Information Michelle P. would like to know about your pet

I love pitbulls and prefer medium to larger dogs and especially adults who are comfortable being on their own during the day. While there is an adult in the house almost all the time, I do not offer 24 hr constant care, with few limited exceptions.

A typical day

Ours is a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac, away from main roads. There is minimal traffic and wide streets with sidewalk on either side. We walk as needed for each pet or we can hang out in the fenced-in yard, playing and gardening together.

Pet care experience

Welcome! Our home is a peaceful, low-key retreat perfect for gentle, easy-going dogs who prefer thoughtful playtime in the yard and cuddling on the couch to running a marathon. We specialize in providing a calm, enriching environment where your best friend will receive dedicated, one-on-one attention. For the health and safety of all our furry guests, we do require visiting pets to be up-to-date on their vaccinations. As a former veterinary technician with years of dog training experience, I'm uniquely equipped to provide the specialized care your pet deserves. Our Low-Stress Environment is Ideal For: Adult and senior dogs of all sizes up to large size. Dogs who are couch potatoes at heart. Pets requiring medication or special diets (including raw feeding). Dogs with behavioral quirks who need a patient, understanding host. Guests who prefer to be the only dog in the home. Your Pet's Stay Includes: Expert Care: All medications (pills, injections, etc.) are included at no extra charge. Enrichment & Play: We focus on positive, motivational activities, yard play, and indoor enrichment rather than strenuous exercise. A Pet-Friendly Home: Our house has easy-to-clean surfaces, comfy leather couches for lounging, and a secure, 5'+ solid-fenced organic yard. For extra safety, we have a double-door system leading outside. Comforts of Home: We provide toys, treats, stainless steel bowls, and slow feeders, but you are always welcome to bring your pet's favorite comforts. My Experience & Philosophy My background is rooted in a deep love and understanding of dogs. My beloved Shiloh Shepherds and I were once active in everything from search and rescue to agility. That extensive experience in the world of dog sports taught me the power of positive reinforcement and motivational training, a philosophy I apply to every pet I care for. It's all about building trust and making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. (And I'm especially partial to the pitbull breed!) Logistics Household: We have no children and few visitors, ensuring a quiet environment. While I work during the day, my mother is home to provide midday potty breaks and companionship, so your pet is rarely alone. Drop-off/Pick-up: Weekday drop-off is typically after 6:30 pm. We can be flexible, so let's chat! Meet & Greet: I require a brief meet-and-greet with all new clients to ensure we are the perfect fit for your pet's needs and personality. My services are not a business but a heartfelt expression of my love for our best friends. I offer a 10% discount for rescue dogs and donate a portion of my proceeds to animal rescues. I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful companion!

Our pup who has separation anxiety had a great stay with Michelle. She was very thorough in getting all information about our dog so that she can provide personalized and the best care. We received plenty of pictures and communication. Would definitely book with her again

Michelle did a great job learning Lola’s cues and personality. Lola had a great time and we felt that she was very well taken care of! We would definitely use Michelle again.

Michelle is a fantastic and attentive babysitter for our dog Rocky. Rocky says she is the best and will want to go back and stay with Michelle again. Rocky likes how Michelle spoiled him with walks, treats, scratches, and snuggles. Great experience for Rocky. Thank you Michelle for your superior car of Rocky, we appreciate you 🐶

Michelle and her mom, Maria, took such great care of Boh. They allowed him to make himself right at home. I know he was taken great care of and was loved in our absence. Michelle provided daily check in's with photos and was highly communicative throughout our trip. I would recommend Michelle to anyone. Michelle and her mom are wonderful and kind people.
