We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. We have two pups: the elderly Walden, a pug who sleeps 90% of the day, and Drax, an active mutt who enjoys playing with friends new and old in our yard but also cuddling up for evening snuggles. We have two cats who are friendly with dogs but have access to a dog-free office if any issues arise (so far we've only had adorable introductions as dogs' first cat friends--many nose boops). The house is in a suburban area and has a fenced in, maintained yard where your pup can happily spend their days playing with Drax, rolling in the grass, and sniffing around. My dog is not spayed, so I have experience with dogs in heat. If your dog is not neutered, I have experience monitoring behavior and separating the animals. My parent's dog is not neutered. As a loving parent of a goldendoodle, pet care is a big part of my daily routine. I am able to work remotely on most days so I can be flexible with my dog walking schedule. Most mornings start with fresh water and fresh food and a walk. I usually walk my dog again during lunch and then after the work day is over in the evening. She has true caring for animals and she cared for my dog as well as she cared for her own dogs. They went on walks and when she noticed he was lagging, she picked up his ten pound self and carried him the rest of the way. She cues into behaviors to figure out dynamics and issues. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Extensive experience with larger dogs but I love them all. I am able to provide some basic training, car, and lots of love. I have owned mixed breads, boxers, and right now I have a massive that is an amazing girl. I am looking forward to caring for your pet. I have a lot of free time right now and can walk or check in your 4 legged family member anytime you need. I can check in on your other pets as well if you need to and water your plants if needed. I can care for your pets at home, take them for walk, feed them, provide medications, play and train them if needed it. Happy to work with you and your pets needs. I’ve cared for senior dogs, puppies and all ages in between. Animals in general tend to like me and I am comfortable with with all of them, birds included.
About: I believe that every child should grow up with the unconditional love of a pet. We rescued our first to grow up with our adult daughter and our newest addition has grown up with my teenage daughter. Their dogs have ultimately become my dogs because I secretly enjoy their company ☺️ Like Many, Working from home had become the normal and now that many of you are returning to in person work schedules I've decided to care for fur babies that have grown accustomed to the warmth and undivided attention of their companions. I'm free most weekdays. And after drop offs my Koby 🐶 and I go on walks in the neighborhood. And we venture the school's neighborhood at pickup. So in between your pet can be as lazy or as active as he, she or they wants. I have a large fenced back yard for playing and a huge front and back porch for lounging. Our home provides open space and cozy spaces for relaxing.
About: I’ve always had a huge passion for all animals (especially dogs and cats) ever since I was a child. I have dog sat not just for friends and family members, but also for my employers! I have roughly 2-3 years of experience caring for (dog/cat sitting, dog walking, entertaining) pets. I am super friendly and absolutely adore playing with pets, feeding them, giving them the proper care they need! I currently volunteer at the Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility and every animal there is my weakness. With my employers pets I have to watch their child(ren) while also watching over the pets. I am flexible so I am able to do what is asked of the owner to satisfy their needs and their pets’ needs as well.
About: I’ve had dogs of different breads since I was a little girl. I used to feed and walk my neighbor’s dog around the community while also taking care of mine :) I’m currently a stay at home mom so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your dog indoors and also be able to take them out occasionally on walks. I live in an apartment so I unfortunately don’t have a yard at the moment. I do have a balcony that’s safe for a small dog to be in.

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. It was a 10 day stay which is the longest we've ever left Oso with a Rover, and felt very secure with Amani the entire time. She was very communicative from the get-go, scheduling a meet beforehand to make sure Oso was comfortable at their home and with their other dog. They have a great fully fenced in yard for the dogs to play, and I know from Oso's GPS collar that he went on several walks and a dog park trip. Amani provided updates and photos every day which was great. And lastly, she was willing to give him his ear drop medication every day while he was there, which made us very relieved.
