About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. I'm also able to do house sitting, walks, and drop-ins for your pets to make sure your pets are getting love and attention when you're away.

“My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

About: With 15 years of pet ownership, I pride myself on being patient, reliable, and communicative. I'm a pet owner too, so I know how important it is to stick to your pet's routine and send plenty of updates so you can relax. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible schedule. My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. Your dog will be supervised at all times in a large 3BR condo with large living spaces, plenty of toys and places to lounge. Oh--and a goofy furry friend named Trevor! I work from home and keep a pretty typical schedule--my dog and I go for a 30-45 min walk around 7:30 AM, a 45-90 min walk around 4PM, and then a 30-45 min walk around 8PM. In between, he lounges while I work with breaks for cuddles and play. I would adjust walking lengths to your dog's needs and can do more potty and play breaks if needed! I have a large 3BR condo with a large living area, study (where I work), and dining area. Dogs are allowed on my couch and bed but there are also dog beds in nearly every room. My kitchen has a door and my pantry has a door that I keep closed so your dog wont get into any food they're not supposed to.

About: Hello!! My name is Sabrina and I’m currently a 2nd year graduate student at Hopkins. I’ve always been a HUGE animal lover and begged my family to adopt a pet my entire life. Now, I’ve had my family dog for 7.5 years (she’s 8.5 years now), and I am responsible taking her out every morning to do her daily poops, feed her, and play with her when I go back home in California. My friend would sometimes leave her pet at my place when she goes on vacation so I’m comfortable taking care of multiple animals at a time. Many of my friends also own cats and I always enjoy going to their places and playing with the softest animals to ever exist. I’m currently at JHU doing research about effects of microplastics on embryonic development. Since it’s mostly just research, my day is usually flexible and varies. I’m usually free on the weekends other than some Saturday mornings because I’ll be volunteering at community gardens 🐛. I can walk, feed, and play with the pets at home (and will most definitely be sending a lot of photos). About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for pets, be it my own or others, most of my life and it is one of those things in my life that fulfills me. I am a graduate student at JHU and this is my side hustle lol! I’m currently working part time and starting school in the fall, so i have those time commitments to work around, but i always have time for your animals:) Making sure that the animals I care for are fed and have water is important to me. Making sure that the animals I care for are given time to walk and play and feel loved is what I love about taking care of them.
