“Tracie, thank you so much! We came home to a neat and clean home and you took such good care of Jinx. Thank you for going above and beyond! I hope we can rely on your again in the future!”

“Riley was great!! I recommend her to help you with your pet needs! She was great with feeding and medication administration and everything else with my Schweet babe needed!”

“Ryan is fantastic, and I highly recommend him. He came over for a meet in-advance, and said/did a lot to help us feel confident in hiring him. He was prompt, clearly loved our dog, played with her a lot, and took great pics (it helps that we have a gorgeous dog).”

“Jason was very punctual and responsible with taking care of our two cats. He always sent us pictures and this was reassuring as we were so far away! We will definitely be using Jason again!”

“Cheryl took care of out high maintenance pup, Gus, for a few hours today for the first time. They were fast friends! Gus is still working on not freaking out when left alone and he showed no signs of stress when left with Cheryl. Cheryl was great about understanding Gus's ways (and rules) and engaging with him. He was happy and calm when we returned (and tired as a bonus!). We plan on booking Cheryl whenever we need to be away.”

“Emma was my first Rover sitter and I will absolutely hire her again, she was so sweet and my dog Cash adores her! She was prompt and sent me so many pictures and updates to ease my worries throughout the day. I can’t recommend her enough :)”

“Aye always does an amazing job with my cats. Both cats are very shy and anxious, but they seem to be super comfortable with Aye and even willing to be given their meds. I can 100% recommend to anyone else looking for a cat sitter.”

“Maria is a life saver. I have an 18-year-old cat with renal issues that prevent him from using the litter box and require twice-daily medication—managing him takes real dedication and skill. When my in-home sitter canceled at the last minute, Maria stepped in at exactly the right moment. What impressed me most was how she approached the first meeting. She asked thoughtful, analytical questions that made it clear she understood what my cat actually needed. I could tell immediately that her combination of careful attention and genuine love for animals was exactly what I was looking for. I booked her for 10 daily drop-in visits, and she delivered flawlessly. She followed every instruction precisely and problem-solved on her own when needed. What made the experience even better were her daily card comments—her whimsical, fun writing style made me feel like I was right there with her, which kept me calm and connected the whole time. More than that—she's rebuilt my confidence. We'd stopped traveling after his diagnosis last year. Thanks to Maria, I can finally travel again knowing my boy is in genuinely capable, caring hands. I 100% recommend her without hesitation. She's now my go-to person, and I have no doubt she can handle whatever your pet needs.”

“Isabella is amazing! She was so good and patient with our active sometimes hyper boy King. She is so professional, courteous, communicative and reliable! She really put our mind at ease while we were away on vacation! I highly recommend her for all your pet needs! I would give her 10 stars if I could! Shes that great!”

“Trevor was absolutely wonderful! He put so much care into updating us and sending us photos! He made our cat very comfortable and was sure to play with her lots. He allowed us to enjoy our vacation without being anxious about her. Would absolutely have Trevor do drop in visit again!”

“Brian really came through for us at the last minute! Our usual house sitter had an emergency and had to leave two days before the end of our trip, and Brian jumped in to help even though he had never cat sit for us before. He was attentive to detail and kept us updated with pictures. Thanks again Brian you really saved our vacation!”

“Casie was patient with my rambunctious kitten and compassionate toward my older cat. She also made sure to document and update me daily. Her hard work allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation. I hope to work with her again for my next vacation.”

About: I've taken care of all types of animals since I was 12. I've cared for lots of cats, my own dog, fish, guinea pigs, and snakes. I have the most experience with cats but I love all animals. I have the most experience dachshunds as I’ve learned how to personalize care for the breed of dog. Pet care is something I do outside of my normal 8-4 weekday. I unfortunately am in office M-F. I am able to do care for pet parents whose pets are able to be cared under that schedule. However, weekends are free! Since I will not be caring for pets in my home, it will entirely rely on the rules of the client's household. Any rules that are there will be followed to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy. Along with your fur baby, I can water plants, take in mail, or accept packages.
About: I’ve spent eleven years as a go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and local clients. Whether it’s daily walks, or keeping up with feeding routines, I bring patience and enthusiasm to every job. I love making sure pets are content and stress-free while their owners are away. I work weekdays, so I’m available to pet sit in the evenings, on weekends, or on my days off, usually about twice a month on average I’m a careful and attentive pet sitter, always respecting each pet’s unique needs during walks and home visits. With confidence in caring for all types of animals, I ensure every pet feels safe and loved.

About: I’m taking a break from work to pass an exam. I now have all day availability and I adore dogs! I have grown up with dogs my entire life and now I have two of my own! I’ve helped out with Lab Rescue and I’m currently looking to help out with BARCS. I love dogs so much and I will treat them as part of my family! I have all day availability 8am through 10 pm. I’m very flexible and willing to work together to do what I can to make anything work! I will follow anything asked! If there are specific harnesses used, your dog is muzzle trained, etc.. I am willing to learn whatever I need to to keep your pet and everyone safe.
About: As a proud owner of 3 dogs and a cat, I will strive to make your pet feel like my own. Loved, cherished, and lots of belly rubs. Right now my only priority is to focus on my upcoming school year! Besides that I am free on weekdays and weekends. Day and night! I care for my dogs in my home by providing them with the enrichment they need. Whether that is playing tug of war or treat hide and seek!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Glyndon
Hannah was fabulous. Because I had a sick kitty, she came over twice to go over his medication so she was comfortable medicating Tribble. Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to Tribble (Rainbow Bridge) the day before I was to leave on vacation. She was great being flexible and sympathetic. My two remaining babies were well cared for. Hannah followed my "directions" perfectly and sent as many pix of my babies that I wanted. She even took pix of my shy baby under the bed where he was hiding! I would highly recommend Hannah for your pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Glyndon. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
