About: I’ve spent years caring for my own dogs and fostering many dogs for local rescues, learning to manage everything from picky eaters to senior pets with mobility issues and other various medical needs. I also have experience caring for parakeets, chickens, guinea pigs , anoles and fish I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I will do my best to match the routine you have with them to keep them on schedule and make sure they have fun and are comfortable while you are away. I can play, crate, feed, or give medications in the home. I want to match your routine with your pets as best as possible so they can feel comfortable while you are away.

About: I grew up with multiple pets, including two cats in my childhood and a wonderful dog that I helped care for in her seniority, so I've been familiar with animals all my life. Currently, I own and aided in training a high-maintenance, special needs German Shepherd. He's a sweetheart, but he's definitely a commitment! Given his intensely anxious nature, he needs a patient hand to calm him often. He's also epileptic, so I am well practiced in attentiveness, administering medication, following specialized meal plans and the like if needed. I have also done pet and house sitting on many occasions, particularly for family and friends but for a wide variety of pets– from little dogs that didn't even reach my knee, to my own Shepherd, who stands just about as tall as my hip. I've house kept for up to a week, entertaining young dogs and going on daily walks, etc. I am always happy to be introduced to new little ones and have a high pain tolerance when it comes to their claws, so I don't mind when they get a bit rowdy, either! High energy or low, I will gladly make time for any fluffy friends who need a watchful eye. I am currently on track to earn a Bachelor's in the Arts from Towson University, which is about a 50 minute commute from my home. With this in mind, my current class schedule entails that Towson days are essentially unavailable; however, the rest of the week, I'm generally left plenty of room to take on pet care! Life is always busy, and while sometimes I wind up with too many commitments to do it regularly, I'll always make time for it when I can. Though my own home may not be an ideal place for another pet to spend nights due to my Shepherd's nervousness, I will gladly offer my time to visit others. I have previously found myself curled up on a couch with a pet I was taking care of overnight, or even falling asleep on the floor with them. So long as their pet parents are happy for me to do so, I will gladly stay wherever is most comfortable for the pet involved, and take food/water/sleeping arrangements where they are best suited. I also have a fair sense of direction, so I'm perfectly content on walks in unfamiliar places, especially when I have friendly doggos with me!

About: I’m an experienced animal caretaker comfortable with pets of all species, ages, temperaments, and care needs. My background includes training challenging dogs, caring for neonatal kittens, mucking stalls, administering IV fluids, raising poultry and small animals, and over 20 years of experience with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I’m confident with special-needs pets, unusual animals, and complicated routines—and I’ll care for every animal with patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I work a standard 8 am - 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am available to care for boarded animals in the morning before I leave and in the evenings when I return from work in those days, with the same diligence and love I give my own animals. For all other days, I am either off or working from home and I am generally available to provide care. If I am visiting your home, I would like to have a meet and greet with you and your animals before you head out of town to establish their normal schedules and routines. During appointments, I will give your animals the same love and care that I give my own. If you are scheduling to have an animal boarded, your animal(s) will be given their own room separate from other animals in the house, with direct access to a large, fenced-in yard, their own beds and towels, and constant access to water. Walks, treats, meals, and medications will be given on an agreed upon schedule. Potty breaks will occur no less than once in the morning, once before and after dinner, and once before bedtime. I do not accept outside bedding and all guests must be up to date on vaccines and treated for fleas and ticks prior to boarding.

About: I have been raised with rabbits, birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, and I am currently the proud pet mama to a Doberman, fish, 2 pot belly pigs and 1 rooster & 27 chickens, 2 of which we hatched out on our own! About: Hi! I am new to Rover! I am 24 and have taken care of dogs my whole life! Growing up, we always had at least 2-4 dogs in our home at all times, all different breeds and sizes. We treat dogs like children in my family :) I work a hybrid job in office Monday-Wednesday so my availability is mainly Thursday-Sunday. Week days I am available to do visits throughout the day and weekends my availability is very open. About: I work remotely from home on my computer so I spend a lot of time at home and my hours are flexible. I like to go out and get exercise during the day which is a great opportunity for me to also walk the dogs so your pups will get plenty of exercises. I've been an around dogs my whole life. I had a fun energetic husky growing up and now I have a chill Cotton De Tulier as my best friend. We get into a lot of crazy adventure together. I love taking road trip with my dog to the beach in the summer. Dogs are up for anything and they are the best companion. I love to have more dog if I can afford it but this gig seems like a great idea to have more dogs as well. A lot of people have to give away their dogs to shelters because they can't take care of them and that's really sad. This is my way of making a contribution so people can keep their best friend and still find time to do things they need to do. About: Hello, I’ve worked closely with dogs during my time in the Military. From big to small, there’s nothing I can’t handle. I can assure you, you’re furry friend is in great hands with me. I also look after cats and some reptiles I am available 7 days a week, if there are any requests I can make accommodations as well. About: I've volunteered at my local animal shelter since I was 11 years old! When I turned 16, I was able to socialize with cats at the shelter, and when I turned 18, I started walking dogs at the shelter. Now I am certified to walk dogs of any difficulty level! These dogs range from puppies to seniors and some have had various behavioral challenges that I navigated safely and respectfully. I pride myself on my developed knowledge of animal behavior to continue to be a pet concierge for clients. I'm currently working part-time as a bartender, so I am very flexible to fit pet care into my schedule. If a client is more than 20 minutes from my residence, I prefer to do overnight care with the pet(s) to ensure they're getting the socialization and adequate care they deserve. I always ask the clients what their pet needs in all aspects of pet care, including medications, enrichment methods (treats, toys, Kongs), walk frequency and duration, feed time, and amount of food. The client always knows their pet best, so I base my care on their recommendations. I also always take pictures of the pet(s) and send them to the client to keep them posted on how the pet(s) are doing!
