About: My name is Sue, and I recently graduated from college. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and home! Long time pet lover and clean freak. I provide tidying services to those who ask! Placing rates low as I’m new to the platform! Book me, leave me a review, and we’ll do a lifetime of low rates! I work Monday-Thursday 10-7, but in a position where I can check on pets intermittently! The rest of the week I am all yours. I grew up with my dog Oakley, and have long pet sat/dog walked in my area. I additionally provide tidying services to those who ask. I am an animal lover and strong communicator!
“Magda did twice a day drop in visits with our four cats for just over a week. Everything was taken care of smoothly. Any questions were communicated immediately. Came home to happy kitties and clean litter boxes.”

“As always, another great booking with Destiny! The photos and communication updates made all the difference in my trip, giving me peace of mind and the reassurance that my fur babies are in good hands.”

“So appreciative of Cassidy taking care of our dog and cat while we were away. She took such good care of them, sent pictures, and communicated with us after her visits. It was a very positive experience, and we will call on Cassidy again in the future when we need someone to take great care of our pets.”

“Jaeda did a great job with our golden retriever. She knew just how to manage him on his walks and provided him with lots of petting, as well as playtime. She followed our directions thoroughly and took initiative with providing him with longer walks to calm his energy. She has a natural and caring temperament which really made him feel comfortable.”

“I do not have the easiest cats. One is super shy and the other just tolerates people. Amanda did a great job with them! She patiently coaxed my shy one out and even got my standoffish one to play. She sent video snippets that showed they were happy and well taken care of. Thank you, Amanda!!”

About: I'm a certified cat lady with a great understanding and love of our doggo friends too. 10+ years of experience living with and caring for dogs and cats. Our dogs always seek me out for walks because they find walks with me so fun! I have great skill dealing with special needs pets: administering medications (like giving my diabetic cat insulin shots), and reading pet body language to meet their comfort needs. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in and play with your pups and/or kitties! I'm available on weekends at 11am or later. Since our home is already full of cats and a dog, I am only offering services at clients homes or dog walking at this time. I will start each session by patiently gaining trust with your pet, with gentle greetings and allowing them to get comfortable first. Please include any special needs for pet care when reaching out.
“Xin is beyond amazing. She cared for my 2 kittens as if they were her own. She’s wonderful with them, shared lots of pics and updates and they loved her. It was clear they were in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. Highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“I’m not even sure where to start, Erin was AMAZING! We had an issue with the door handle that she took care of, the dogs had a rough day and she handled it, she got my mail, and even cleaned up some dog hair! One of our pups decided to go on a hunger strike and she got him eating again by hand feeding him! I would not hesitate for a second to have her back! She was the best and I highly recommend her!”

“Lingli is very professional and punctual. She checked in on my fur babies with little notice over a busy holiday weekend. Will definitely be using her again in the future”

“Alena is very attentive to all special request and handled my large dogs excellently! It is clear she loves dogs and I would highly recommend her for care for any of your furry friends!”

About: I’ve always been the go-to person for family and friends when it comes to caring for their pets, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a gentler pace. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for, whether that’s going for a long walk, playing, or just keeping them company. What sets me apart is the way I treat every pet like my own — I pay attention to their routines, personalities, and little quirks so they feel safe and happy while you’re away. As a student with a part-time job, I keep a balanced schedule that still gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m usually available mornings, evenings, and weekends, which works great for walks, drop-ins, or just spending extra time with pets. I make sure to plan ahead so their care always comes first. I know how important it is to feel confident your pet is safe and cared for. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I keep their environment comfortable, clean, and secure. I follow your pet’s routine closely, from feeding schedules to walks, and I always pay attention to details like keeping doors and gates shut. Most importantly, I give each pet the same patience and love I give my own, so you can trust they’re in good hands.
About: Hi! My name is Andrew. I’m a nurse working in critical care and behavioral health settings. I hold bachelors degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and I’m pursuing my long term goal of becoming a DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I joined rover as a way to make additional income and prevent burnout by picking extra nursing shifts. I have firsthand experience caring for dogs, having a golden doodle myself. I understand the responsibility that comes with being entrusted with a pet. From daily walks and feeding schedules to playing, companionship, and providing a safe environment, I treat every pet with the same attention and care as I would show my dog. I work as a nurse on a predictable schedule, which allows me to plan pet care around my days off. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. I have a golden doodle and understand the importance of regular walks, exercise, attention, and maintaining a pets routine. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine for every pet. As a nurse and dog owner, I’m dependable, attentive, and detail oriented. I follow all owner instructions, provide plenty of care and attention, and keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.

Ryan is amazing. Conscientious, attentive, caring, highly communicative. Ryan spent all summer coming to our house 1 sometimes 2x a day to let our 8 week old puppy out. With ever changing rules about puppy freedom activities with our VERY energetic older golden, she always asked what she could and couldn't let them do. I would hire Ryam 100x over she is amazing. 100/10. No notes.

Brent took great care of our dogs while we were away. He was reliable, communicated well, and made sure they were happy and well cared for. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. We really appreciated his help and would definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!

Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. She also went above and beyond and even did some cleaning so when we got home from vacation, we had nothing to worry about!! I cannot recommend Rowyn more highly! Thank you Rowyn for giving us so much peace of mind while away!! Will absolutely book with Rowyn again in the future!

Sylvia was great and took wonderful care of our dog, Orion. She asked lost of questions and made sure she understood everything my about how to best care for him. She was trustworthy and forthcoming about everything that occurred while we were away. I would absolutely recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
