The cats I have taken care of have had a variety of health issues, so I'm familiar with the signs of and treatments for a variety of cat ailments (diabetes, arthritis, hyperthyroidism, pancreatitis, ear mites, asthma, various types of cancer, etc.). I've taken care of cats with various temperaments for friends and family including total house-cat Bella--who had little interest in anything but lying in the sunshine and having her ears scratched--and ball-of-chaos Mo--who is too smart and curious for his own good and will seek out trouble if you do not wear him out with safer kinds of stimulation. Getting to know a new cat is always a delight, and I can be quiet and still enough that even the skittish hide-under-the-bed types will usually be willing to show their faces in time. About: I have grown up with Pitbulls and Frenchies my whole life so I am confident that I can take great care of your beloved pet! I work from home and will be with your lovely dog all day (unless I need to go out to run an errand) so no need for you to be worried that they’ll be alone! I prefer to crate any dogs that are not mine while I am away from the home just to make sure everyone has their own space. About: I’ve owned cats for 30+ years. I helped care for a family dog in my young adulthood for 4+ years. Our family just started dog sitting for friends when needed and all parties involved adjust well to bringing new pets temporarily into the home. About: I’ve grown up around both small and large dogs, giving me experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities. I’ve also cared for and dog sat more dogs than I can count. Me and my partner love dogs and we wish we could have our own - but out jobs are both in person Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday making it impossible to be there for a dog during the week. However, we would love to care for an animal over a weekend! Or even just dog sit! I currently work from home only on Mondays and Fridays. I am in person Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. “James did a wonderful job watching our boy Hank. He was highly communicative sending pictures and texts on a regular basis. He was also willing to attend to Hank’s preferences (walks, lots of outside time, naps and routines). His dog, Xena, was very good/tolerant with Hank, who can be a bit much as a 150 lb. Saint Bernard who loves attention. We’d like to think Hank enjoyed his vacation as much as we did. 😃”
