About: I'm a certified cat lady with a great understanding and love of our doggo friends too. 10+ years of experience living with and caring for dogs and cats. Our dogs always seek me out for walks because they find walks with me so fun! I have great skill dealing with special needs pets: administering medications (like giving my diabetic cat insulin shots), and reading pet body language to meet their comfort needs. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to check in and play with your pups and/or kitties! I'm available on weekends at 11am or later. Since our home is already full of cats and a dog, I am only offering services at clients homes or dog walking at this time. I will start each session by patiently gaining trust with your pet, with gentle greetings and allowing them to get comfortable first. Please include any special needs for pet care when reaching out.

About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

About: I’m an experienced animal caretaker comfortable with pets of all species, ages, temperaments, and care needs. My background includes training challenging dogs, caring for neonatal kittens, mucking stalls, administering IV fluids, raising poultry and small animals, and over 20 years of experience with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I’m confident with special-needs pets, unusual animals, and complicated routines—and I’ll care for every animal with patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I work a standard 8 am - 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available to care for boarded animals in the morning before I leave and in the evenings when I return from work in those days, with the same diligence and love I give my own animals. For all other days, I am either off or working from home and I am generally available to provide care. If I am visiting your home, I would like to have a meet and greet with you and your animals before you head out of town to establish their normal schedules and routines. During appointments, I will give your animals the same love and care that I give my own. If you are scheduling to have an animal boarded, your animal(s) will be given their own room separate from other animals in the house, with direct access to a large, fenced-in yard, their own beds and towels, and constant access to water. Walks, treats, meals, and medications will be given on an agreed upon schedule. Potty breaks will occur no less than once in the morning, once before and after dinner, and once before bedtime. I do not accept outside bedding and all guests must be up to date on vaccines and treated for fleas and ticks prior to boarding.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had cats throughout my life and have also had the joy of caring for a dog. I truly enjoy the companionship that pets bring and love giving them plenty of attention, affection, and care. Now that my kids are grown and out of the house, I have more time to spend doing something I genuinely enjoy! Being around animals! I’d love to spoil your pets with love, playtime, walks, and lots of attention while you’re away. My goal is to make your pets feel comfortable, happy, and cared for just like they were at home. I can stop in before and after work. Or I can stay at your house. I work a 9-5 weekdays. I am available also on weekends. I will follow your expectations while sitting for your pets in your home. I will make sure the home remains pet safe. Making sure your pets environment is safe before leaving them. I will give them lots of attention and playtime.

She communicated with me each time she came for a visit and provided photos of whichever cats she saw (several usually stayed hidden, but she did see all 6 at one time or another). She also kept me appraised of a couple of instances where she had to make visits outside of the normal visit time frames, due to circumstances beyond her control and she also made sure to leave out extra food when the time between visits would be longer than normal. We would certainly love to have Elizabeth be our pet sitter again, if we have any need for a sitter in the future.”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover! I am 24 and have taken care of dogs my whole life! Growing up, we always had at least 2-4 dogs in our home at all times, all different breeds and sizes. We treat dogs like children in my family :) I work a hybrid job in office Monday-Wednesday so my availability is mainly Thursday-Sunday. Week days I am available to do visits throughout the day and weekends my availability is very open. I am very good at following directions and I can ensure I will keep your pets safe and do anything I can to make this experience as comfortable as possible!

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals and I would like to expand my services more to those in need. I have worked with large dog breeds (I have two great danes at home), cats, and smaller critters like bunnies. I want you and your pet to feel safe with me. I let animals get to know me first so I know they are comfortable with someone new entering their safe space. I don't like to pressure them into affection when they are not showing they want it or seem stressed. In a case like that I tend to just stay in one spot and let them observe, relax, and come closer when they feel safe to do so. I currently attend community college part time and work part time on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and Monday mornings. My college schedule only had me going in person on Wednesdays from 12:30pm to 4:10pm and Fridays from 9:30am to 1:10pm. I do have an online class, but that one is a little more flexible on where and when to finish those assignments. As semesters change, I will do my best to update my schedule availability. If there are any further questions or concerns please don't hesitate to let me know! In my own home, I make sure that my own dogs have been fed in the mornings and evenings. Throughout the day I check to make sure their water is at a good level and that it is fresh and slobber free, especially during those hot months. I make sure to let them out every few hours so they can get some well deserved play time. I love to play with them, and we had adopted one of them as a puppy and I got to see him grow up.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for about 7-10 years. Helping out friends and family, along with animals of my own. Each animal offers a unique experience! I’m currently studying for my NCE looking to make extra money while spending time with animals. Flexible schedule and willing to accommodate when needed. I am not able to bring animals to my house. I hold bachelors degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and I’m pursuing my long term goal of becoming a DNP Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner. I joined rover as a way to make additional income and prevent burnout by picking extra nursing shifts. I have firsthand experience caring for dogs, having a golden doodle myself. I understand the responsibility that comes with being entrusted with a pet. From daily walks and feeding schedules to playing, companionship, and providing a safe environment, I treat every pet with the same attention and care as I would show my dog. I work as a nurse on a predictable schedule, which allows me to plan pet care around my days off. As a dog owner myself, caring for animals is already part of my daily routine. I have a golden doodle and understand the importance of regular walks, exercise, attention, and maintaining a pets routine. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine for every pet. As a nurse and dog owner, I’m dependable, attentive, and detail oriented. I follow all owner instructions, provide plenty of care and attention, and keep owners updated with photos and messages for peace of mind.
