Availability
I work from home full-time, therefore timing is never an issue. I gets frequent breaks throughout the day and plans to bring dogs outside (weather permitting) for at least 30 minutes every 2 hours. It's important that dogs get ample time outdoors and time to release pent-up energy that can build up while inside. We request that drop-off and pick-up times are coordinated at least 24 hours in advance for scheduling purposes. We understand that life is unpredictable and will also be happy to accommodate last-minute requests. We'll be sure to communicate availability and maintain open lines of communication with fur-parents. We also will provide updates, photos, and progress per the request of the fur-parent. We are happy to do whatever it takes to alleviate the worry of dropping off your fur-kid to a new place and ensure that this is a worry-free experience so you can rest assured knowing the care and love of your dog is a high priority of ours.

Living quarters are cozy: fur-parents are welcome and invited to tour indoors! We have a fenced yard where we spend 50-60% of our day. No question that your dog will get a great deal of fresh air, sun, and playtime (and if permitting, TREATS)! We currently have a 5-year-old Beagle, Marshall, who has nudged us in taking the leap to officialize Dog-Day-Care and Sitter services. As our gatekeeper, we ask that your dog have a meet and greet with our Marshall to ensure all is in good company and to ensure we can create a safe space for your fur-kids. We will not accept same-day requests without a meet and greet first. We also encourage sharing any directions, preferences, training behaviors, and commands with us so we can ensure consistency with your fur-kid and apply the same practices and behaviors at home, here.

Information Ariana S. would like to know about your pet
General personality, typical behaviors, allergies, and triggers (dogs on leash, squirrels, etc), is where we usually will start. We want to get a thorough understanding of your dog, how they behave, and how we can support you in caring for your dog. We are diligent about following instructions from parents and request that all details- whether it be a favorite toy or a treat to avoid- are shared in advance.
A typical day
Dog walks, cuddles, and backyard time. Parents permitting, we enjoy taking the dogs on a field trip to dog parks such as Shirlington Dog Park, Riverdale, Dog Park, and others. We also love to play "find-it" in the yard with treats, fetch, and tug-of-war, and have many puzzles and toys to stimulate your dog and keep your dog active. It's important we maintain a healthy lifestyle outdoors and even more important when we can exercise and play with the dogs we care for.

Pet care experience
I has 15 years of combined experience of caring, attending, and loving dogs. I come from a forever-dog-family where home was always full of dogs. From Scottish Terriers to Labs to Yorkies, I nurtured dogs throughout her lifetime and continue to grow her love for dogs every day. Dogs have remained a consistent presence in my life, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love. It’s only fair that we return the favor… and then some! I do it all basic feeding, walking, bathing, and so forth, but most importantly I care. I care, nurture, attend, and will LOVE your dogs so you can be 100% certain that when your dog is here, they're truly in loving and caring hands. We measure a successful visit when fur-parents remain worry-free and when our canine friends get lots of outside time and love.
Reviews

Our dogs are not "just dogs", they are incredibly important members of our family, so even when we have to leave them, they are still always on our mind. It's been especially tough to leave them lately since my older girl Gull is almost 12.5 and we can tell she's slowing way down. So when our previous dog sitter moved away, we were worried about who was going to take her place, especially since Gull took YEARS to warm up to her fully. But then we found Ari and Ame. Within days, Gull and Oakley (our two year old sweetheart) were clearly so comfortable at their house and seemed to be loving the fun playtime with the other dogs who come for daycare or boarding, as well as their own dog, adorable Marshall. Communication was superb, with tons of adorable videos and pictures coming through every single day. And when Gull had a little "medical moment" , Ari was all over it, took great care of her, and got her back to feeling good quickly. She even dropped them back directly at our house when we got a bit delayed at the airport! I don't think I realized previously that I had a low level of anxiety every time I left my sweet girls, but that was gone by day 3 of our vacation when I knew for certain that Ari and Ame were taking care of them as if they were her own--and they were happy and exhausted when we saw them again from all the fun and love they had at their house. Thank you thank you a million times over to Ari and Ame!! We'll be seeing them again soon, I'm sure!

As someone who has owned dogs their entire life, Ari and Ame are the best dog sitters I’ve ever encountered. They are genuinely good people who love dogs.

Ariana and Ame are the wonderful dog sitters! They took the best care of our older westie and sent us lots of updates and pictures showing how he was doing. They are very responsive and caring. We hope to use them again for our dog sitting needs!

Ariana was great! Our beloved 10 year old dog just stayed with Ariana for the first time for a week and she had a wonderful time. We received a lot of pictures and videos and I could tell by Ruby’s face that she was having a great time. There is a large backyard to play in and a lot of love the whole time. Any time I messaged she was very responsive and was very accommodating during the pick up process. I am very relieved to have found such a superb new sitter and will not hesitate to use in the future.
