They have a great fully fenced in yard for the dogs to play, and I know from Oso's GPS collar that he went on several walks and a dog park trip. Amani provided updates and photos every day which was great. And lastly, she was willing to give him his ear drop medication every day while he was there, which made us very relieved. About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. About: I'm going to be totally honest. I'm allergic to cats but having been around dogs a lot, I've inadvertently cared for a few cats in my day. I understand how cats can act vs dogs, I know how to keep them alive and entertain them for the few drop ins that they need. I can't totally smush my face into their bodies if they prefer lots of human contact, but I can guarantee they'll be so excited you're back since I have to operate at arm's length with them! I'm mainly setting this experience information up in case someone has a dog and a cat at home so please no judgement :)

About: I've had lots of experience with dogs in my life! Through high school I worked at a grooming salon washing dogs of all different sizes and temperaments. My beloved rat-chi passed away last year and I've been watching friends' and co-workers' dogs since then of all different shapes and sizes. There's a special place in my heart for seniors and lap dogs, but I absolutely love dogs of any size. I'm strong, fit and assertive enough to feel comfortable with dogs 80+ pounds, and intuitive and sensitive enough to cater to the little guys! I'm great with people too - I'm happy to listen to what your dog's needs and routines are and honor those as if they were my own fur babies. Pets are like people and they all have their own wonderful personality. I genuinely look forward to getting to know your special dog! My job is part-time and flexible - I'm home most weekdays for the majority of the day, and weekends can be tailored to your pet. I have a fenced-in yard with plenty of space for your dog to safely explore and play (always with supervision, of course!). I currently don't own any pets so yours is the star of the show! I'm used to dogs who are crate trained, but if your dog is not crate trained, I am happy to accommodate them as long as they are not property-destructive and as long as they are potty trained. I'll give your dog as much attention and/or space as they like in the home, whether they're feeling shy, clingy, tired or playful. It's normal for dogs to feel out of sorts in a new home with their parents away, and I'm happy to be their new buddy, making sure they feel safe and calm.
About: I am an animal lover and have had various types of animal companions throughout my lifetime. Currently I am the Farm operator for our Urban farm. We raise ducks and chickens but they are always separate from visiting pups. Only within view for their entertainment and relaxation here on the farm. Yes we are located nearby in the city 🥰 I have a quiet understanding with most animals that I come across and enjoy their company. I have sat for many of my friends and family and am the go to person when someone needs to go out and about but cannot take their pet family members. I am currently focusing on dog sitting and have dedicate my time to being available to meet as many fur babies as I can in the next couple months. I have a room dedicated to pet care which has a greenhouse feel with plants but is fully enclosed in the home. It has a doggy door which leads out to our fully fenced back yard and large dog run with a insulated dog house inside. I also have a wireless camera on the areas which allow me to make sure that everyone is ok at all times. Please note that I no longer accept large breed dogs at this time aside from past clients. I am currently focusing my time on pet sitting. I am always also checking in via webcam on the pups wherever I am. Dog personalities are so amazing and fun to see. I have a double fenced yard to keep your pets safe. Lots of open dog crates and bedding for snoozing. A dog door that allows them some freedom and a large dedicated outdoor dog area for doggie playtime. They also always have access to fresh cool water.

About: Hi there! I'm a dog mom of an energetic boxer, Gus. Gus is my first dog, but from a young age, I always walked dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I had over 4 years of experience with doggy roommates. I have experiences with many different personalities and sizes so I'm very comfortable with them. Gus is an excellent walking buddy who is good on the leash and so love to play with a grieve l friend for a visit. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so I'm around most of the time to monitor play and keep the pets company. If it helps lighten the load when packing, I havethe following items already: Extra dog beds Dog bowls including a slow feeder Feel free to pack these items if course if they will make your pup happier to have their own. A few things I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00. So I'm around the Pets most of the day. I also have a fenced in backyard for the them to run and and get some energy out. I will walk them in the neighborhood and will avoid busy streets. I also don't introduce them to other dogs while walking them to avoid any accidental negative greetings in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of pets all my life! I helped raise and take care of a Golden Retriever for 14 years in my childhood home until she passed away. Right know I have 3 elderly dogs who are my BFF's. I can't imagine my life without a furry friend. Also I've helped watch family and friends dogs since a young age. I will approach your pet in a calm and slow manner until they feel comfortable with me. I have a fenced yard. My neighborhood is great for walks. Also depending on your preference with dog park/ walks, I typically take dogs for a 30 min walk (of course each dog is different in taking their time I fully respect that). If your dog is comfortable at the dog park, I’d love to take them there as well! My dog park is 20 minutes away (walking).I can accomodate dogs in crates or dogs that sleep on dog beds. In case of an emergency, I will always contact you first and take your pet to your preferred vet. I have a jeep which your dog will feel really comfortable in, so I am able to get your pet to whichever vet quickly!

Im also an animal science major so besides my experience with companion animals I have experience with farm animals. I also work at a doggy daycare throughout my breaks and summer time so 40 hours a week im constantly around doggies! Obedience and patience training should always be an enjoyable experience for dogs. I am currently aiding my neighbors in training their two young pups, cane corso annd German shepherd mix, out of littermate syndrome. If you need reinforcements of training you are working on, or overall tips and tricks, I am your girl! As I am currently an empty nester with no pups at this time, I am open to all ages, sizes, breeds, and energies. I love canine’s and plan to give your pet the best care possible and make sure they’re having just as much fun as I will. :) I have a fully remote job. I will have meetings daily but create my own schedule. That allows me more flexibility with all puppers in my care. In my clients home I can easily play with your dog(s) and care for them as needed (i.e. - walk them, take them out to play, train them, play inside, crate them if needed/desired by client’s request, follow training instructions if needed, etc). My top priorities are giving the best care your pupper needs, following and meeting the desires of my clients, and providing a fun and loving experience for your pet.
About: Taken care of almost all dog types since the age of 12. My family & friends rely on me to take care of their babies I am currently unemployed so everything literally works perfectly for my schedule and for any future pet sitting accommodations. I have more than enough time with assistance hourly,daily or weekly I can easily have the crate for your dog if needed also no exterior pets for the most part your dog will be well aware of comfort & all the support s/he needs

It was a 10 day stay which is the longest we've ever left Oso with a Rover, and felt very secure with Amani the entire time. She was very communicative from the get-go, scheduling a meet beforehand to make sure Oso was comfortable at their home and with their other dog. They have a great fully fenced in yard for the dogs to play, and I know from Oso's GPS collar that he went on several walks and a dog park trip. Amani provided updates and photos every day which was great. And lastly, she was willing to give him his ear drop medication every day while he was there, which made us very relieved. Would definitely book with Amani again!”

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! “Bria is the absolute best. My George (huge Rottweiler) is three years old and has NEVER been away from the family/ house for longer than a typical workday. George has never been been aggressive and because of separation anxiety exhibited some aggressive tendencies out of fear of abandonment. Far from the loving dog he is, especially during the meet and greet- when he was his normal gentle giant self begging for pets and rubs. Bria was extremely patient and understanding, communicating her challenges with George’s temperament. He is stereotypically casted as an aggressive breed and he was trying to live up to that stereotype. I was out of the country and had no other options. Bria not only gained George’s trust and got him back to himself; mind you he is very strong and probably outweighs her. She nursed him out of his separation anxiety and even paid for food out of her own pocket (yes i reimbursed her) to temper his diarrhea from the stressful situation of fearing abandonment. My puppy (HUGE BABY) was back to himself and very happy thank to Bria’s patience and care.”
