I recently completed my Ph.D. in biochemistry at UMD and have not lined up a job quite yet, so my availability is pretty flexible. On the weekends, I am around most of the time, unless I need to run errands.

I am not open to boarding as we rent our house and cannot violate our lease. In client’s homes, I am open to whatever makes the fur baby the most comfortable! Additionally, my partner will occasionally help out during visits (with prior approval by the owner, of course), so you know that your pet will always be taken care of!

A typical day
I love to go on walks/runs, especially when the weather is nice! I also love to get out and explore new areas of the DMV. There are so many trails in the area that I love to explore on the weekends and/or weekdays after work. Your pet will get plenty of mental and physical activity when they’re with me.

I am the type of person that loves pets more than people and have had pets ever since I can remember. Presently, I have two cats of my own: a Ragdoll, Maine coon mix and a three-legged Bombay. Both are special needs, so I’m used to taking care of pets that require a little more attention than normal. I love both of them and their quirky little personalities so much. We don't have a dog of our own at the moment, due to space constraints, expense, and time committments. I live vicariously through my family’s French bulldog who is very high energy as well as a friends’ mixed bloodhound that is sweet as can be. Both of which I watch quite frequently. I go on walks with them often while they’re in my care and give them all the attention they could want since I don’t have a dog of my own.

I have booked hallie multiple times and it's been great every time. She does wonderful with my shy cat and he really comes out of his shell for her. Happy with the care as always!
Hallie always takes wonderful care of my cat! She always pays attention to details and makes an effort to be friends with my shy boy. She definitely goes above and beyond!
Hallie is amazing! She goes completely above and beyond and made me feel much better leaving my cat (who is on daily medication) home for a few days during the holiday weekend. 100% recommend her!
This is the second time she has pet for us! Our very shy VERY timid boy cat just loves her so much. My husband and I have never seen him act this way towards anyone (but us). I definitely recommend her! She has to be a cat whisperer. 😂
