About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.

She even picked up some stuff the kitties had knocked over and let us know where she put it. I live in a very walkable and safe neighborhood community in Ellicott City. While not gated, it is a closed community and offers numerous paths for dog walkers, including a dog park nearby as well. There is a shared backyard where I have seen dogs play and ample space in my townhome. I have had cats/ dogs in my home in the past with no problem.

“We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Leaving Violet with someone new is never easy because she's a sweet girl with a few quirks. She loves long walks, naps, sunshine, and belly rubs. She also has a strong prey drive (especially for bunnies!), so we really appreciate sitters who pay attention to the details. From the moment we met, we knew Violet was in great hands. Our sitter took the time to understand her routine, made sure she got plenty of walks and sniffs, and gave her all the love and attention she thrives on. We received regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind, and it was obvious Violet felt comfortable, relaxed, and cared for throughout her stay. When we picked her up, she was happy, well cared for, and settled right back into life at home, which is always the best sign that she had a wonderful boarding experience. “Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”

“This was our first time using dog boarding through Rover. We were a little concerned about our dog's separation anxiety. Virginia was excellent with our dog. We received numerous updates throughout the stay, and our dog came back tired from playing with other dogs that were there. Virginia responds promptly and is very flexible on drop-off/pick-up times. She also doesn't hesitate to change anything you feel uncomfortable with. We will definitely go back to her for boarding services!”
