About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs of all sizes, including my two cats and my 80 lb English yellow lab. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, needs, and routines. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I like to think I have a special connection with animals and an instinct for understanding what makes them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, cuddles, or simply calm companionship, I’ll make sure they feel cared for and loved while you’re away. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits for cats and dogs, and I treat every pet like family! Lastly, I am also comfortable giving pets medications as my dog Gigi has allergies and takes some medication and supplements. Also I have had to give medicines for multiple cats over the years including inhaler treatments. Currently my elderly cat Mrs. Norris is 17 and living with cancer. She is taking a few medicines to keep her comfortable before it’s time. We have lots of snuggles on her heated blanket, look out the window and bask in the sun. I understand the extra care and love your older animal needs. I look forward to getting know your fur babies!! I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and have the time and flexibility to provide consistent attention, exercise, feeding, companionship, and general care throughout the day. I care for pets by following their regular routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. About: Hi! I am new to Rover! I am 24 and have taken care of dogs my whole life! Growing up, we always had at least 2-4 dogs in our home at all times, all different breeds and sizes. We treat dogs like children in my family :) I work a hybrid job in office Monday-Wednesday so my availability is mainly Thursday-Sunday. Week days I am available to do visits throughout the day and weekends my availability is very open. About: My life is catered towards animals. I work as a Canine Coach at a local small business where I guide up to 60 dogs to have a fun and safe day each day. With my own animals I love hiking, various dog sports, adventures and training for fun. I have fostered numerous puppies for a local rescue and trained them until they found their forever homes. I rescued my own dog and helped him build his confidence, he was extremely fearful even afraid of me and he has blossomed in my care. I currently work at a doggy care but always time to look after your pets. I usually work in the morning so I check in with your pets when I wake up then a few more times after work. About: We have a very sweet dog and his name is Jack, who we have had for about 9 years. He is amazing with other pets and gets along with every animal he meets. We also have two sweet children who also love to play with and help care for animals. We are excited to meet your pet and to help care for them while you are away. We have a large yard for them to play and a great neighborhood for taking walks. This is a great alternative to pet boarding with much more personal care and much more affordable rates. About: I currently have 4 cats and 2 dogs. One of my dogs deals with leash reactivity and I have spent extensive time with trainers to get him to a good place. My other dog is just out of puppy hood and doing wonderfully. I am used to managing a house with a variety of animals and have experience with all sorts of pet temperaments. I have pet sit for friends in the past. 2 of my cats require daily medication and I am familiar with administering pills and shots to cats. My long term goal is to become a professional dog trainer. I am using Rover as an opportunity to work with more dogs and get some additional experience. I work from home, so I have flexibility to take care of your pets as needed. About: I’ve cared for dogs for years—both my own and through my professional pet sitting work. I’m comfortable with all kinds of pups, including energetic puppies and sweet senior dogs who may need a slower pace and extra patience. I also have personal experience caring for an injured dog (my own had a CCL tear last summer), so I understand how important it is to be gentle, keep walks controlled, and watch for any limping or discomfort. During visits, I make sure your dog gets a safe walk, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of love—plus photo updates and a detailed visit note so you always know how things went. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits. I’m also available for last-minute requests when needed, including weekends and holidays. For walks, I use a waist leash/leash belt so your pup is securely attached to me the entire time—this helps keep both your pet and me safe. I’m careful around doors and gates, double-check locks before leaving, and I send updates with notes and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors dogs for as long as I can remember. I also have a loving dog of my own therefore making me a great sitter for you and your pets! I have also been pet sitting through facebook this summer which has given me lots of experience. :) I’m a rising sophomore at JMU and am home for the summer looking for any pet sitting jobs! I have an extremely flexible schedule and can work weekdays as well as weekends. I would feed them, play with them, make sure they stay out of trouble, and occasionally reward them with treats! I would also take them outside to use the bathroom frequently as well as long walks or playing :)

About: I’ve had all types of pets growing up (hamsters, rabbits, dogs, and 1 cat). As an adult, I’ve had 1 dog, 2 guinea pigs, and currently have 1 leopard gecko (caged in my son’s room). I have three small children so caring for a pet full time is not in the cards for our family right now but it hurts my soul to not have any in our home. I thought this would be a great opportunity to get my fill for my love of dogs and cats until we are ready for our own again. I am very active and walk my 10k+ steps a day and would love to have a walking buddy with me. I work full time but from home. My three children are in some form of child care Mon - Fri. *Summer schedule for kids varies* I have two yards. One large yard, great for running around. We also have a smaller yard that was purposely created for dogs to go to the bathroom when the former owner lived here as she was a foster for dogs.

About: I grew up on a farm so I have had animals of all sorts since I was little. I ran an equine boarding facility for 2 and a 1/2 years caring for up to 25 horses at a time. I am currently halfway through my degree to become a vet technician. My husband and I own 3 horses 2 dogs 4 cats and and 4 fish. I love taking our dogs for walks and hiking. Our cats enjoy playing with toy mice, the laser point, and eating treats 😋 We foster cats, so I have dealt with cats of all shapes and sizes! I also have worked with dogs that have a more aggressive/cautious personality. I am willing to work with them as well! Your animals will be in great hands! 😊 I currently work part-time so late morning to late afternoons are the best! My classes are in the evening and we take our dogs on walk in the morning before my husband goes to work. Midday walks and dropins are perfect! We have about 1/2 an acre fenced in backyard that our dogs love playing in and our cats love to play with toy mice, the laser pointer, and eating treats! One of our dogs is older so I am completely comfortable with older dogs and puppies! Since we foster cats and kittens I am familiar with cats of all shapes and sizes!

About: I’ve had hands on experience caring for pets for many years and currently help take care of my 15 year old senior dog, Charlie. Being an online college student gives me a very flexible schedule, so I’m able to spend plenty of quality time with the pets I care for. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and understand the patience and extra attention they may need, but I also enjoy caring for younger, more energetic dogs. About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. I am available on weekends and holidays to take care of your pets needs. I can usually make something work around my schedule. At my house, there is acres of land and space.
