About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. I’m an animal lover through-and-through (if you’ve seen it I’ve probably thought about wanting to make friends with it) but cats have a special place in my heart. A couple years ago I said goodbye to my cat of 14 years, Boylston, and I recently moved from Boston where I parted with two cats–Figero and Sabrina–who I loved like my own. About: I do not own a dog personally, however I have had experience caring for dogs. I have dogsitted for as long as I can remember, feeding, walking dogs and genuinely caring for them. I work from home in Ellicott city with time dedicated to care for pets. I am pretty flexible and willing to go out of my way for pet care work. I live in a very walkable and safe neighborhood community in Ellicott City. While not gated, it is a closed community and offers numerous paths for dog walkers, including a dog park nearby as well. There is a shared backyard where I have seen dogs play and ample space in my townhome. I have had cats/ dogs in my home in the past with no problem.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since i was 8, dogs ranging from yorkies to pit bulls & german shepherds. I currently have 1 golden doodle named Max and i’m in school for Biology to pursue Veterinary medicine. Everyday i wake up, walk max after i use the bathroom, feed him then go eat myself. After that it’s however i have things going on that day, i fit him in. If i leave out for a set time i walk him first then walk him again when i come back. I make sure they are getting as much love as my own pets, I have a crate to fit a medium/small dog so if a crate is needed i do have one. I will follow the same schedule i do to care for my animals unless another schedule is required.
“I would give Roy ten stars if I could. He has truly gone above and beyond to help us out with our anxious pup. First, he was able to accommodate us for many walks over the Thanksgiving holiday on relatively short notice. Then, he was so incredibly patient in getting to know our puppy. We did not realize how anxious our dog would be, as he is generally ok meeting people on walks. However, he is fearful when people come into our house and can growl and be reactive at times. Roy gave him the space he needed and didn’t force anything on our dog. He was patient with him and us and gave him lots of treats and gradually let our dog get to know him. It’s obvious that Roy has spent a lot of time around dogs and is adept at reading their body language. By the second walk, they were buddies and I know our pup will trust him more and more each walk.”

“Theresa is exceptional! We were a bit nervous to leave our boy, Otto, for the first time. Daily check ins from Theresa put us at ease. It was clear from the pictures that he was as comfy and happy as can be in Theresa’s home. We will definitely be reaching out to Theresa next time we have to leave our boy in good hands.”

“Terry was the best! We had to leave our dog with Terry on short notice but I’m so glad that we found him. He was incredibly professional in responding to my many text messages and was prompt and frequent with picture updates of our Indiana while we were out of town. Terry also obviously genuinely loves dogs and treated Indiana with respect from the moment they first met. We have a very anxious dog but it was clear that Indiana warmed up to Terry pretty quickly. We’ll absolutely be asking Terry to sit for us again in the future.”
