I'm simply a dog lover! :)
I'm a dog lover who has been living in the DC area since 2015. I'm currently a little too busy to actually have my own pet, so I like to satisfy my joy of pups with this venture. I viewed the opportunity as something super fun to try, and now I've been dog sitting for over 6 yrs. I absolutely LOVE it. I enjoy building relationships with the owners and dogs that I care for. I believe the most enjoyable quality about my dog sitting style is that I ensure the owner is comfortable and that their dog feels safe. Im currently an elementary teacher and mom of a young child, so I have the energy and compassion to care for pets as my own. I also have the patience needed to care for them. I look forward to loving on your pup in my warm and welcoming home.

I'm so grateful for a second wonderful time with Paula with Scout. He was in such great hands that his vacay was probably more amazing than mine. Loved on, squirrel shouts, and all the belly rubs and hugs a pup could want. Thank you, Paula, for the regular updates, photos that both helped me both smile and know he was in great hands!

Paula was an amazing sitter. From comforting me when my pup was acting out of character, to providing excellent care and attention to my pup during his stay. She provided detailed updates complete with pictures and videos. Definitely stumbled on a gem of a sitter with Paula.
I was really concerned about my fur baby because she’s never been without family, EVER! We met Paula and her daughter at our arranged meet and greet which went well. When I dropped her off her her new friend on Friday, I told her to be a good girl and she looked back at me and turned running off with her new friend. They contacted us everyday, gave us updates with photos. I really think it was a good experience for both of them as well as myself. I will definitely rehire Paula and her wonderful family as my permanent sitter! 5 Stars ⭐️

Schedule
I work full time Monday through Friday and I am a 15 minute drive from work. Home by 5:15 most days. I leave for work at 6:45am.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
No yard so walks usually take place outside of my building and around the neighborhood. We are walking distance from a park that we sometimes will walk to. Inside our home dogs are allowed on shared furniture to snuggle up and help them feel comfortable. We do not allow dogs in our beds, but for pups with separation anxiety we will place them near our room or beside our bed for comfort.
A typical day
We have a dog loving high energy young child in our home who loves to play AND snuggle up with friendly pups. They will absolutely love the "royal" treatment that she gives.
