This was our first time leaving Benny with someone else (we were away six days) so we were already a bit on edge; Sriju put us at ease immediately. Everyday while we were gone Sriju sent texts and pictures (usually once in AM and once in PM). She took Benny on numerous walks throughout the day as well as to the dog park. She adjusted to his needs, not the other way around, and provided an atmosphere that made Benny completely comfortable, as evidenced by his affection toward her when it was time to pick him up upon our return. About: I've had family dogs for 13 years, but started taking care of some of my neighbors' dogs 5 years ago, whether it be taking them for potty breaks or staying over at their house to give them attentive care. I work part time at a pet boarding place as a kennel tech, so I have lots of experience with many different breeds and temperaments of both cats and dogs. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, from Yorkie to Saint Bernard, and have lots of experience caring for both puppies and senior pets that might need more rigorous attention. I will be working part-time this summer, meaning that on the occasional days I work, I am available any time before 8am and then after 1-2pm. I can still stay over with your pet any day, that just means that on workdays, I would feed and walk them (And any other things necessary) before 8am, and then have to leave for work and then come back at 1-2. Whenever I am not actively at work, I can spend all my time caring for your pets! I am experienced at reading pet body language and adapting to how they respond. I am very communicative and will send lots of updates about your pet, including daily pictures of your fur babies! Apparently my dog displayed anxious behaviors he has never displayed before in his 4 years of rover daycares but I think it just wasn’t the best fit.
