About: New to Rover, but not to pet sitting. Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I’ve grown up with taking care of cats and dogs my whole life. I adopted my two cats five years ago and they are my world. I started sitting 22 years watching my neighbors animals while they were away. I’m an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pet. I am reliable and take any opportunity to help other fur parents out there. I have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes, energy levels, breeds, and ages. It’s important to provide pets with a safe and comfortable environment to ensure a stress free experience. As a pet owner myself it gives me comfort knowing my pets are safe while I am away. I am more than willing to provide updates and pictures after visits. I love giving walks in any outside areas whether that’s a backyard, neighborhood, or park. Having fun and giving affection is second nature to me. I will treat your pet as if they are my own! If you have any questions feel free to message me! I currently work on the week days, but work from home on Fridays. On the weekends I love spending time with my husband and our cats so it won’t be a problem to leave when needed. I thrive on routine and I know pets do as well. My cats have plenty of toys which they mostly don’t use because they love household items. When we get home from work they are always with us and love to cuddle. I follow instructions to anyone specifications as their owners know what they need best. If I have a question or are unsure of something I have no problem asking. I love to show affection to let pets know they are cared for.

I’ve spent years looking after the beloved pets of friends, neighbors, and family, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own. At home, I currently have two cats, three fish, and a crested gecko. I also have experience with hedgehogs, mice, and bunnies. My skills include administering medication to both cats and dogs, maintaining good hygiene (like grooming and other cleanups), and most importantly providing consistent, attentive companionship. I genuinely love animals and always have fun playing with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk or your cat just wants a cozy lap and some gentle pets, I’m here to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or we can schedule a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members! Schedule: As a college student, my summer is wide open. I can do weekends as well so I should be able to fit around any schedule you require! For drop-in visits I will give your pet(s) food and water, clean litter boxes and handle any messes your pet makes. I can also water house plants if you need me to.

About: Hey! I’m a 20-year-old college student who’s been caring for dogs for the past 5 years. I’ve looked after all kinds of dogs — from energetic dogs to senior dogs—and I always try to make sure they have fun. I’m also a lifeguard, but I have a flexible schedule. If you’re looking for someone reliable who likes being around animals, I’d love to help take care of your dog! I am available every day of the week to take care of your pets but am also working as a lifeguard so will need to work around that at times (I mostly only work as a lifeguard 2 or 3 days of the week for 4 hour shifts) When I’m staying at your home to care for your dog, I follow their usual routine—whether that’s meal times, walks, or just hanging out. I also make sure to treat your home with the same care I’d want for my own.

“Just in the few walks we've scheduled with Lin, I can already tell she's the best dog walker we've ever had. Our dog looks forward to their walks together! I've also noticed how much better our dog walks on leash with us - she's not pulling as much.”

About: I've been caring for cats and dogs my entire life, and my love for animals knows no bounds. My Pomeranian, Dachshund, and Pitbull all lived to the ripe old ages of 16 and 17, thanks to the simple secret of love. Currently, I have a stunning 90-pound Pitbull/Cane Corso mix who is 7 years old. Although I only have my one girl now, I grew up surrounded by a variety of cats and mixed dog breeds. I can't wait to take exceptional care of your beloved pet. I reside in the Eldersburg area and have a flexible schedule throughout the week and weekends. I can adapt to almost any schedule you need. I prioritize the safety and well-being of your furry friend. I ensure that all walks are conducted in safe, dog-friendly environments, avoiding areas with heavy traffic or potential hazards. I follow strict leash etiquette and am vigilant about weather conditions to keep your pet comfortable and secure. Additionally, I am attentive to your dog's behavior and health, making sure they interact amicably with other dogs and minimizing the risk of infections or diseases. Your dog's safety is my top priority, and I strive to provide a fun, enriching, and secure walking experience.

“Rowyn has been taking care of my cat and lizard regularly for about a year now. My cat can be a bit crazy. He has limitless energy and likes to attack hands and feet, but she handles it great and even takes him for walks sometimes. My lizard is a crested gecko and is typically less work, but I often have very specific instructions which she follows to a tee. She is also awesome about letting me know if anything seems off with either animal and goes the extra mile to make sure they're healthy and happy when I get back. She sends me great pictures, so I can see how they're doing. Rowyn is always my first choice of pet sitter and my animals love her!
