About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. About: I do not own a dog personally, however I have had experience caring for dogs. I have dogsitted for as long as I can remember, feeding, walking dogs and genuinely caring for them. I love all dogs alike and at the end of the day I just want to see your dog happy. Services will include -Meet and Greet. -Only one dog at a time guaranteed. -Convenient/flexible drop off and pick up times. -Excercise/walks at least 3-4+ times a day or whatever is preferred by the owner. -Sanitized rooms, vacuumed daily, and house will never be shared with other pets. -Around the clock attention for overnight boarding, I am able to be work from home every day when I have a dog in my care. I work from home in Ellicott city with time dedicated to care for pets. I am pretty flexible and willing to go out of my way for pet care work. I live in a very walkable and safe neighborhood community in Ellicott City. While not gated, it is a closed community and offers numerous paths for dog walkers, including a dog park nearby as well. There is a shared backyard where I have seen dogs play and ample space in my townhome. I have had cats/ dogs in my home in the past with no problem.
About: I have had pets since a child (duck, rabbit, dogs, cats, iguanas) and just love them. I let dogs take their time when exploring and I don’t rush them unless I see that they have found a Scooby snack. Most dogs prefer to sit in my lap even when in the presence of their owner. They love me and I love them even the sassiest of them. I work from home which allows me to be available 24 hours a day. If your pet is a foodie, they will love it here (salmon bites, duck necks, chicken feet, ice cream, pup cups and frozen fruit on hot days). I will send an update the first evening and the morning after so you are certain that they have settled in. Thereafter I will send a picture or video daily but you are welcomed to check in at any time. My assistant Imani (my mom who lives with and assists with sitting), also enjoys loving on and helping with your babies. She may help with check in/ check out and walks. **I now have a cat and cannot accept dogs that aren’t cat friendly. I also cannot accept unfixed dogs and dogs that aren’t housebroken. I walk 3-5 miles in the morning and another in the evenings (less depending on the weather). I would love to take your baby along. I have a friendly dog. I use baby gates and can also crate your dog (you must bring the crate with you). They would sleep in my bedroom on the dog beds and have free range of the house (except the kitchen which has a gate up).

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and currently my parents will leave their dogs in my care when they go out of town. I also used to watch my friend’s dogs in college whenever they needed to go home! One of my favorite things to do in college was to walk the dogs at the humane society and we even had an event to walk dogs with other people in greek life on campus! I am very flexible when it comes to routine, i would structure my schedule around what you would prefer! I am able to do weekdays and weekends! About: My life is catered towards animals. I work as a Canine Coach at a local small business where I guide up to 50 dogs to have a fun and safe day each day. With my own animals I love hiking, various dog sports, adventures and training for fun. I have fostered numerous puppies for a local rescue and trained them until they found their forever homes. I rescued my own dog and helped him build his confidence, he was extremely fearful even afraid of me and he has blossomed in my care. I work at a local doggy daycare during the week not far from my home. In the morning all pets get individual attention and exercise before breakfast when i go to work. Each animal has their own private area to relax during the day. At lunch time everyone gets a potty break and an interactive game. At dinner they again get individual attention that meets their needs. Everyone sleeps in the bedroom with me overnight. Weekends we go on lots of adventures and play all day long. I will follow any and all instructions you provide so don’t hesitate to ask. No request is too big and I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is perfectly cared for.

“I would give Roy ten stars if I could. He has truly gone above and beyond to help us out with our anxious pup. First, he was able to accommodate us for many walks over the Thanksgiving holiday on relatively short notice. Then, he was so incredibly patient in getting to know our puppy. We did not realize how anxious our dog would be, as he is generally ok meeting people on walks. However, he is fearful when people come into our house and can growl and be reactive at times. Roy gave him the space he needed and didn’t force anything on our dog. He was patient with him and us and gave him lots of treats and gradually let our dog get to know him. It’s obvious that Roy has spent a lot of time around dogs and is adept at reading their body language. By the second walk, they were buddies and I know our pup will trust him more and more each walk.”

About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

“Charles was amazing. Prince had a little issue shortly before his stay, and Charles was wonderful about making sure he received his medication. He kept me updated and even took pictures of Prince and sent them to me, which I really appreciated. Prince looked like he was having a great time and was very comfortable in Charles’s care.
