About: I’m an experienced animal caretaker comfortable with pets of all species, ages, temperaments, and care needs. My background includes training challenging dogs, caring for neonatal kittens, mucking stalls, administering IV fluids, raising poultry and small animals, and over 20 years of experience with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I’m confident with special-needs pets, unusual animals, and complicated routines—and I’ll care for every animal with patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I work a standard 8 am - 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available to care for boarded animals in the morning before I leave and in the evenings when I return from work in those days, with the same diligence and love I give my own animals. For all other days, I am either off or working from home and I am generally available to provide care. If I am visiting your home, I would like to have a meet and greet with you and your animals before you head out of town to establish their normal schedules and routines. During appointments, I will give your animals the same love and care that I give my own. If you are scheduling to have an animal boarded, your animal(s) will be given their own room separate from other animals in the house, with direct access to a large, fenced-in yard, their own beds and towels, and constant access to water. Walks, treats, meals, and medications will be given on an agreed upon schedule. Potty breaks will occur no less than once in the morning, once before and after dinner, and once before bedtime. I do not accept outside bedding and all guests must be up to date on vaccines and treated for fleas and ticks prior to boarding.
“Elizabeth did an excellent job taking care of our 6 cats while we were gone for 8 days. She communicated with me each time she came for a visit and provided photos of whichever cats she saw (several usually stayed hidden, but she did see all 6 at one time or another). She also kept me appraised of a couple of instances where she had to make visits outside of the normal visit time frames, due to circumstances beyond her control and she also made sure to leave out extra food when the time between visits would be longer than normal. We would certainly love to have Elizabeth be our pet sitter again, if we have any need for a sitter in the future.”

About: I've taken care of all types of animals since I was 12. I've cared for lots of cats, my own dog, fish, guinea pigs, and snakes. I have the most experience with cats but I love all animals. I have the most experience dachshunds as I’ve learned how to personalize care for the breed of dog. Pet care is something I do outside of my normal 8-4 weekday. I unfortunately am in office M-F. I am able to do care for pet parents whose pets are able to be cared under that schedule. However, weekends are free! Since I will not be caring for pets in my home, it will entirely rely on the rules of the client's household. Any rules that are there will be followed to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy. Along with your fur baby, I can water plants, take in mail, or accept packages.

“Rowyn was absolutely amazing!! I cannot say enough great things about her and her compassion, professionalism and how fantastic she was with my two almost 17 year old kitties! They require oral medication every day, which can be challenging, and on the first day, one was being difficult and refusing the medication, I had told her she could leave since she had already been there longer than the standard allotted drop-in visit time, but she was determined to make sure they both had their medication and was patient and stayed until they both finally took the medication. She absolutely went above and beyond, and was so attentive, so communicative and sent so many pictures! She always arrived on time, despite my saying the timing was flexible! She is someone we completely trusted with the care of our cats and also felt 100% comfortable coming and going from our house. About: With over seven years of petsitting experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to animal care. I have previously worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, managing dogs of all temperaments. At home, I care for a dog, two cats, and a goat, giving me a unique perspective on different animals' needs. Since I have pets at home, I try to avoid overnight stays when possible.
