We had a meet and great a couple weeks beforehand so she met their dog and sniffed around the backyard. I got periodic updates and photos, which was reassuring. She sent GREAT photos (AND I MEAN GREAT) the photos were picture perfect for magazines!! :) Megan was reliable and adjusted to our schedule with drop off and pick up. When the dogs ran out of the canned food, she offered and picked some up for us! How nice! :) At pick up both dogs were happy and well taken care of! BUT what touched my son and I the most is we were going through our pets bag and found Megan had placed a gift bag for Nelson and Kodie that consisted of a card, plush dog toy, and dog treats! About: I’ve been involved in animal rescue for more than 20 years and currently help with independent rescues and adoptions. I’m also a Certified Veterinary Assistant with extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I’m an experienced reptile and exotic pet owner and understand that these animals often require very different care than traditional pets. I’m comfortable working with reptiles, turtles, birds, fish, and other exotic species, including following detailed feeding schedules, habitat and enclosure routines, temperature and lighting requirements, and species-specific care instructions. About: I love going on long walks and love having a fur covered, tail wagging friend join me on those little adventures. I am fairly flexible with being able to do lunchtime walks during weekdays as well. We all know how important it is for our four legged friends (and us) to stretch their legs! If you're going away and your dog like hikes or trail adventures to get their zoomies out, I am happy to take them on those adventures as well. I currently go on camping and hiking trips with a larger sized dog, hang out regularly with a big German Shepard, and grew up loving and caring for small dogs like Westies. From the tiny guard dogs to the the large cuddle bugs we all adore, I am comfortable with a range of dog sizes and energy levels. I can't wait to meet yours! I am currently working full time, but remotely Wednesday through Friday and can take care of your pet around lunchtime as my daily schedule is flexible. If not lunch time, I am off work at 4pm m-f and can care for your pet at 4pm or after. On weekends I am usually around and can work your pet care schedule around my own. I can usually be flexible with walking your dogs throughout the day. I am also capable of taking them on long walks if needed. I can follow whichever precise directions you need me to follow and if you are training your pet can do my best to follow those training tips you have been working so hard to enforce.

He kept me updated and even took pictures of Prince and sent them to me, which I really appreciated. Prince looked like he was having a great time and was very comfortable in Charles’s care. I was able to relax and not worry because I knew Prince was in good hands. I truly appreciate the care, attention, and communication Charles provided. I would definitely recommend Charles and will gladly use him again!”
