About: I’m an experienced animal caretaker comfortable with pets of all species, ages, temperaments, and care needs. My background includes training challenging dogs, caring for neonatal kittens, mucking stalls, administering IV fluids, raising poultry and small animals, and over 20 years of experience with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I’m confident with special-needs pets, unusual animals, and complicated routines—and I’ll care for every animal with patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I work a standard 8 am - 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available to care for boarded animals in the morning before I leave and in the evenings when I return from work in those days, with the same diligence and love I give my own animals. For all other days, I am either off or working from home and I am generally available to provide care. If I am visiting your home, I would like to have a meet and greet with you and your animals before you head out of town to establish their normal schedules and routines. During appointments, I will give your animals the same love and care that I give my own. If you are scheduling to have an animal boarded, your animal(s) will be given their own room separate from other animals in the house, with direct access to a large, fenced-in yard, their own beds and towels, and constant access to water. Walks, treats, meals, and medications will be given on an agreed upon schedule. Potty breaks will occur no less than once in the morning, once before and after dinner, and once before bedtime. I do not accept outside bedding and all guests must be up to date on vaccines and treated for fleas and ticks prior to boarding.

Elizabeth did an excellent job taking care of our 6 cats while we were gone for 8 days. She communicated with me each time she came for a visit and provided photos of whichever cats she saw (several usually stayed hidden, but she did see all 6 at one time or another). She also kept me appraised of a couple of instances where she had to make visits outside of the normal visit time frames, due to circumstances beyond her control and she also made sure to leave out extra food when the time between visits would be longer than normal. We would certainly love to have Elizabeth be our pet sitter again, if we have any need for a sitter in the future.
Lora was absolutely amazing. She kept in touch the entire time I was away, sending updates and pictures that gave me total peace of mind. I was gone for four days and never once worried about my pets. Dexter, Stark, and Hydro looked happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. It made it easy to enjoy my trip knowing they were in such good hands.

Jaime is a wonderful, caring pet sitter! We really believe she is a cat whisperer! Not just because she is so attentive to our 3 rescue cats, but we were amazed our cat Fearless who suffers from PTSD actually came out (he usually hides from everyone) and she was able to pet him and give him pet treats! Even our skittish cat Rudy let her pet him. Our siamese Louie, who loves everybody, languished in her attention. The pictures we recieved from Jaimee while she did her drop ins and her texts and communications with us made us feel happy and relaxed that we left our boys in good hands and could enjoy our time away. But the response our kitties had towards her truly amazed us. She really has a way with cats for sure! This was our first time using Rover and it did not disappoint! sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
