About: I've had family dogs for 13 years, but started taking care of some of my neighbors' dogs 5 years ago, whether it be taking them for potty breaks or staying over at their house to give them attentive care. I work part time at a pet boarding place as a kennel tech, so I have lots of experience with many different breeds and temperaments of both cats and dogs. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, from Yorkie to Saint Bernard, and have lots of experience caring for both puppies and senior pets that might need more rigorous attention. I will be working part-time this summer, meaning that on the occasional days I work, I am available any time before 8am and then after 1-2pm. I can still stay over with your pet any day, that just means that on workdays, I would feed and walk them (And any other things necessary) before 8am, and then have to leave for work and then come back at 1-2. Whenever I am not actively at work, I can spend all my time caring for your pets! I am experienced at reading pet body language and adapting to how they respond. I am very communicative and will send lots of updates about your pet, including daily pictures of your fur babies! I can supply treats (with your approval) and can take them to parks and other places for walks, as I have a car and license. I'm dedicated to making sure your animal is as happy as can be :-)

“Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. She also went above and beyond and even did some cleaning so when we got home from vacation, we had nothing to worry about!! I cannot recommend Rowyn more highly! About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 8 years now with plenty of experience with most breeds, ages, and personalities! Coming from a family with 5 dogs, I have plenty of experience with handling multiple dogs schedules, feeding times, and medications. I also have plenty of experience with puppies, as well as senior dogs! I walk about 4-5 miles daily, so I am always active and ready to play with your pup! I have a true passion and love for dogs and want to share that to help others! :) I am currently working part time at a restaurant and med spa, so my schedule is very flexible and I’m able to travel and do overnight stays! I have a fenced in backyard with one mini dachshund at home. I am able to come to your house or bring a dog to me!

“Destiny was great with our two kitties! She did several drop ins while we were out of town and she cleaned litter and food well, as well as our kittie water fountain. She even picked up some stuff the kitties had knocked over and let us know where she put it. Additionally, she tried to befriend our shy kittie, and even though he didn't want to come out it was nice that she kept checking on him!”

I am an incoming grad student for fall and have the summer off so am very open during the weekdays and can accommodate most schedules.
