“Any pup would be lucky to have Daniela as one of their people! My reactive dog is a big fan of hers. He is noticeably more relaxed on days that she came to see him while we were at work. Don’t hesitate to book with Daniela! She’s responsive and cares for your pets like her own.”

About: I'm Isa, a recent college grad (and dog mom!). I've cared for large dogs all my life, from hyper puppies to seniors with special accommodations. I care deeply about providing the best possible care and attention to your pet/s, I'm flexible and honest, so feel free to reach out with specific requests! 🐕 🐾 Available in the evening Sun through Wed after 7pm; otherwise free for pet care Thurs through Sat. Scheduling in advance, when possible, is preferred. 😊 I am glad to walk your dog depending on their needs, regarding age, abilities, and breed size. Similarly, when housesitting, I try to mirror your typical routine as much as possible for your pet's comfort.
“Alani was extremely responsive and professional throughout the process. She sent frequent updates and provided excellent information after each check in. I will be requesting her first anytime I need pet sitting in the future, and I would highly recommend her to anyone reading this.”

“We were very pleased with Ryan's care of our 3 cats. They had playtime and love, plus Ryan followed our instructions to the letter. We came home to a tidy house, which we appreciated. Thanks, Ryan!”

“Jennifer took great care of our three kitties, and went above and beyond when it came to our senior diabetic cat having a litterbox issue. She provided us with photos and written updates for each visit. During our whole trip I never doubted that they were in good hands. We came back to happy, healthy cats!”

“Samantha is awesome with my pets. She has come by for last minute drop ins and has always been reliable, friendly, and kind. Would highly recommend her to watch your fur babies!”

“Ryan is fantastic, and I highly recommend him. He came over for a meet in-advance, and said/did a lot to help us feel confident in hiring him. He was prompt, clearly loved our dog, played with her a lot, and took great pics (it helps that we have a gorgeous dog).”

“Jaeda did a great job with our golden retriever. She knew just how to manage him on his walks and provided him with lots of petting, as well as playtime. She followed our directions thoroughly and took initiative with providing him with longer walks to calm his energy. She has a natural and caring temperament which really made him feel comfortable.”

“As a first time puppy owner, finding the right person to watch your fur baby is nerve wrecking. Riley was amazing!! She provided in-home daycare for our pup and kept up with his routine. She sent pics and videos of him and he seemed so happy. I’ll definitely be booking her again to watch or furry friend.”

About: I have had pets since I was 8 years old, different breeds mostly my own but have taken care of neighbors and family. pets I have taken care of all different kinds of breeds and sizes. I am fully retired beside obligations at church 3 days a week I'm available even those three days but only can accommodate after 12pm hours. there are two cats in the home never go outside, they are very spoiled and much love attended to them I was raised to love and respect all kinds of animals and now at the age 70 I still hold the values that my Daddy told us girls do not mistreat an animal.
About: I have been dogsitting, catsitting, and housesitting since I could drive. I am very consistent with young, old, and special needs pets. I have a standard poodle with oodles of energy at home and two cats. I have a regular work schedule and a lot of extra time to spend on my pets and yours. I love spending time outside, training, and playing with dogs. I seem to have more energy than my poodle, who often needs a nap break from me… Therefore it is very easy for me to prioritize spending time with and taking care of your pet! I have a large fenced in yard and a crate trained, high energy poodle at home. They can play or be easily kept separate. In your home, I would be as respectful and tidy as if it were mine.
About: I have had pets since I was young, and until I had to move away for college I was the primary care giver for both a cat and a dog. I loved ensuring that my pets were happy and healthy. My top priority will always be the comfort of you and your pets, no matter the service. I will always put your pets needs first.

About: I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who enjoys making pups feel safe, comfortable and loved. I have experience caring for my neighbor and brother’s dogs while they’re away, including feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention! Due to the offseason of baseball, I have a flexible schedule and can work from home as needed. This allows me to be available throughout the day for necessary pet care. I am available weekends. I am happy to work around your pet’s routine and needs. My schedule also makes it easier to accommodate different drop-off, pick ups, and care times. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, relaxed, and at home. I provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment while giving each pet plenty of attention, care, and supervision. As a owner of 4 cats and 1 dog, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry friend, and I’ll treat your pet with the same care and respect that I give my own!
“I am a return customer. I made a mistake and missed the window to review on her previous visit, so I had to make sure to tell you guys how Jules is awesome. My dogs love her. Jules followed the instructions on feeding them perfectly so it’s like I never left. It’s so peaceful knowing my dogs are in good reliable care. I tell my friends to Book Jules.”

“I booked Janine to take care of my cat this past weekend but had some unexpected logistical issues on my end that required me to make several last-minute updates to my booking (changing check-in times, etc). Janine was patient with my modification requests and always responded quickly to my questions. I highly recommend Janine. Thank you, Janine!”

“Haile responded on very short notice and was great with my cat, Joseph. She sent photos and updates which made me feel very comfortable and gave me peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend her to anybody looking for a sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Granite
I’m not even sure where to start, Erin was AMAZING! We had an issue with the door handle that she took care of, the dogs had a rough day and she handled it, she got my mail, and even cleaned up some dog hair! One of our pups decided to go on a hunger strike and she got him eating again by hand feeding him! I would not hesitate for a second to have her back! She was the best and I highly recommend her!

She took great care of my kitties for one week. They got used to her visits by the end of the week and came out when she came in! Maybe it was the treats she would give? 😻😻😻 Jennifer also got the mail for me while I was gone. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
