My chinchillas took to her immediately. About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, from little chihuahuas to big dobermans, and from your grumpiest cats to your sweetest ones. My mother loves to tell people I talked to animals before I talked to people. I am able to read and adapt well to your pets needs, providing the proper love and care to satisfy both you and your furbaby! I am a full-time high school student, and will be able to drop by after 3 pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I also do have a part-time job for a couple days out of the week but I make sure I'm able to stop by in between school and work to let them out and feed them! I am very good at reading animals, and will give them as much love or space as they want me to! I am very flexible and will provide whatever care you need me to while abiding by the boundaries you and your pet set for me.

About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and many other animals. I am also great with plants. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pit mix and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. I keep a well stocked pet cabinet and bring supplies with me for sits, drop-ins, and walks. Anxiety, tummy issues, allergies, discomfort, first aid, grooming, enrichment- you name it, I'm prepared. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

About: I have a lifelong love for dogs and years of hands-on experience caring for them in every stage of life. I started dog sitting as a teenager, later working as a veterinary technician throughout college, and I have also spent time working at a boarding facility and volunteering with rescues. I’ve cared for senior and special-needs dogs—both professionally and personally, and understand how to keep them comfortable, happy, and safe. I’ve owned five dogs (simultaneously) who each lived long, full lives, so I know just how much they mean to their families. Having cared for 5 dogs all at once, I know how to care for multiple dogs at the same time if you have more than one fur baby. I’m also completing my certification for Professional Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers to continue building my skills. Every dog in my care will be treated like my own. I will care for them with same love and attention they’d receive at home. I used to cook breakfast and dinner for my dogs, so if you have a special diet and don't have the time to cook for them, I am also available for that. I work remotely from home Monday through Friday and am home on the weekends. I am available Monday through Sunday for all dog/pet needs. If you'd like an environment where they get to socialize with other dogs, I can arrange play dates or take them to the dog park. As far as going outside, I have a fenced in backyard and I will remain outside while your dog is in the yard. This is something I always did for my dog, and I'd want someone to do the same for me. I would do the same if I am letting your fur baby out at your house as well. At your house, if you crate train your dogs, I will follow those specific instructions and put them back in the crate when I leave. For walks at my house, there's a bike trail near my house that I'd take dogs who need long walks. For short walks, my neighborhood has an area for dogs that I'd take them.

About: Richard has had many dogs his whole life and loves for them to be happy. Richard has always done well with animals and wants to provide comfort in a new environment. Richard also has prior experience helping other Rover providers from living with roomates so he is used to taking care of dogs of all types and sizes. Anny has started taking of our toy poodle Katsumi since March 2024 and grew up with a family cat. She has experience taking care of a variety of different pets since starting Rover. Anny is a very loving person and loves to play and take care of dogs. Anny is a stay at home wife who wants to spend her free time at home. She is always concerned to make sure everyone has enough water and is taken care of. We typically wake up early in the morning everyday and will feed the pets and let them go potty first thing. Richard goes to work early in the morning while Anny stays home to take care of the pets. Richard is usually back early in the afternoon and we will both be home to take care of the pets together as a team. We prefer pickup and drop off times to be in the afternoon after 3:30 pm if possible. We have a first floor space where the guest pets stay. There is also a play pen area full of blankets for dogs to lounge and play in if desired. The play pen and blankets are washed between each guest we receive. We try to make the play pen as fun as possible so feel free to bring toys. We can provide dog training pads as well. We are careful to make sure the dog will not run away outside and that the cat stays inside. We can accept or provide pet furniture such as dog beds, toys, bowls, food. Bringing your own food and treats is highly encouraged to maintain the same healthy diet. We want to make friends with your pets. Anything you need and we will do our best to help. We have a toy poodle that spends most of her time upstairs or in the kitchen. She is up-to-date with all vaccines. Because she is very small, she doesn't usually interact with the guest dogs unless we ensure they are compatable. If they are compatable, we are happy to let them play together while supervised.

Your pet will be in good hands 🐾 And if your furry friend needs some special care, you can trust I will meet those needs! I am available every day from 9am-6pm I am currently an online student in college, so I have quite a bit of free time to spend time with pets. I am available almost every day! I also volunteer at an animal shelter, but my hours are flexible. I do take same-day bookings, but there is a possibility that I am busy at the time you want. But if you are able to adjust your time, I will be able to help care for your furry friend! As a dog walker, I am keen on using harnesses and regular leashes, no retracted ones. This ensures a lot more safety for the dog on walks! I also am very aware of the environment around me, even in new areas. I will watch for any potential danger, and of course anything your dog could eat or accidentally step on. For pet sitting visits, I will ensure the safety of your home and pet during my visit. I will make sure all of the doors are locked on the way out, supervised-only toys are out of reach, and prevent any escapees from reaching the outdoors. I will also make sure your furry friend has enough water and food if requested. Within any emergency, you will be the first call, followed by Rover emergency support, and then your emergency contact if necessary. I will do everything to make sure your furry friend is safe, but if something happens, your pet is in good hands. I'm aware of the closest vets around this area and the emergency vet in Annapolis.

This is my passion, your buddies have my undivided attention I have two fenced areas available for running and play, as well as our location provides to dog parks within close range. A Normal day we attend the dog park twice, morning and night, followed by a mid-day walk and lots of lazy couch snuggles. Our home is a place to come sit stay and play for a while🐾♥️ 🧐should you stay a while? We do have two kennels for sleep if your buddies are down with sharing . “Fantastic - Amazing - Wonderful! Yukia was a great communicator from the start. We talked before we brought our rascal over. We even did a meet and greet just to make sure he would take to her - and he sure did! During our trip she sent daily photos and updates, and our kids could not wait to get them every day. I could tell when I went to pick him up that he was very happy to be with her. For a quick moment he could not decide if he wanted to stay with her or come back home. It was his first time with someone else and she obviously took great care of him. There is no doubt that we have found our pet sitter for good!”
