I'm retired, with a schedule that is my own to make. I'm only looking for Rover duties in the 20814 and nearby zip codes that I can get to easily and quickly. Daily activities include daily walks and almost daily lap swimming, lots of reading, too much scrolling, and occasional editing and writing gigs. Oh, and playing with my cat Dasha. When staying over for your dog, I'd live at your place and visit Dasha for a few hours daily. I'd travel with my laptop and pretty much do at yours what I do at mine.

Schedules and a certain amount of order and a base line of cleanliness - that's my approach to caring for my four-legged family, whether cats or dogs. I expect dogs to need attention and I'll give it. Though we lived in an apartment in Moscow, our Black Lab Jasper enjoyed the life of Riley, with 3-4 walks a day to nearby parks. The rest of the day he spent following us from room to room, positioning himself strategically so he always could see one of us at all times. Cats, of course, are different; I wait for Dasha to emerge from wherever she's "hiding" to let me know when she wants to be played with, brushed, petted. If this is your pet - great. If not, I'll adapt to that, too!

Pet care experience
I'm the woman taking an evening walk and asking if I can say Hi! to your dog. Two dogs - one as a child, the second 35 years later - were among the most important relationships of my life. No offence to family and friends. The second was a Black Lab and taking him on his evening walk in a local park in Moscow was the best part of every day. I'm retired and walk for pleasure anyhow. I am the servant of Dasha, a rescue cat with more personality than good sense, who is willing to let me spend nights away to take care of your beloved dog or cat. Friends and family have already benefited from my "service" - and now you can too.

Reviews
Having known Toni H. since childhood, I can attest to her authentic and responsible affection for four-footed family members. From her beloved Jaspar to sweet Honey Boy, her dogs have lived safe, healthy, happy lives and experienced all that a great dog can imagine. Enjoying a walk with a friend (who happens to be on a leash), delighting in the sight of a "hidden" dog's brow emerging from behind a curtain, or simply being in the presence of a curled up sleeper have all ranked high on her list of simple pleasures. This is why I recommend Toni H, without hesitation, as the best choice to care for your loved one.
Toni is absolutely the best when it comes to caring for pets. She watched over my hound Hallie on several occasions. Toni is punctual, conscientious and genuinely cares about the animal, cat or dog. Toni does not need a lot of instruction but if there are things particular to your pet, she will make sure she follows every detail or ask questions to clarify. You can rest assured that your pet is well loved and cared for!
I've known Toni for many years and am happy to recommend her as a trustworthy and kind pet caregiver. Toni is thoughtful, as well as thorough, in everything she does. She is a person of integrity and takes her responsibilities seriously. Plus, she has a big heart. She is exactly the kind of experienced individual with whom to entrust a dear furry family member.
Toni has cared for my pets (three cats and a dog) on multiple occasions. Toni was reliable, responsible, and caring. She gave our pets extra TLC in our absence and they clearly missed Toni upon our return. I highly recommend Toni as a pet sitter!
