About: Although my experience comes primarily from caring for pets belonging to family and friends, I’ve developed a genuine passion for working with animals. I’m dependable, patient, and highly detail oriented, so I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering simple care instructions, or giving plenty of attention, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress free experience while giving owners peace of mind. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I’m available for drop in visits, walks, overnight drops, and last minute bookings whenever my schedule allows. I’ll communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is receiving excellent care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special care requests. I keep pets in a clean, secure environment and pay close attention to their behavior to make sure they’re happy and healthy. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: *UPDATE*- I am back at college so I am available around the Owings Mills area in MD! I have been taking care of pets my whole life. I currently have 6 cats, a senior dog and a fish named Pedro, after the infamous Pedro Pascal. I’ve dealt with animals healthy and disabled, I’ve also dealt with animals of all sizes including horses! I rode horses for 14 years of my life and I’ve dealt with animals as small as a fish. For $15 extra I can do a professional photography photo shoot with the pets and include 5 digital photos and 1 complimentary 8x10 print 😊 I am currently a Junior at Stevenson University, so the pets I sit need to be okay with being let alone for a couple of hours while I attend classes. I also work part-time as a student film worker at my university's equipment room, and that's about ten hours a week. I care for pets very cautiously. I love all animals and want to make sure all pets are happy and safe within the environment I create.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was in 5th grade. I have had a dog my whole life who is dog reactive and territorial and I have played a huge part in training her. I have taken care of my neighbors' pets and my family members' pets for the past 12 years every time they go away on vacation or need last-minute emergency help. I also volunteered as a dog walker at the SPCA in 2019 and went through animal behavior training. I have pet-sit both dogs and cats, old and young, and have taken care of dogs in need of taking medication. I am a very reliable, patient, and understanding person who is excited to work with you and your pets! I am currently a graduate student and work part-time. My schedule is pretty flexible and I have availability in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I will communicate any specific time conflicts before booking. I do not offer to take care of pets in my home at the moment. I will be able to take care of your dog in your home however you prefer. I am very respectful of other people's homes and will be very flexible to your pet's specific schedule or needs.
“Bronte provided pictures & detailed information about her walks with Jade. I can tell that Jade really enjoyed being out with Bronte & that reassured me that I made the perfect choice by selecting her. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Maria is amazing! She came to my rescue fairly last minute with a series of walks for my big ol AmStaff and Daisy loves her! She spent time loving in her every walk which was super sweet and even helped with clean up when my anxious pup had an accident on the carpet. I’ll definitely be rebooking with her(: Thank you, Maria!!”

“I needed a dog walker last minute & thank God Michael was available. He made sure my dog used the bathroom multiple times, sent a picture & returned him back, no problems. Will absolutely book again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Owings Mills
Thomas walks Atlas 3 times a week and he is always very communicative and cordial. He is attentive to Atlas' needs and adapts well to both our dog's size and leash reactivity, knowing when to change routes, take a break, or return home early if needed. Atlas is always thrilled to see him and comes home satisfied from their trips. Thomas is also very observant of any physical changes to dogs in his care and has good instincts with how best to proceed during unique situations. His background in Canine Search & Rescue no doubt helps Thomas get a feel for new animals quickly and was one of the reasons we initially reached out to him. Having Thomas as a walker has been a wonderful experience and our buddy is benefitting greatly from his expertise.

Finding a reliable dog walker isn’t easy, but she exceeded all expectations! She has been absolutely amazing with Rocky—he truly adored her and was always so excited to see her. What really stood out is her dedication—she would even come late at night if Rocky didn’t go during his evening walk, just to make sure he was comfortable. She went above and beyond, even taking him on car rides, which he loved! She’s incredibly friendly, reliable, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and kind to take care of your pet, she’s the best!

Breanna was amazing! My dog and puppy immediately felt comfortable with their new friend. She communicated with me through the entire process so it was easy to book a walk and also know how the pups were doing. My dogs enjoyed their walks and outside time. They were well cared for! I will definitely be booking with Breanna again!

Michael is attentive to the details when he takes care of my dogs. Today he noticed that I’d accidentally left a door open that could have led to them getting out - he contacted me to check if it was intentional and took care of it right away when I confirmed it was a mistake. Michael is the best :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
