About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old, and I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. People have called me a “pet whisperer” because I have a calm, patient way of connecting with animals and earning their trust. I’m also physically strong and confident handling large, powerful, and energetic dogs, including dogs who need firm leash control, longer walks, structure, and plenty of activity. Safety, patience, and clear communication are always my priorities. In addition to the Rover Guarantee, I carry my own premium Pet Care/Liability Insurance for your peace of mind. I’m available 7 days a week and have a flexible schedule throughout the day. I can help with morning, afternoon, evening, and late-night care depending on your pet’s needs. Whether you need regular visits, last-minute help, walks, drop-ins, or extended care, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I follow each client’s instructions closely and do my best to keep every pet’s routine consistent. I know every animal has their own personality and comfort level, so I take a patient, respectful approach to care. If your pet wants playtime, attention, or companionship, I’m happy to give that. If they are shy, anxious, independent, or simply prefer space, I’m just as comfortable keeping them company from a calm and safe distance. My goal is always to help your pet feel secure, respected, and well cared for.
“The walker was poised, confident and professional. Handled our strong 1.5 y.o pooch handily. Helpful to know he is a dog dad (2) and was able to do a “get acquainted “ meet before the job. We look forward to working with him again!”

“Tracie is amazing. She has saved the day for me a few times already with last minute walks. She is wonderful with my dogs and always takes lots of pictures and gives them lots of love and attention!”

“Emily arrived on time and was so friendly and warm greeting Sadie. She definitely provided Sadie a great walk and rewarding experience. I would definitely use Emily again?”

“Brian was great! Super punctual and a true dog lover who was more than willing and able to handle some extra accommodations for our senior dog. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using him again!”

“Ryan was so attentive and went above and beyond for our leash-reactive pup on their twice-daily walks. He made us feel comfortable leaving the country and leaving our dog in someone else’s care.”

“Would definitely recommend and choose Cheryl again! She walked and played with our high energy, 1 year old border heeler while we were away. We were at ease knowing he was with someone who could handle all of his wildness. Thanks again!”

“Casie, is a joy to work with. She is always on time. She is so caring and loving with my puppy. I can tell she really cares. Will definitely continue to use her.”

“Christine was amazing! This was my first time using rover and I couldn’t be happier. She responded quickly and communicated well at every visit. She sent me pics of my pup on every walk and my mind was at ease knowing she was getting taken care of with lots of cuddles!”

“I needed a dog walker last minute & thank God Michael was available. He made sure my dog used the bathroom multiple times, sent a picture & returned him back, no problems. Will absolutely book again!”

“Maria was amazing! She accommodated my last minute request and was extremely understanding! Her communication was superb and my mom even added she had such a friendly face when first meeting. Thank you again Maria 💚”

About: *UPDATE*- I am back at college so I am available around the Owings Mills area in MD! I have been taking care of pets my whole life. I currently have 6 cats, a senior dog and a fish named Pedro, after the infamous Pedro Pascal. I’ve dealt with animals healthy and disabled, I’ve also dealt with animals of all sizes including horses! I rode horses for 14 years of my life and I’ve dealt with animals as small as a fish. For $15 extra I can do a professional photography photo shoot with the pets and include 5 digital photos and 1 complimentary 8x10 print 😊 I am currently a Junior at Stevenson University, so the pets I sit need to be okay with being let alone for a couple of hours while I attend classes. I also work part-time as a student film worker at my university's equipment room, and that's about ten hours a week. I care for pets very cautiously. I love all animals and want to make sure all pets are happy and safe within the environment I create.

About: Hi! I'm a dependable and caring pet sitter with 10 years of experience caring for cats and dogs for friends and family. I'm comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and giving pets lots of attention while you're away. I also have a 2-year-old Labradoodle, so I understand the daily care, exercise, and love dogs need. I'd love to help care for your pet! I’m currently working part time in the mornings, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for and play with your fur baby! I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 2pm I live in a nice neighborhood with a big yard, good for walks and play time. Although it is not fenced in, they are always closely watched. Of course, will use a leash when necessary or if you’re more comfortable with that. I also have a sweet 2 year old labradoodle and she loves to play with friends!

About: I have taken care of animals for a job (specifically dogs) since I was 14 years old. I have had multiple dogs throughout my life with my family, and we have fostered senior dogs all the way to puppies. I have had time in shelters with dogs as well. I have experience with simple “check ins”, to swimming with dogs, taking them on a short walk all the way to multi mile hikes, and also staying overnight/full time at the house with them. I have experience giving medication as well, and following strict diet orders. You name it - I have experience! I am currently working part time, mostly in evenings, with a short hourly schedule - so lots of time (especially in mornings and days) to hang with the dogs! I I think that dogs and pets are our family. They should be treated with respect, love, and kindness. Whatever their needs may be - I am all for making them comfortable and feeling loved. I am comfortable with dogs sleeping in human bed, dog bed, or crate.

About: Growing up on a ranch, I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, horses, and exotic animals—so very little surprises me! 😊 Pet sitting was actually my first neighborhood “business” as a kid, which tells you this has always been more passion than side gig. Being away from home for school these past few years, I’ve dearly missed caring for animals— so this is my way of staying connected to something I love. I’m a naturally curious person and take the time to learn each pet’s personality and routines so I can give them attentive, enriching care while you’re away. 😊 I’ll be working remotely for the foreseeable future, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care naturally into my day. I can accommodate different feeding and walking schedules, playtime, medication, check-ins, and plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Since my work travels with me, I’m also flexible with longer stays and can be around much more than someone working outside the home. I know how important it is to trust someone not only with your pet, but with your home. I take both seriously and will follow your instructions and your pet’s usual routine closely. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy and always prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and secure. I’m also more than happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away😊
About: I have always loved dogs and have helped friends and family with dog-sitting whenever needed. I have been a pet parent for over 10 years and am very empathetic to their needs and wants. I currently open availability for week days and weekends. So I can provide help and care for your furry family members whenever it's needed. 😊 I currently have an ESA yorkiepoo who coexists well with other animals. I love to play and cuddle and make sure any and all needs are covered. Please let me know about any specific concerns, so I can make sure I take the best possible care of your furry friend(s).

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Worthington
Breanna was amazing! My dog and puppy immediately felt comfortable with their new friend. She communicated with me through the entire process so it was easy to book a walk and also know how the pups were doing. My dogs enjoyed their walks and outside time. They were well cared for! I will definitely be booking with Breanna again!

Michael is attentive to the details when he takes care of my dogs. Today he noticed that I’d accidentally left a door open that could have led to them getting out - he contacted me to check if it was intentional and took care of it right away when I confirmed it was a mistake. Michael is the best :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
