“Colleen took wonderful care of our cockapoo for 3 days. She sent photos several times and provided photos. She also was able to give some eyedrops several times per day that our dog required. My dog seemed content and well cared for. Thank you.”

“Tabatha was fantastic!!! I’m so happy to have found her. From the moment I dropped off my dog, I instantly felt at ease. She was attentive, asked clarifying questions, and was very reassuring. She also was very consistent with sending updates, including pictures and videos. I will definitely be working with you again, Tabatha! Thank you!!”

About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Hyattsville with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-6 y/o, Pomeranian-17 y/o, Husky-12 y/o, and Pittie-8 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. I look forward to walking dogs and meeting/sitting various pets in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering me to care for your special family member! My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I currently work as a substitute teacher and part-time for parks and rec. When I’m working, my partner is usually home. On my off from work days, I’m available to sit and/or drop-in on your pet. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a fully fenced-in backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. Our home has one-step entry in the back, making it great for elderly dogs or dogs with joint problems.
“I was very nervous because I never left Niko with anyone before. I got a new job that requires me to travel more than usual. When I requested service, not only did she respond via app but she called me directly. Made me feel very comfortable. I decided to use Shaela and she kept me updated with pics and videos the entire week. I will most definitely use her again if available next time. Niko came home happy and healthy and thats all that matters 🙂”

“We have used Austin and Majid on multiple occasions (and already have them booked for our next stay.) Francis is always so happy when he recognizes that we are on their street. They take great care of him and are glad to have a safe place for him to be when we are away.”

“I was greeted friendly when onyx and I arrived! She showed us around and he was very happy with the new environment! Also she sent daily reports and pictures!”

“Angie & family were wonderful hosts! Angie sent us photos and videos and messages throughout the stay and it was very clear that our puppy loved their big yard and hanging out with all the other dogs. He crashed hard as soon as we got home!! We would absolutely stay with Angie & family again.”

“Sonia and her family were a perfect match for my dog who likes to lounge around. Sonia was flexible with time and my dog seemed very comfortable in her home and around her.”

“Abigal was very kind with Chiquita, responsive and very communicative with pictures and daily updates on how she was doing. She accommodated a late arrival and a last minute change in pickup, and her care for my pup was visible. Great sitter and would gladly book again!”

“Bria is the absolute best. My George (huge Rottweiler) is three years old and has NEVER been away from the family/ house for longer than a typical workday. George has never been been aggressive and because of separation anxiety exhibited some aggressive tendencies out of fear of abandonment. Far from the loving dog he is, especially during the meet and greet- when he was his normal gentle giant self begging for pets and rubs. Bria was extremely patient and understanding, communicating her challenges with George’s temperament. He is stereotypically casted as an aggressive breed and he was trying to live up to that stereotype. I was out of the country and had no other options. Bria not only gained George’s trust and got him back to himself; mind you he is very strong and probably outweighs her. She nursed him out of his separation anxiety and even paid for food out of her own pocket (yes i reimbursed her) to temper his diarrhea from the stressful situation of fearing abandonment. My puppy (HUGE BABY) was back to himself and very happy thank to Bria’s patience and care.”

“My previous Rover family left the area so I reached out to Aaron and Paweena, who quickly scheduled a meet & greet and asked good questions that left me confident that the would care for my girl. They invested extra time with her to overcome initial homesickness and even let her sleep on their bed.”

Emma is a great dog sitter. She took care of my dogs carefully and sincerely. I asked her services for my vacation and my whole trip schedule was constantly changed because of the weather in the destination. Emma was always responded timely and flexible. She send me pictures everyday and that made me relieved while I was away from my dogs. Thank you Emma!

Rashad took incredible care of my dog, Kobe, and made the entire experience completely stress-free. From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in great hands. He kept me updated, made sure Kobe got plenty of attention, exercise, and love, and treated him like he was part of their own family. When I picked him up, Kobe was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. As a dog owner, there's nothing more reassuring than knowing your pup is safe and genuinely cared for while you're away. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and who truly loves dogs, I would absolutely recommend Rashad. I'll definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of Kobe!

I'm so grateful for a second wonderful time with Paula with Scout. He was in such great hands that his vacay was probably more amazing than mine. Loved on, squirrel shouts, and all the belly rubs and hugs a pup could want. Thank you, Paula, for the regular updates, photos that both helped me both smile and know he was in great hands!

Five stars aren’t enough for Tracey! From the very first message, Tracey went above and beyond to make sure Paris was good. She arranged a meet and greet with Paris the last minute after another sitter fell through. She sent me updates daily! I could tell that not only did my dog feel comfortable, she practically looked like she was on vacation! Lol One thing I heard her say was “I’m serious about my fur babies!” Lol and she meant just that! Tracey clearly has a deep love for dogs and I would definitely recommend her. She is theeeeeee best! Thank you Tracey! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Karla was absolutely wonderful with Playboi! They were professional, reliable, and treated my dog like their own. I really appreciated the daily photo updates and detailed notes on their walks and playtime. Playboi seemed so happy and relaxed when I returned home, which gave me immense peace of mind while I was away. For those who have a gentle giant in their home, I highly recommend Karla and will definitely be using their services again!" Contact this sitter

Angela caring for my dog was a great experience! She is the fourth dog sitter I have used in the past five years. This is the calmest and happiest my nervous Dane has been coming back from a sitter. Sometimes my dog is reluctant to go for walks with others, but she went with Angela on the first day. Angela's place seemed quiet and well set up to host dogs. Communication was clear and timely. The profile description was accurate. She seemed comfortable, flexible, and not rushed when figuring out my dog's needs. Angela has my highest recommendation and will be my first option going forward.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
