Safety, trust & environment

I love it when your pet gets a chance to interact with their environment in different ways. Going for a nice hike, playing with toys, and teaching them tricks are great ways to spend time. I will also make sure your pet is tidy and fed per your instructions. For an extra fee, I can plan a special adventure or tend to their hygiene needs (bathing, nail trim, teeth-brushing, etc. - I hand/towel-dry only!) if your pal is amenable to it. I have experience with older pets and small breeds especially. I also love just chilling out with your critter(s). It's all about the vibe! As of 2/2026 I am feline/canine CPR and First Aid certified.

Information Alyssa C. would like to know about your pet

Please make me aware of of any special needs, allergies, chronic conditions, or other care concerns. I want to make sure your pal is comfortable and happy! Under certain circumstances (i.e. you're a breeder, pet is pregnant, severe behavior problems, pet lives mostly outdoors, puppy/kitten, etc.) I may ask for the most recent vet visit & vaccination record before the booking starts. This is keeping with professional grooming and kennel practices and helps to protect your pet, other animals, and me. Thank you for understanding!

A typical day

If your best friend/s is/are feline, I will gladly give them as much cuddles, attention, play, grooming, ✨️ treats ✨️- or space! - as they need. I also LOVE looking after birds and small mammals, and have experience caring for budgies, cocatiels, fish, and chinchillas. Based on your requests and info you provide regarding your pet's temperment and routine, we will interact in a way that maximizes their individual enrichment needs. If you have dog/s, your pup(s) and I may go on a nice walk, jog, or run along local paths and trails. For longer visits, we can go on a hike at a local park or take a drive for a pup cup or some other pet-parent-approved treat (you provide the vehicle harness or crate - safety first!). Or maybe your friend likes to take it easy, do yard patrol, fetch, learn a new trick, or sit and get scratches? Let me know!

Pet care experience

It all started for me in middle school as an impromptu small business looking after my neighbors, family, and friends' pets while they travelled. To this day I relish the countless hours spent with animal companions. Rest assured your pet will have my undivided attention! Along with calm, confident care I will take the best pictures of you pet, and also offer limited grooming services. Additionally, I am very comfortable working with you and your pet if they have a history of problematic behaviors - I have lots of experience with this and would love to make a written action plan at your request, designed specifically for your pal. Also, if your friend needs extra time and energy outdoors, I'm the one! No ten-minute tuts around the yard over here, I will tire that energetic baby out with running and playing so they are calm and collected by dinner time! If that's not enough, I am also a beekeeper. If you are headed out on a trip and need an inspection, treatment, or someone to check on your ladies, or even just need an extra hand getting it done, give me a buzz here on Rover and I'll get back to you ASAP! ✨️No charge✨️if you have four or less colonies and are registered with the state. 👸✨️🐝 I'm looking forward to meeting your buddy/buddies and hope we'll be a pawfect fit. 😊

Alyssa goes ABOVE and BEYOND for your pets. Over the last couple of months, she has been patient with us and our scheduling woes, and absolutely lovely for our pup to the point where she runs to the window for every car in the driveway in hopes that it’s Alyssa. I could not recommend her more, but will be upset if we have to share her. Thank you Alyssa!!!

Alyssa is just the best! When we have to go out of town we’re able to leave worry free with Alyssa on the job. She’s amazing with our animals, punctual, thorough and with great attention to detail. Really appreciate the updates and pictures during her visits as well! Highly recommend!
