She communicated with me each time she came for a visit and provided photos of whichever cats she saw (several usually stayed hidden, but she did see all 6 at one time or another). She also kept me appraised of a couple of instances where she had to make visits outside of the normal visit time frames, due to circumstances beyond her control and she also made sure to leave out extra food when the time between visits would be longer than normal. We would certainly love to have Elizabeth be our pet sitter again, if we have any need for a sitter in the future.”

About: I have had pets since I was 8 years old, different breeds mostly my own but have taken care of neighbors and family. pets I have taken care of all different kinds of breeds and sizes. I am fully retired beside obligations at church 3 days a week I'm available even those three days but only can accommodate after 12pm hours. there are two cats in the home never go outside, they are very spoiled and much love attended to them I was raised to love and respect all kinds of animals and now at the age 70 I still hold the values that my Daddy told us girls do not mistreat an animal.

“I was away for 10 days, Liz was incredibly respectful of my space and took amazing care of my Layla making sure she was fed, snuggled, and entertained. Layla never does well with new people but somehow Liz’s amazing presence was an exception. When I got home, she had fully cleaned the apartment making it look as though I never left, if not better than when I left it. She made sure to keep me updated with EVERYTHING, sending me pictures and videos so I knew Layla was doing good. She also responded very quickly every time which lifted all my stress off of me as it was my first time leaving my apartment in the hands of a sitter. As a first timer on Rover, Liz well exceeded my expectations and I will definitely choose her in the future when I go on more trips!”

About: With over seven years of petsitting experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to animal care. I have previously worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, managing dogs of all temperaments. At home, I care for a dog, two cats, and a goat, giving me a unique perspective on different animals' needs. Since I have pets at home, I try to avoid overnight stays when possible. That being said, if it is an emergency I would be happy to work something out with you! I do not offer in home petsitting. However, to ensure your pets safety I will take all measures necessary including ensuring all doors are properly closed and locked, following all directions left for me to a T, etc.

When I turned 16, I was able to socialize with cats at the shelter, and when I turned 18, I started walking dogs at the shelter. Now I am certified to walk dogs of any difficulty level! These dogs range from puppies to seniors and some have had various behavioral challenges that I navigated safely and respectfully. I pride myself on my developed knowledge of animal behavior to continue to be a pet concierge for clients. I'm currently working part-time as a bartender, so I am very flexible to fit pet care into my schedule. If a client is more than 20 minutes from my residence, I prefer to do overnight care with the pet(s) to ensure they're getting the socialization and adequate care they deserve. I always ask the clients what their pet needs in all aspects of pet care, including medications, enrichment methods (treats, toys, Kongs), walk frequency and duration, feed time, and amount of food. The client always knows their pet best, so I base my care on their recommendations. I also always take pictures of the pet(s) and send them to the client to keep them posted on how the pet(s) are doing!

That includes feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any medications or special care they may need. I make sure to keep your home tidy and treat it with the same respect I would my own.

About: I grew up with and surrounded by pets and have been helping pet sit for family, friends, and neighbors since I was 8 years old! While I do have a full time job, I have plenty of time to spare to watch and care for your pets over the weekends! I live in an apartment, so while I don’t have a fenced yard, my complex has a large dog park for plenty of exercise and playtime. For cats, my apartment has lots of space to roam, cozy hiding spots, and even a cat tree for climbing and relaxing!

“Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. She also went above and beyond and even did some cleaning so when we got home from vacation, we had nothing to worry about!! I cannot recommend Rowyn more highly!
