About: I didn’t have any pets where I lived, but my neighbors sometimes rely on me with walking their dogs, feeding them food, and playing all sorts of sports, games and other fun stuff. I’ll be mostly working part time so I have more time to take care of your friend. I’m also open on weekdays where it counts. Abigail is hands down the best pet-sitter that we've ever had. We have three cats, two of which I'd describe as being skittish (though non-harmful). By day two, both of those cats were comfortable with Abby! Typically, I tell pet-sitters that those cats may hide the entire time, but that was not the case this time--both cats seemed to hang around her, actively and happily anticipating her visit. When we arrived home, my cats were none the wiser of and clearly had not experienced any anxiety in our absence. It is an immense relief to experience that as a pet-owner and can say that I will continue to book Abby as long as she's available!
Emma was punctual, communicative, and wonderful with my three cats. She cleaned the litter and ensured that everything was completed according to the instructions I gave her. My cats were all happy to get their treats and sat on her lap while she was there. I would not hesitate to use her services again!

Carinna was amazing! She was very reliable and communicative. She went above and beyond as a caregiver for our 20+ year old cat, including delivering treats when he couldn't be bothered to use the stairs. Her time here really made for a worry-free vacation, I would definitely recommend her!

Iris is an excellent cat sitter. We have a timid cat, who waited at the door for her visits. Our cat was eager to continue her routine of being fed and hanging out playing with a laser. Iris kept her cat bowls clean and the cat litter box was kept in good order. We highly recommend her for cat care and I’m sure her dog care is equally good.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
