“This was our first time boarding Black with a sitter, and Crystal provided a great experience for Black and for us. When we dropped him off, he didn’t even look back as she ushered him inside which told us he was comfortable with Crystal from the very beginning. When we picked Black up, he was excited to see us AND sad for his weekend with Crystal to come to an end. Black had a couple of behavioral issues during his stay and Crystal was very attentive taking great care of his needs and keeping us updated with great photos and detailed reports. “Although I ended up having to cancel my trip so Ashley/Olivia didn’t end up doing the drop in visits, Olivia was great at the drop-in visit I scheduled before our trip! My chinchillas took to her immediately. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and many other animals. I am also great with plants. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pit mix and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. I keep a well stocked pet cabinet and bring supplies with me for sits, drop-ins, and walks. Anxiety, tummy issues, allergies, discomfort, first aid, grooming, enrichment- you name it, I'm prepared. I've handled several medical emergencies. I take the responsibility seriously. You can trust your family member will be properly cared for in any situation. Any concerns or changes in routine will be addressed with you immediately. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am up and available at most hours, early morning and late at night included. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!
About: Richard has had many dogs his whole life and loves for them to be happy. Richard has always done well with animals and wants to provide comfort in a new environment. Richard also has prior experience helping other Rover providers from living with roomates so he is used to taking care of dogs of all types and sizes. Anny has started taking of our toy poodle Katsumi since March 2024 and grew up with a family cat. She has experience taking care of a variety of different pets since starting Rover. Anny is a very loving person and loves to play and take care of dogs. Anny is a stay at home wife who wants to spend her free time at home. She is always concerned to make sure everyone has enough water and is taken care of. We typically wake up early in the morning everyday and will feed the pets and let them go potty first thing. Richard goes to work early in the morning while Anny stays home to take care of the pets. Richard is usually back early in the afternoon and we will both be home to take care of the pets together as a team. We prefer pickup and drop off times to be in the afternoon after 3:30 pm if possible. We have a first floor space where the guest pets stay. There is also a play pen area full of blankets for dogs to lounge and play in if desired. The play pen and blankets are washed between each guest we receive. We try to make the play pen as fun as possible so feel free to bring toys. We can provide dog training pads as well. We are careful to make sure the dog will not run away outside and that the cat stays inside. We can accept or provide pet furniture such as dog beds, toys, bowls, food. Bringing your own food and treats is highly encouraged to maintain the same healthy diet. We want to make friends with your pets. Anything you need and we will do our best to help. We have a toy poodle that spends most of her time upstairs or in the kitchen. She is up-to-date with all vaccines. Because she is very small, she doesn't usually interact with the guest dogs unless we ensure they are compatable. If they are compatable, we are happy to let them play together while supervised.
About: I’ve owned dogs of all sizes and cats my entire life! I grew up in a big animal lover home so in the last I’ve fostered, love volunteering at shelters and pet sitting! I have decades of experience with animals - dogs, cats and reptiles! I’m comfortable with pets with medical needs or providing a separate space for anxious pets! My cat and dog are both good with other dogs and cats so they will love the company but if your pet needs the space, my boys are happy to stay upstairs in the large ensuite! I currently work from home full time so expect lots of cuddles, walks, play time and tons of pictures of your little one! I’m currently working at home full time with a flexible schedule so I’m able to fit in feeding several walks throughout the day, play time and plenty of cuddles! I have a shaded fenced yard and an entire home for your furbaby to explore! I have a very friendly dog and cat (both small) that love new friends and will keep your furbaby company with playtime! If your pet likes their space, my pets don’t mind staying upstairs on the 3rd floor ensuite which is the same size as downstairs! We will fit in several walks in a day in my very quiet and green neighborhood!

About: I’m a proud dog parent to Moonie, my very smart 3 year old Maltipoo, and I also live with a 4 year old Pomeranian — so yes, my house is basically dog approved. I love walks, dog parks, treats, and teaching Moonie new tricks. I’ll treat your pup like family, with lots of love, patience, and probably a few compliments ❤️🥰💕 I work in the office some days, but I’m mostly remote and home with the pups. There’s always time for potty breaks, playtime, little backyard zoomies, and cuddle breaks.. so basically, the dogs have a better schedule than we do 😂 I live in a townhouse with a small backyard — perfect for quick potty breaks or a little zoomies session. My neighborhood is safe and great for walks. I always clean paws after potty breaks, keep fresh pee pads available and changed daily, and yes… dogs are allowed on the furniture.

Animals are my passion and I am even in school right now for animal based fields Currently job searching so I have all the time in the world to care for both my shih tzu and any other animals that may be included in my house at any given time. I will be able to easily walk and play with dogs of all sizes and ages I do have an apartment, however there is tons of safe and surveilled space to walk dogs and they will easily be able to go on mile+ walks if need be. My dog is another member of the family and I do mean that literally. She is treated as such and even eats at the same time as us (when she feels like it) and your dog will be treated no different than her as all pets deserve the best.

About: I have had dogs in my home since I was born. Always around dogs and love taking care of them. Family,co-workers and neighbors have always asked me to watch and walk there dogs for long periods of time I am currently taking some time off and home around the clock. About: I have been caring for my own pets for 10+ years and could like to get into formal care. I have also pet sat for my friends and family in the past. About: I have taken care of puppies from day 1, I have help trained all my parents dogs, they have 3 golden retrievers at the moment. I have always been the person my parents friends want to come watch there animals. I am going to school at Anne Arundel Community College, and have a lot of free time during the day and night. Almost anytime you need me I can be there with your baby. I can take the dog on long walks or through a ball all day if the dog wants too. I am very patient with all dogs and cats.

“Ahhhmazing!!! Michelle will absolutely be our go to dog sitter! Oliver is still a puppy so he is high energy and still working on his potty training. This was our first time using rover and his first time away from us. Michelle took care of him above and beyond our expectations! She sent us model pictures of him daily (much better than he lets us take of him, so we have new profile pics of him, lol!) She provided daily updates with the pics too, all of which gave us complete peace of mind! We couldn’t have had a better experience and that made our vacation that much more relaxing. We are extremely thankful to Michelle for treating Oliver like her own! 😊”
“Mady was great, very nice and you can tell she has a genuine love of dogs. Mady has a pair of friendly dogs that played well with mine. She sent pictures daily and kept us updated on how our dog was doing. Highly recommend and will use her services again in the future.”

“Jasmine was very accommodating so that we could meet before the booking, even though it was a bit of a last-minute for a holiday weekend. Cucumber immediately became comfortable with Jasmine and her home. Jasmine send us a bunch of pics of our baby and made us feel very comfortable leaving Cucumber for longer than she's ever been away before. I absolutely would recommend Jasmine!”

“Fidel was great with my Ares, given he has a dog of his own and how he introduced them to one another told me that he knows how to care for dogs and get them familiar with one another. That gave me confidence in leaving my puppy in his care. My Ares had a grand time there! Look forward to the next I need a doggy sitter!”

“So this is the first time I used Rover and I couldn’t be more happy Erica and Franklin were the best! They made me feel very comfortable by having a visit before my vacation so that I was able to meet them and see their home and that helped to know it was a perfect fit. They were in constant communication answering text anytime and sending pictures that will of the good times they were having with my pit. I give them credit because some people here that I have a pitbull and get totally turned off and feel some kind of way, but they were completely open to him and invited him in like one of the family. If I could recommend anyone it would definitely be Erica and Franklin . Taking comfort in them having my dog, which is essentially like my child enabled me to enjoy my vacation and I can’t thank them enough. I fully recommend them 100%.”
“I couldn’t have asked for better care for our dog, Frankie, while we were away! He was loved on, spoiled and well cared for and I know he enjoyed his stay during HIS little vacation! Theresa was amazing at communicating and sending photos all weekend which really helped put me at ease. We are looking forward to Frankie’s next vacation at Theresa’s!”
“Sari was amazing. My female Chow, Emma, is typically very shy around people. Sari was able to get her to warm up in no time. And both Horatio and Emma loved having their "TV" (watching the chickens and ducks!). They came home happy and even better groomed than when I dropped them off. Hoping that Sari will have the chows over again soon. They love their time at "camp."”
“Absolutely astounding! My puppy had a wonderful time with Annette & her family, and got to practice a lot of training skills. She was super insightful and gave me so much great information. She was extremely thorough, patient, knowledgeable and by far has been the best experience I’ve had on Rover. Very thankful that she was available so last minute.”
