Aspiring vet & long-time pet lover!
I’ve cared for a variety of different animals most of my life (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc.), and I’ve spent hours volunteering and cleaning kennels at my local animal shelter. These experiences have led to me becoming someone who truly loves and embraces all aspects of animal care. I’ve seen and dealt with feisty, anxious, or rebellious animals, and throughout the years I’ve learned that patience goes a long way.

I will care for each animal depending on who they are, as well as the environment that’s available. I will also be pretty relaxed and practice caution for every animal. I can also be more energetic and active for my more extroverted buds!

Nia is a true animal care professional. my cat, Hal, is a 10 year old senior and he doesn't like any changes to his routine. Nia is sensitive to Hal's needs, she understood the need to give him his medication on time , she brought a toy to play with him and sent me great pictures. Hal was calm and engaging when I got home. I have booked Nia for two additional jobs in the next two months. I am relieved to have found Nia.
Nia is so kind and loving with my dog. She's very patient with my dog's reactivity and helps her to be calm. She's even gotten her to walk in the rain, and my dog HATES the rain and will often refuse to go. She's good about following directions for food and treats and checks in if she has any concerns. Thanks Nia!
First time using Nia and she was great! Super communicative and sent all the pictures. She was so sweet with Jesse at our meet and greet and Jesse had the biggest smile in every picture sent so I know Jesse loved her too. Will be using her again!
We were in need of sitter somewhat last minute (about 2-1.5 weeks out) and Nia was able to help us out! Very communicative & was great about keeping our kitty company while we were away. Would highly recommend her services.
Nia was wonderful with our 5 year rescue. Our dog can be a bit fearful and nervous around strangers. During the initial meet and greet, Nia spent over an hour building rapport and trust with our dog which was awesome. She tried a lot of different strategies and finally got her comfortable enough to go out for a walk, which was no mean feat. Nia was also very communicative - keeping us updated if she was running late. She provided detailed updates and photos on the daily Rover cards which kept us informed and comforted that our doggo was well taken care of while we were away.
Nia was great. She was reliable and flexible. Definitely will have her take care of my cats again. Sent me photos of the two cats.

I’m available to care for your pups/kitties any day of the week! Though, I am only able to do mornings and evenings on weekdays, and all day on weekends.
