Barkley initially made taking his medicine and getting his cone back on a challenge, but she patiently worked through it to keep him from licking his paw. Charley is only 12 pounds but has a big bark and strong opinions about every dog and squirrel he sees! We’re so grateful for her kindness and willingness to handle their little quirks. About: I’ve grown up primarily caring for and riding horses which has remained my life until now. I live on a farm with my 2 horses, 2 barn cats, and 3 dogs - Sawyer, a 9 year old Siberian husky, Teagan, a 5 year old Australian Shepherd/Basenji mix, and Dozer, a 2 year old pittie. All were privately rescued from their own unfortunate situation, but landed them safe safely here with me through the end of their journeys - as all my previous rescues have been fortunate enough to experience. I’ve worked in 40+ horse stables to 50+ dog boarding facilities & cared for many animals from mixed livestock farms to backyard homesteads to large exotic pet set-ups. I look forward to loving your pets almost as well as you! 😉 I am very attentive to your pets needs, whether it be in a fenced yard or on leash, I engage with them in play & offer individualized attention making sure they are happy & well taken care of. You’ll receive updates with photos during &/or after their care is complete! Not a single pet will be neglected on my watch! We will coordinate a schedule that mimics your pet’s current routine as closely as possible I do not allow your dogs to greet strangers or other dogs, whether they may know them or not. I offer plenty of space when walking them, do not allow them off leash or take them to public dog parks. I do carry pepper spray in the rare occasion an off leash dog is aggressive. (This has happened unfortunately, but I feel safer being prepared than not).

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and know how to take care of them. I also have experience with cats, I have helped my grandfather with a stray cat that chose him! I'm openly available, as of today. I like to volunteer, but that usually only takes about 4 or 5 hours. I will give your pet the time it needs. You make sure that they have plenty of fresh water, eat on time, and walk them every day when the sun is not too hot, eg in the morning or evening.

“Rachel was excellent with our senior dog (Bentley). She took on the assignment at the very last minute due to our original Walker coming down with an illness. Ulthough a last minute request, Rachel came over the night before to make sure she met Bentley and to introduce herself to us. We explained our walking and feeding processes to her, and she was very accepting to the routine. While we were on our trip, Rachel sent us numerous pictures of Bentley either at home or on his walk. She kept us well updated on his activities. Unfortunately, while we were gone, he did have some accidents in the house, and Rachel cleaned them up and took care of making sure that everything was disposed to properly and that the rags used to clean up the mess were washed. Wonderful customer service. We would not hesitate to use Rachel again, as well as recommend her to any of our friends.”

About: Since my teenage years, I have taken care of various pets, cats, dogs, fish, turtles, frogs, birds, rabbits, and hamsters. In Denver, Colorado, I was assistant manager for a pet shop. We not only provided retail, but we provided play space washing, and grooming. I am looking forward to working with friendly only pets. I currently work my digital editing business part-time so I have ample time to add a pet in my daily routine. I am available daily from 4:30 AM until 10 PM. My preference would be to pet sit where they reside, but if a pet does need to stay with me overnight, they can expect a friendly, quiet, playful, safe place with three levels. There's also a dog park walking distance.
