a first floor space where the guest pets stay. There is also a play pen area full of blankets for dogs to lounge and play in if desired. The play pen and blankets are washed between each guest we receive. We try to make the play pen as fun as possible so feel free to bring toys. We can provide dog training pads as well. We are careful to make sure the dog will not run away outside and that the cat stays inside. We can accept or provide pet furniture such as dog beds, toys, bowls, food. Bringing your own food and treats is highly encouraged to maintain the same healthy diet. We want to make friends with your pets. Anything you need and we will do our best to help. We have a toy poodle that spends most of her time upstairs or in the kitchen. She is up-to-date with all vaccines. Because she is very small, she doesn't usually interact with the guest dogs unless we ensure they are compatable. If they are compatable, we are happy to let them play together while supervised.

Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

“Sabine was amazing! It was the first time I used her and would highly recommend her. She took care of my senior dog that’s 14 years old. On the day I was leaving for vacation, I discovered my little pup was getting some swelling below his eye which was growing in size noticeably before leaving. I made an emergency apt for him to be seen at the vet and Sabine was so flexible to take him to and from the vet apt. He went home on medications which she was administered. After a few days he had to go back for a tooth extraction. Unfortunately, my trip was extended and I was really worried how this would all work with not being home while my dog undergoes surgery. About: I’ve had the most scared dogs trust me to take care of them as they’ve warmed up to me. I love all dogs so much! I’m currently unemployed , so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of your pet. I can walk them up until 5 pm. I have great boundaries with animals and am very patient too. I’ll keep them on a leash if we go out and watch them in the yard.
About: I grew up on a farm raising chickens, ducks, goats, dogs and cats for a decade. I went to school to get certified in Veterinarian Assisting. My favorite thing I learned during my internship was how to swaddle an angry cat in a cozy blanket so you don't get scratched. I am the cat whisperer, I never run up to cats, I always allow them to sniff my hand to become familiar with my scent, and with particular cats that like to hide away I love leaving little gifts for them (cat treats) so they can become comfortable being around me. Particular for dogs, I am very active and am a runner, so i would be more than happy to give doggies exercise, especially on the beautiful hikes I go to. I home school my son, so my life is pretty much flexible, I am up for anything for any day possible. Anyone in the Odenton and Gambrills area I am available anytime. I don't have anything that's breakable in my home, there's no wires hanging out. I am the second floor with a balcony if you have an animal that likes an open view.

“Ahhhmazing!!! Michelle will absolutely be our go to dog sitter! Oliver is still a puppy so he is high energy and still working on his potty training. This was our first time using rover and his first time away from us. Michelle took care of him above and beyond our expectations! She sent us model pictures of him daily (much better than he lets us take of him, so we have new profile pics of him, lol!) She provided daily updates with the pics too, all of which gave us complete peace of mind! We couldn’t have had a better experience and that made our vacation that much more relaxing. We are extremely thankful to Michelle for treating Oliver like her own! 😊”

“Shantia was great! She let me come by for a meet and greet before I boarded my dog. She was also so incredibly patient and kind when I ended up being late to drop off due to a car issue. Her husband had to take Calamity for her due to how late I was, and he was kind enough to ask if Cal had eaten already (she had not!) and made sure she got her food. Communication on my end was sparse due to how busy things were, but Shantia responded immediately when I did message.”
