About: I’m a proud dog parent to Moonie, my very smart 3 year old Maltipoo, and I also live with a 4 year old Pomeranian — so yes, my house is basically dog approved. I love walks, dog parks, treats, and teaching Moonie new tricks. I’ll treat your pup like family, with lots of love, patience, and probably a few compliments ❤️🥰💕 I work in the office some days, but I’m mostly remote and home with the pups. There’s always time for potty breaks, playtime, little backyard zoomies, and cuddle breaks.. so basically, the dogs have a better schedule than we do 😂 I live in a townhouse with a small backyard — perfect for quick potty breaks or a little zoomies session. My neighborhood is safe and great for walks. I always clean paws after potty breaks, keep fresh pee pads available and changed daily, and yes… dogs are allowed on the furniture.

I’m a swim trainer at the Canine Fitness Center in Crownsville, where I have the opportunity to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. “Although I ended up having to cancel my trip so Ashley/Olivia didn’t end up doing the drop in visits, Olivia was great at the drop-in visit I scheduled before our trip! My chinchillas took to her immediately. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. I would feel at ease with her taking care of my pets the next time I need care for them!”

About: Richard has had many dogs his whole life and loves for them to be happy. Richard has always done well with animals and wants to provide comfort in a new environment. Richard also has prior experience helping other Rover providers from living with roomates so he is used to taking care of dogs of all types and sizes. Anny has started taking of our toy poodle Katsumi since March 2024 and grew up with a family cat. She has experience taking care of a variety of different pets since starting Rover. Anny is a very loving person and loves to play and take care of dogs. Anny is a stay at home wife who wants to spend her free time at home. She is always concerned to make sure everyone has enough water and is taken care of. We typically wake up early in the morning everyday and will feed the pets and let them go potty first thing. Richard goes to work early in the morning while Anny stays home to take care of the pets. Richard is usually back early in the afternoon and we will both be home to take care of the pets together as a team. We prefer pickup and drop off times to be in the afternoon after 3:30 pm if possible. We have a first floor space where the guest pets stay. There is also a play pen area full of blankets for dogs to lounge and play in if desired. The play pen and blankets are washed between each guest we receive. We try to make the play pen as fun as possible so feel free to bring toys. We can provide dog training pads as well. We are careful to make sure the dog will not run away outside and that the cat stays inside. We can accept or provide pet furniture such as dog beds, toys, bowls, food. Bringing your own food and treats is highly encouraged to maintain the same healthy diet. We want to make friends with your pets. Anything you need and we will do our best to help. We have a toy poodle that spends most of her time upstairs or in the kitchen. She is up-to-date with all vaccines. Because she is very small, she doesn't usually interact with the guest dogs unless we ensure they are compatable. If they are compatable, we are happy to let them play together while supervised.

About: I’ve owned dogs of all sizes and cats my entire life! I grew up in a big animal lover home so in the last I’ve fostered, love volunteering at shelters and pet sitting! I have decades of experience with animals - dogs, cats and reptiles! I’m comfortable with pets with medical needs or providing a separate space for anxious pets! My cat and dog are both good with other dogs and cats so they will love the company but if your pet needs the space, my boys are happy to stay upstairs in the large ensuite! I currently work from home full time so expect lots of cuddles, walks, play time and tons of pictures of your little one! I’m currently working at home full time with a flexible schedule so I’m able to fit in feeding several walks throughout the day, play time and plenty of cuddles! I have a shaded fenced yard and an entire home for your furbaby to explore! I have a very friendly dog and cat (both small) that love new friends and will keep your furbaby company with playtime! If your pet likes their space, my pets don’t mind staying upstairs on the 3rd floor ensuite which is the same size as downstairs! We will fit in several walks in a day in my very quiet and green neighborhood!

I have an open availability all throughout the week and even on weekends! I would love to give your fur baby the attention and love they need/want while you're away or simply at work. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

About: I’ve had the most scared dogs trust me to take care of them as they’ve warmed up to me. I love all dogs so much! I’m currently unemployed , so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of your pet. I can walk them up until 5 pm. I have great boundaries with animals and am very patient too. I’ll keep them on a leash if we go out and watch them in the yard.

About: I grew up on a farm raising chickens, ducks, goats, dogs and cats for a decade. I went to school to get certified in Veterinarian Assisting. My favorite thing I learned during my internship was how to swaddle an angry cat in a cozy blanket so you don't get scratched. I am the cat whisperer, I never run up to cats, I always allow them to sniff my hand to become familiar with my scent, and with particular cats that like to hide away I love leaving little gifts for them (cat treats) so they can become comfortable being around me. Particular for dogs, I am very active and am a runner, so i would be more than happy to give doggies exercise, especially on the beautiful hikes I go to. I home school my son, so my life is pretty much flexible, I am up for anything for any day possible. Anyone in the Odenton and Gambrills area I am available anytime. I don't have anything that's breakable in my home, there's no wires hanging out. I am the second floor with a balcony if you have an animal that likes an open view.

“Kiki is an absolutely amazing dog sitter! She always keeps me updated with plenty of pictures and videos, which gives me so much peace of mind while Kylo is with her. She’s incredibly understanding and flexible—especially on the days when I’m running behind schedule—and her kindness and loving energy truly shines through in everything she does, especially with fur babies. I love that she provides regular feedback on Kylo and truly pays attention to his needs. She even takes him on walks with her pup, Skittles, which he absolutely enjoys! Her home has a dedicated doggie room, and the pups get both indoor and outdoor access, giving them a comfortable and fun environment. I can’t recommend Kiki enough. She’s truly the best! ✨”

And both Horatio and Emma loved having their "TV" (watching the chickens and ducks!). They came home happy and even better groomed than when I dropped them off.
