I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs.

Information Christin & James W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dogs have special needs or behaviors that I should account for. Once informed, I’ll confirm whether it’s something my husband and I can manage. Additionally, it would be helpful to know if your dog plays friendly with other dogs so we can determine if we should bring them to the dog park or take them on long walks in parks that allow dogs on-leash instead.
A typical day
We walk around the neighborhood so the dogs can get their daily smells in and often play fetch out in the backyard. We also take the dogs to dog parks or places like the Arboretum and Lake Artemesia at least once a week. Indoor fun included a few chew and tug toys and lots of rubs.

Caring for your fluffy friend
Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors.
Reviews

Amazing sitter! My dog had an awesome 3 days with her!

Christin & James went above and beyond with my dog’s exercise needs. Plus sooo many update pics and videos. They let me drop her off last minute while I was dealing with a life changing emergency. And I’ll forever be appreciative of that.

My dog stayed with Christin and James and it was like a she went to summer camp. So much love, great activities, and just an overall easy experience. They sent photos and videos - so fun for us to see while away. We will use them again for sure.

Penny always loves to go to Christin and James. They are great at sending lots of updates and photos throughout the stay.
