About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart! With over 10 years of professional dog-sitting experience, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your beloved furry family member. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, providing plenty of love, attention, cuddles, and personalized care. My goal is to make sure your pup feels happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether you’re heading out for the day or enjoying a well-deserved vacation, you can relax knowing your four-legged family member is in loving, experienced hands. **Your peace of mind and your pup’s happiness are always my top priority! 🐶💕** My schedule is very flexible so it’s easy for me to be there for your dog. I take dogs on several walks a day, giving them a chance to go potty and enjoy playing with them to make sure they feel loved and secure while they’re with me. You can bring your dog’s favorite toys or blankets, however we have everything your dog would need to feel at home with me. I wash everything after each visit to make sure all of my things are clean for the next fur baby. I have food and water bowls, toys, beds, blankets, crates and even leashes. I want to make it as convenient as possible for you while ensuring your dog is comfortable with me. A typical day for us is getting up early and taking your dog for an early walk. Feed him or her breakfast. Go for several walks throughout the day and spend lots of time playing and cuddling. Feed him or her dinner and end the day by going for a long walk after dinner and cuddle watching tv. Because we live on a 600 acre property, safety is our top priority. When we are taking walks with your dog, we will take every precaution necessary to ensure your dog is safe.

About: Hi! My name is Andrew. I’m a nurse working in critical care and behavioral health settings. I hold bachelors degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and I’m pursuing my long term goal of becoming a DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I joined rover as a way to make additional income and prevent burnout by picking extra nursing shifts. I have firsthand experience caring for dogs, having a golden doodle myself. I understand the responsibility that comes with being entrusted with a pet. From daily walks and feeding schedules to playing, companionship, and providing a safe environment, I treat every pet with the same attention and care as I would show my dog. I work as a nurse on a predictable schedule, which allows me to plan pet care around my days off. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I’ve had multiple dogs that I’ve raised from puppies into adulthood. So I have experience with every age of dog I can give medication like it’s nobody’s business. I can also handle a puppy. I’m currently working part-time at a restaurant so I either work in the morning or in the afternoon so it gives me plenty of time to be with your dog and give them lots of love I have been dog sitting since four years and have always stayed at a person‘s house. I am a bit of a neat freak so I always clean and can promise that you will come back to a clean house.

About: Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections I’m currently a stay at home mom and almost always home so your dog will never be left alone for long periods of time!! My 5 year old is great with dogs and will give your animals plenty of love and attention!!! We have a large fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run! Your dog will be let out frequently and get plenty of exercise!! I try and take the dogs for a long walk at least once a day. Your dog will have free roam of the house, but we are more than happy to crate if you provide one. Our dogs eat in the am and pm, however we can accommodate your dogs feeding schedule.

About: Friendly and trustworthy home. I’ve had pets since I was a kid and taken care of them since age 12, as well as family and friends pets. I am currently working full time from home with a slower work load, so I have plenty of time to spend working and playing with the pets. I do have about two acres of land which is unfenced. I live in a large quiet neighborhood which is great for long walks. Unless house trained, the dogs can be crated.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for about 7-10 years. Helping out friends and family, along with animals of my own. Each animal offers a unique experience! I’m currently studying for my NCE looking to make extra money while spending time with animals. Flexible schedule and willing to accommodate when needed. I am not able to bring animals to my house. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and currently my parents will leave their dogs in my care when they go out of town. I also used to watch my friend’s dogs in college whenever they needed to go home! One of my favorite things to do in college was to walk the dogs at the humane society and we even had an event to walk dogs with other people in greek life on campus! I am very flexible when it comes to routine, i would structure my schedule around what you would prefer! I am able to do weekdays and weekends! I walk my dogs in the early morning but I would able to adjust based on your personal schedule! Pets are a part of a family! I would take the best care i could to make sure they are happy and healthy throughout the time they are in my care!

About: Starting at the age of 11 up to today I have been trusted to take care, bathe and feed animals in my neighborhood, friends and family. I’m well at observing and giving medication if needed for older pets but also can be playful and help with the puppies/kittens as well! I currently work at an animal hospital which helps in my knowledge of feeding and taking care of pets. I work part time, mainly mornings but I’m willing to work around that if needed. I am available on weekends and holidays to take care of your pets needs. I can usually make something work around my schedule. At my house, there is acres of land and space.
