About: Hi! I am new to Rover! I am 24 and have taken care of dogs my whole life! Growing up, we always had at least 2-4 dogs in our home at all times, all different breeds and sizes. We treat dogs like children in my family :) I work a hybrid job in office Monday-Wednesday so my availability is mainly Thursday-Sunday. Week days I am available to do visits throughout the day and weekends my availability is very open. About: I've taken care of all types of animals since I was 12. I've cared for lots of cats, my own dog, fish, guinea pigs, and snakes. I have the most experience with cats but I love all animals. I have the most experience dachshunds as I’ve learned how to personalize care for the breed of dog. Pet care is something I do outside of my normal 8-4 weekday. I unfortunately am in office M-F. I am able to do care for pet parents whose pets are able to be cared under that schedule. However, weekends are free! About: I've volunteered at my local animal shelter since I was 11 years old! When I turned 16, I was able to socialize with cats at the shelter, and when I turned 18, I started walking dogs at the shelter. Now I am certified to walk dogs of any difficulty level! These dogs range from puppies to seniors and some have had various behavioral challenges that I navigated safely and respectfully. Elizabeth did an excellent job taking care of our 6 cats while we were gone for 8 days. She communicated with me each time she came for a visit and provided photos of whichever cats she saw (several usually stayed hidden, but she did see all 6 at one time or another). She also kept me appraised of a couple of instances where she had to make visits outside of the normal visit time frames, due to circumstances beyond her control and she also made sure to leave out extra food when the time between visits would be longer than normal. We would certainly love to have Elizabeth be our pet sitter again, if we have any need for a sitter in the future.
Jaime is a wonderful, caring pet sitter! We really believe she is a cat whisperer! Not just because she is so attentive to our 3 rescue cats, but we were amazed our cat Fearless who suffers from PTSD actually came out (he usually hides from everyone) and she was able to pet him and give him pet treats! Even our skittish cat Rudy let her pet him. Our siamese Louie, who loves everybody, languished in her attention. The pictures we recieved from Jaimee while she did her drop ins and her texts and communications with us made us feel happy and relaxed that we left our boys in good hands and could enjoy our time away. But the response our kitties had towards her truly amazed us. She really has a way with cats for sure! This was our first time using Rover and it did not disappoint!
