About: I have taken care of a variety of animals and I would like to expand my services more to those in need. I have worked with large dog breeds (I have two great danes at home), cats, and smaller critters like bunnies. I want you and your pet to feel safe with me. I let animals get to know me first so I know they are comfortable with someone new entering their safe space. I don't like to pressure them into affection when they are not showing they want it or seem stressed. In a case like that I tend to just stay in one spot and let them observe, relax, and come closer when they feel safe to do so. I currently attend community college part time and work part time on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and Monday mornings. My college schedule only had me going in person on Wednesdays from 12:30pm to 4:10pm and Fridays from 9:30am to 1:10pm. I do have an online class, but that one is a little more flexible on where and when to finish those assignments. As semesters change, I will do my best to update my schedule availability. If there are any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to let me know! In my own home, I make sure that my own dogs have been fed in the mornings and evenings. Throughout the day I check to make sure their water is at a good level and that it is fresh and slobber free, especially during those hot months. I make sure to let them out every few hours so they can get some well deserved play time. I love to play with them, and we had adopted one of them as a puppy and I got to see him grow up.

About: I'm a certified cat lady with a great understanding and love of our doggo friends too. 10+ years of experience living with and caring for dogs and cats. Our dogs always seek me out for walks because they find walks with me so fun! I have great skill dealing with special needs pets: administering medications (like giving my diabetic cat insulin shots), and reading pet body language to meet their comfort needs. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in and play with your pups and/or kitties! I'm available on weekends at 11am or later. Since our home is already full of cats and a dog, I am only offering services at clients homes or dog walking at this time. I will start each session by patiently gaining trust with your pet, with gentle greetings and allowing them to get comfortable first. Please include any special needs for pet care when reaching out.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and currently my parents will leave their dogs in my care when they go out of town. I also used to watch my friend’s dogs in college whenever they needed to go home! One of my favorite things to do in college was to walk the dogs at the humane society and we even had an event to walk dogs with other people in greek life on campus! I am very flexible when it comes to routine, i would structure my schedule around what you would prefer! I am able to do weekdays and weekends! I walk my dogs in the early morning but I would able to adjust based on your personal schedule! Pets are a part of a family! I would take the best care i could to make sure they are happy and healthy throughout the time they are in my care!

About: I have experience training dogs of all sizes and ages. My family had dogs throughout the entirety of my childhood, giving me a deep appreciation for pets of all kinds growing up. I gained further training and experience through my employment at Petco as an operations specialist. Pet care has been a part of my daily routine for the entirety of my life. Whether it was making a special dinner for a picky-eater dog that needed medication, taking a rambunctious puppy out into the yard to relieve their energy, or taking multiple dogs out for a walk to make sure they get their exercise, pet care isn't just an addition to my routine, it is an integral structure to it. I have experience taking pets outside both in a yard and out on a leash for a walk. I have experience giving medication to animals of all kinds, as well as transferring animals into and out of crates/carriers.

About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. I am available on weekends and holidays to take care of your pets needs. I can usually make something work around my schedule. At my house, there is acres of land and space. About: My life is catered towards animals. I work as a Canine Coach at a local small business where I guide up to 50 dogs to have a fun and safe day each day. With my own animals I love hiking, various dog sports, adventures and training for fun. I have fostered numerous puppies for a local rescue and trained them until they found their forever homes. I rescued my own dog and helped him build his confidence, he was extremely fearful even afraid of me and he has blossomed in my care. I work at a local doggy daycare during the week not far from my home. In the morning all pets get individual attention and exercise before breakfast when i go to work. Each animal has their own private area to relax during the day. At lunch time everyone gets a potty break and an interactive game. At dinner they again get individual attention that meets their needs. Everyone sleeps in the bedroom with me overnight. Weekends we go on lots of adventures and play all day long. I will follow any and all instructions you provide so don’t hesitate to ask. No request is too big and I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is perfectly cared for.

About: Hi! My name is Andrew. I’m a nurse working in critical care and behavioral health settings. I hold bachelors degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and I’m pursuing my long term goal of becoming a DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I joined rover as a way to make additional income and prevent burnout by picking extra nursing shifts. I have firsthand experience caring for dogs, having a golden doodle myself. I understand the responsibility that comes with being entrusted with a pet. From daily walks and feeding schedules to playing, companionship, and providing a safe environment, I treat every pet with the same attention and care as I would show my dog. I work as a nurse on a predictable schedule, which allows me to plan pet care around my days off. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. I have a golden doodle and understand the importance of regular walks, exercise, attention, and maintaining a pets routine. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine for every pet. As a nurse and dog owner, I’m dependable, attentive, and detail oriented. I follow all owner instructions, provide plenty of care and attention, and keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.

About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had cats throughout my life and have also had the joy of caring for a dog. I truly enjoy the companionship that pets bring and love giving them plenty of attention, affection, and care. Now that my kids are grown and out of the house, I have more time to spend doing something I genuinely enjoy! Being around animals! About: I've taken care of many different dogs, I am comfortable with all breeds and ages. Ive had experience with every energetic puppies, as well as low energy older dogs, small dogs that are all over the place and loud ones. I've lived in a household with pets basically my while life, aside from dogs I have experience with cats, lizards, small animals (specifically rats and hamsters), and parrots. I am very passionate with them all, love spending time with them. My house and neighborhood is great and safe for walking pets, not many cars come through and there are not that many dogs around, so accidents would not happen. And my house is large with a lot of large empty spaces so the dog wouldnt have a chance to be destructive. Most of the time I would be available, I spend most of my time at home, and I do college online. Occasionally I might leave for a day, and in October I'm going on a trip 5-17. My house is very pet friendly, I currently have rats but they have their own room to which I usually keep the door closed. A large part of the house has a lot of empty spaces and the main living room currently doesn't have much furniture, but still a lot of space to run around. It does have stairs. Our neighborhood is a great place to walk around, not that many cars or people walk around, so there would be no accidents. Unfortunately my back/front yard is not fenced, so the dog would need to stay on a leash. I will also listen and follow all the instructions provided by you in your home, I respect other people's spaces and privacy.
