About: Thanks for checking out my sitter profile! I've been watching pets across the DC area for nearly 8 years, which includes experience as a walker and housesitter. I'm a dependable animal lover who will make sure your pet is happy and comfortable even while their people are away. I live with my partner in a very dog-friendly house in Landover Hills. While I manage the Rover account, my partner Lou--who is a caring pet parent with animal experience that includes a stint at wolf sanctuary-- also will keep your pet(s) company. We have two pups: the elderly Walden, a pug who sleeps 90% of the day, and Drax, an active mutt who enjoys playing with friends new and old in our yard but also cuddling up for evening snuggles. We have two cats who are friendly with dogs but have access to a dog-free office if any issues arise (so far we've only had adorable introductions as dogs' first cat friends--many nose boops). The house is in a suburban area and has a fenced in, maintained yard where your pup can happily spend their days playing with Drax, rolling in the grass, and sniffing around. We often have guest animals in the house, so are used to a daily routine of breakfast and backyards romps after wake-up, multiple breaks throughout business hours, and plenty of play time and dinner in the evenings. We’re happy to incorporate your pet’s usual routine into ours to keep them comfy. I’m attentive to dogs in my care and take pride in ensuring they are comfortable while their owners are away. While with us, your pet will be treated like our own and get plenty of attention, exercise, and care.
About: I am an animal lover and have had various types of animal companions throughout my lifetime. Currently I am the Farm operator for our Urban farm. We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. I have sat for many of my friends and family and am the go to person when someone needs to go out and about but cannot take their pet family members. I am currently focusing on dog sitting and have dedicate my time to being available to meet as many fur babies as I can in the next couple months. I have a room dedicated to pet care which has a greenhouse feel with plants but is fully enclosed in the home. It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I also have a wireless camera on the areas which allow me to make sure that everyone is ok at all times. Please note that I no longer accept large breed dogs at this time aside from past clients. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.

About: I have had dogs around me all my life I grew up with them. Dogs love attention especially when they feel loved. Cats genuinely gravitate towards me once trust is accomplished which comes with them feeling safe and loved. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
