About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! About: It can be so stressful trying to find someone to care for your furry loved one(s) while you’re away; I would love to make it easier for you! I’m an animal lover through-and-through (if you’ve seen it I’ve probably thought about wanting to make friends with it) but cats have a special place in my heart. I have lived in cat households since I was four; for me, a cat makes a home. A couple years ago I said goodbye to my cat of 14 years, Boylston, and I recently moved from Boston where I parted with two cats–Figero and Sabrina–who I loved like my own. I have often done the maintenance for my dogs like cutting their nails, given them baths, brushed them, brushed teeth, and groomed them if needed. I have pet sat a few times for family members. “Niko had a great night with Karen and her family! He was a little anxious to start, but Karen took him on a walk right away to calm his nerves which made a huge difference. She sent a few updates and pictures throughout the evening. When we picked up Niko, he was SO calm compared to when we pick him up from a kennel. That is proof in itself that Niko had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be boarding with Karen and her family again as long as they’ll have Niko!”
