“This is our first experience using a dog walker with Rover and we are very pleased with Destiny! We needed someone to walk our dog 3 times a day for two days. She arrived on time for all 6 walks and sent pictures of each walk. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Sara did an amazing job with my Bulldog Phil. He can be a handful sometimes and she did an amazing job making sure everything went smoothly. You can tell she really cares about animals. Definitely will be using her services again!”

About: I grew up taking care of my own cairn terrier and years of being the go-to dog walker for three dogs in my neighborhood, giving me experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, and will make sure to keep them feeling loved and comfortable while you're away! I'm currently working part-time, so I am available during the weekdays from 9AM-9PM, and Saturdays as well to come visit your pets! With advance notice, other times can be coordinated as well. When I'm in a client's home, I always take care to follow their routines, make sure the environment stays clean and safe, and double checking the doors every time I go in and out.
“Jaeda arrived on time for both the meet and greet and dog walk. She’s personable and took the time to get to know my pup a little better. She asked good questions about her habits and temperament. She was respectful of my home and pup!”

“Casie is so great!! She gives great updates. I know my pupper gets great attention and love, and is well taken care of when Casie is with him. I would highly recommend her!!”

“Natasha is a dog whisperer! She’s fantastic with Keiko. I’ve been working with her for months now and she’s very reliable. She’s timely, great at communicating, and you can tell she really loves doggos. I’ve recommended Natasha to a few friends already and will continue to recommend her to anyone needing a reliable dog walker!”

“Jason listens carefully to what I like when it comes to training, as Roarke is in training to be a service dog. He also won Roarke’s affection right away. I would recommend him to anyone.”

“Ryan is absolutely amazing with resetting puppy behavior so my little guy continues learning and LOVING learning each day on his walks. If we could we would add an extra star for Ryan!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ana was absolutely amazing with our dog while we were away for 10 days. She was scheduled to walk him twice a day and feed him after each 30-minute walk, but she often went above and beyond by stopping by three times a day. She was always punctual, caring, and incredibly attentive. When he had an accident in the house, Ana thoroughly cleaned everything up without us even having to ask. What really gave us peace of mind was her constant communication—she sent regular texts, photos, and videos of their walks, which made being away so much easier. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will absolutely book her again. Highly recommend! 🐶💙”
About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. I am available on weekends and holidays to take care of your pets needs. I can usually make something work around my schedule. At my house, there is acres of land and space. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and currently my parents will leave their dogs in my care when they go out of town. I also used to watch my friend’s dogs in college whenever they needed to go home! One of my favorite things to do in college was to walk the dogs at the humane society and we even had an event to walk dogs with other people in greek life on campus! I am very flexible when it comes to routine, i would structure my schedule around what you would prefer! I am able to do weekdays and weekends! I walk my dogs in the early morning but I would able to adjust based on your personal schedule! Pets are a part of a family! I would take the best care i could to make sure they are happy and healthy throughout the time they are in my care!
“Tabitha was great with Riley.. I knew from the first meeting and Riley’s response to her she was a good choice. She took the time to care for her as well as play. She even added a day last minute which I really appreciated! I would definitely book with her again anytime I need a dogsitter.”

“Alaina was incredibly communicative and respectful. She took care of Enzo for a whole weekend and made sure I was updated in terms of where she took my baby Enzo and when she fed him/refilled his water. Overall, I 100% respect her for her services and trust her with any pet.”

“Yeji came three time a day to walk Eilidh while I was recovering from surgery. She was friendly, communicative, and arrived on time. Most importantly, she treated my fur baby well, giving her affection and some much needed exercise/potty time. I will definitely reach out to Yeji if I ever need help again.”

“Breyanna is great with our pittie Beanie, she is punctual, transparent, responds quickly and gives us photo updates after walks! I don’t have to worry about Beanie while at work, because I know Beanie is in good hands. 10/10 would recommend!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
