I'd like to know what your pet's daily routine is like, any medical conditions or special needs they have, any behavioral concerns, their favorite treats, toys, and activities, and any training cues they know. For dogs that I'll be walking, I'd also like to know what they're leash manners are currently like and how they react to things we're likely to encounter on a walk (people, other dogs, wildlife, passing cars, etc). Please note, I require a Meet & Greet with all new clients (charged as a 30-minute drop-in visit). This ensures we're the right fit for each other and allows me to learn about your pet's unique needs, routines, and personality in detail.
A typical day
A typical day with me might include a "sniffari" walk, playtime with engaging toys, training games, or simply cuddling up for some quiet time. I have a large collection of food puzzles and other enrichment toys for both dogs and cats that I bring with me on visits for your pet to try out. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet's routine, so I'll work closely with you to ensure that their feeding schedule, medication regimen, and exercise needs are met.

I'm also a GoodPup Certified Dog Trainer, specializing in positive reinforcement training methods. My passion is creating personalized care plans that cater to each pet's unique requirements, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved. Specialties: - Enrichment: I'm dedicated to incorporating enrichment activities into all the pet care services I provide. This includes things like food puzzles, training, long-leash exploratory walks, scent games, agility, and more, tailored to each pet's unique needs and personality. - Fearful and reactive dog care: I'm experienced in handling dogs with fear, anxiety, or reactivity issues. I use gentle, reward-based methods to build your dog’s trust and confidence. - Medical pet care: As a veterinary assistant, I’m experienced and comfortable caring for pets with medical needs and skilled in administering all types of pet medications, including pills, liquids, topical medications, insulin, and sub-Q fluids.
