“My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love deserving ! I have a mini fenced in area in my back yard that my own pup adores. It is just enough space to get the job done and provide leg room. I live in walking distance to three huge parks, and on leash we will have a wonderful time.

Sausage is a very elderly dog with mobility and anxiety issues and Karla was able to care for and watch over him with patience and persistence, trying multiple ways to calm and soothe him until he was eventually able to settle down. I don’t trust my little pup with just anyone, and Karla never once gave me reason to worry. Clear communication from the get-go with multiple updates throughout the stay. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with two dogs: a 12 year old Golden Doodle and a 4 year old Cavapoo, so I’m very familiar with both senior dogs and younger, energetic pups. While they are my family dogs and not currently living with me, I’ve been involved in their care my entire life, handling walks and daily responsibilities, especially when my parents were at work and I took on most of their care. I’m comfortable with walks, feedings, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog like my own and enjoy getting to know their personalities! I work in the office Monday through Wednesday from 9:00–4:30, so my availability is a bit more limited during those days. However, I’m available during evenings on those days for walks or drop-ins. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible throughout the day for pet care. Weekends can vary for me—I tend to be busy Friday evenings and Saturdays, but Sundays are generally open and a good day for me to provide care. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure pets are comfortable and following their normal routine. During walks, I focus on safe leash handling and choosing routes based on each dog’s needs. For drop-in visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and lots of play time of course. I always respect clients’ homes and my goal is to keep pets happy, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

From the beginning, he communicated frequently and kept me updated throughout her stay with videos and regular check-ins, which gave me so much peace of mind. Myra is a senior dog and requires a little extra patience and care, and Demetrius was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding with her. I could tell she was comfortable and well cared for, and I truly appreciated the level of attention he gave her. I would absolutely trust Demetrius with Myra again and will definitely be booking with him in the future. I highly recommend him, especially if you have a senior dog who may need a little extra TLC.
