Jason was great, in spite of Raven's stubbornness. I appreciated him coming by for a meet/greet prior to the scheduled day. Photos & updates were great

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 13 years and have 2 dogs of my own. I’ve rescued stray dogs off the street before and put them in a safe environment. I was once very active in helping animal shelter. A close friend of mine is a Veterinarian and had asked me to dog sit for her when she traveled, it was a pleasure to handle 5 dogs at a time at her house. I enjoy taking walks in nature with dogs. I can also take care of chickens, horse, rabbits, hamsters, and fish when you are away. I have plenty of time to play with your dog and take them on walks. My schedule is open daily and weekly routine as well once established. I love to give dog treats and play ball with them. Taking them on long walks. I can also give them a lot of petting for attention. I will take pictures for updates on their activity.

Would definitely recommend and choose Cheryl again! She walked and played with our high energy, 1 year old border heeler while we were away. We were at ease knowing he was with someone who could handle all of his wildness. Thanks again!

Above and beyond. While my girl Gemma was ready for her walk, my puppy Nico was very apprehensive it came time. Mike was super patient and understanding, taking extra time to win Nico over. This guy is who you want walking your anxious and nervous puppies! Definitely recommend, booking future walks now :)

Maria is amazing! She came to my rescue fairly last minute with a series of walks for my big ol AmStaff and Daisy loves her! She spent time loving in her every walk which was super sweet and even helped with clean up when my anxious pup had an accident on the carpet. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her(: Thank you, Maria!!

The walker was poised, confident and professional. Handled our strong 1.5 y.o pooch handily. Helpful to know he is a dog dad (2) and was able to do a “get acquainted “ meet before the job. We look forward to working with him again!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old, and I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. People have called me a “pet whisperer” because I have a calm, patient way of connecting with animals and earning their trust. I’m also physically strong and confident handling large, powerful, and energetic dogs, including dogs who need firm leash control, longer walks, structure, and plenty of activity. Safety, patience, and clear communication are always my priorities. I’m available 7 days a week and have a flexible schedule throughout the day. I can help with morning, afternoon, evening, and late-night care depending on your pet’s needs. Whether you need regular visits, last-minute help, walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I follow each client’s instructions closely and do my best to keep every pet’s routine consistent. I know every animal has their own personality and comfort level, so I take a patient, respectful approach to care. If your pet wants playtime, attention, or companionship, I’m happy to give that. If they are shy, anxious, independent, or simply prefer space, I’m just as comfortable keeping them company from a calm and safe distance. My goal is always to help your pet feel secure, respected, and well cared for.

About: With over six years of hands-on experience in dog sitting and walking, I provide dependable, compassionate care tailored to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring gentle attention and patience. My services include daily walks, feeding, administering basic medications, playtime, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I prioritize consistency, clear communication, and building trust not only with pets but also with their owners. Whether it’s a quick walk, extended sitting, or companionship throughout the day, I treat every dog like family—making sure they’re happy, active, and well cared for at all times. Your dog’s comfort, happiness, and well-being always come first. 🐶💛 Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine, and I structure my schedule to make sure each dog gets consistent, attentive care. On a daily basis, I plan my mornings and evenings around walks, feeding times, and check-ins. I make sure each dog gets the right balance of exercise, play, and rest depending on their energy level and needs. I also build in time for updates to pet owners, so they always know how their dog is doing. Throughout the week, I stay organized by scheduling regular walks and sitting visits in advance, while still allowing flexibility for last-minute requests when possible. I’m mindful of keeping a reliable routine for the dogs, because consistency helps them feel comfortable and secure. Overall, pet care isn’t something I squeeze in—it’s something I prioritize and intentionally plan my time around to ensure every pet receives dependable, loving attention. I provide personalized, attentive care whether pets are in my home or my client’s home. In my home, I maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while following each pet’s routine for feeding, walks, and playtime. In my client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal schedule to keep them comfortable and stress-free, while also respecting the space. No matter the setting, I focus on consistency, safety, and making sure every pet feels cared for and at ease.

About: I have owned dogs all my life all shapes and sizes. I have been trained and volunteer for MDSPCA and the Baltimore Humane Society. I believe it’s important that all dog’s feel loved and taken care of and are as much a family member as anyone else. I know how important interactive play is and enrichment. Keeping a dog in their own environment is best for their well being. Kennels can be very noisy and stressful to the average dog. I know as a pet owner myself having your dog with a trusted person is critical. I also have a medical background so I would be ready for any emergency., if it should arise. I have no Problem giving medication to your pet if needed I am recently retired and I am looking forward to devoting my time to caring for dogs. My schedule is very flexible and ready to start. I have a fenced in yard and have cared for dogs of all sizes. I make sure they are safe and loved and having fun..

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
