“Christine was very responsive especially considering this was a last minute request! She kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout the day. It helped me be more present at my work conference knowing that they were in good hands”

“Amy was wonderful! Highly recommend her! She sent pics every day and my really shy cat even let her give her pills every day! Will definitely book her again!”

“Pre was amazing. I completely screwed up the days I needed dog sitting for and she just rolled with it. I was so grateful for her flexibility and grace. Indy was very happy he got to chill in his own home. We will definitely hire her again.”

“Johana was amazing! First time using her and was admittedly nervous since I was going on a long trip away but she absolutely knocked it out of the park. My dog was obsessed with her and I was admittedly put at peace of mind. Would absolutely book again”

“Autumn is the most responsible, communicative, kind, and cat-loving pet sitter we've found for our two cats. Our cats can feel "high-maintenance" for many with their dietary and medical needs, but Autumn was confident and unfazed. During her homestay, she regularly sent us cute photo updates throughout her stay, actively played with them and even turning on "cat TV" bird YouTube videos to keep them happy and engaged. Our cats can also be a little anxious and shy, but our first night away they were cuddling with her in bed—an indicator of our cats' deep and instant trust of Autumn. She even washed and folded her linens and we came home to a perfectly clean house. If you're looking for a caring cat sitter, I can't recommend Autumn enough.”

“Imani was super informative about the process of dog sitting since it was my first time using Rover! She was easy to work with and my dog loved her. She went above and beyond taking my dog to the dog park when not required. I would definitely book her again.”

“Gavin is a gem. He fit in beautifully with our Great Dane, Dolly. Gavin sent many photos posts in our absence which put us at ease. We highly recommend him.”

“Tiffany did a wonderful job! We returned home to happy dogs and everything in our house seems in order. We will love for Tiffany to come back in the future for house/sitting”

“Elizabeth was amazing! She was so good with our three dogs and cat. They are a handful and we worry leaving them with new people but Elizabeth put our minds at ease with frequent updates and photos. She stayed at our house and left it cleaner than she found it! She really thought of everything to make sure our late arrival home was as smooth as possible. Would 100% recommend Elizabeth!”

“Garrett stayed with our Malti-Poo Daisy for 3 days and was amazing. Great with her and also took great care of our home. Plus, he was great with communication. We will definitely use him again!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

“I highly recommend Natalie. She stayed at my house and looked after my dog while I was away on a recent trip. I came home and found my puppy dog happy and relaxed, and my house nice and neat, with the plants watered, and the trash taken out to the curb at the right time. I will definitely contact her about future travel dates.”

“Kathleen took great care of our senior cat and our home. She navigated some technical challenges with our alarm system with professionalism and good humor. Highly recommend. Will definitely re-book.”

“Ivan has shown tremendous patience with our overly anxious puppies. He was amazing with communication through out the stay. I plan on using him again for future trips and highly recommend him for others to use as well. The videos he sent were adorable and made us feel very safe for him to have out animals.”

About: I have experiencing reinforcing the training of dogs of different ages, sizes, and breeds! All animals are welcome with me because I prioritize patience, being responsive to their body language and needs, and creating trust when building a bond. I love senior animals and attending to their health and socialization needs. I can administer medication, follow specialized diets, be patient with resource guarding and reactive behaviors, and provide enriching play time. I am so excited to meet your babies and give them the love that I would give to family!! I work full-time in the center of Baltimore, Monday-Friday from 8:30-5. I take an hour lunch around 1pm, so I can drop in before, during, and after work on weekdays! Otherwise, I am free for housesitting and drop-ins all evenings, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays! Routine is so important for pets, so I want to follow the routine already given to your pet and be a predictable, friendly, and trustworthy caregiver.

“Shirley was fantastic-- she came for a meet and greet on her own time even though we only had a one night booking and took care of both of our aged pets, giving them meds and dealing with an incontinent dog. She did it all with a smile! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, detailed oriented and responsive sitter.”

“Kyla was amazing. We have a super shy cat and we had to leave for a little over a week and Kyla stayed and hung out to get crash comfortable, he finally started warming up towards the end of the stay! She refilled his water, scooped his litter and gave him wet food twice a day. This was essential as crash is on prescription food for urinary crystals and his pee needs to be monitored to make sure he doesn’t get a blockage. This can be so worrisome when you’re out of state but Kyla did an amazing job checking on him and making sure he was peeing and she kept us totally updated more than once a day. I would highly recommend her for any pet care needs.”

“Victoria is absolutely amazing! I’ve hired her multiple times and she takes incredible care of my pets. My cat who is usually very shy warmed up to her and even sat on her lap! He doesn’t do that with anyone but me which speaks volumes of how caring Victoria is and how safe he feels around her. She is the best sitter and I highly recommend her!”

“We feel very lucky to have found Alyson and Taylor prior to our recent trip. With one young dog and one senior, there is a lot going on in our household. Add the fact that they are each 110+ lbs, and it takes a very special dog sitter to be comfortable handling our pups! Alyson and Taylor were wonderful - from the moment they met the dogs, we could see everything was going to be fine while we were gone. Highly recommend - unless you need them next time we are traveling. ?”

“Aidan took fantastic care of my dog sabi and of my house. He's incredibly reliable, and my dog was well fed and got all the activity he needed. Lauren Aidan also communicated really well and provided regular updates. When I got home, the house was cleaner than I left it when I left town a few days earlier. And most importantly, my dog sabi seems really comfortable around Aidan. Excellent, reliable dog sitter.”

“Mali W. took care of my beloved senior cat, Ciani, while I was out of town for business. Ciani, despite her age, can be quite the handful, but Mali quickly earned her trust. Park Heights pet parents share their Rover experiences
Eleanor took fantastic care of our senior cat and our home while we traveled abroad. Definitely hope to rebook with her!

Super communicative and so helpful! Will definitely be reaching out the next time I’m planning on being gone!

It was such peace of mind having Brenna stay at our house for four days and care for our dogs, a Samoyed and a Great Pyrenees. The dogs were in great spirits when we returned and the house and the plants also reflected her TLC. This was our first time relying on Rover and we will definitely reach out to you and Brenna again. Thank you!

Jenny is wonderful - I could not have hoped for a more caring and capable companion for my dogs. She is thoroughly responsible, and the dogs love her!

Liz is great with our challenging pets, very reliable, such a relief when she’s available because I know everything will be taken care of.

Michelle stayed at my house and cared for my 2 senior dogs and 2 cats for a week. She was wonderful. She gave my pets their food and medicines daily, took the dogs for walks on schedule and was respectful to my home. I highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again in the future.

Shirley was on time, communicative and responsible! She took perfect care of my high energy golden retriever with no issues :)

We absolutely love Destiny! She took amazing care of our three babies (cats) while we were out of the country for a few weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Destiny is so sweet and truly an old soul. Our girls are incredibly loving but usually shy and reserved around new people—they almost always hide when we have guests over. I was honestly shocked at how quickly they opened up to her. It’s true what they say—cats can sense a good soul. Destiny sent us regular updates, respected our home, and even left it cleaner than we had. It’s always been tough for us to travel overseas since rescuing them, but seeing how much she loved them—and how much they loved her in return—gave us such peace of mind. We’re so lucky to have found her, and we’ll absolutely be recommending Destiny to our friends with furbabies!

Kathryn was great doing drop ins and walks with our two big dogs. We'd be happy to have her care for the dogs in the future!

Michael was great. Clear communication and he was on time. He took great care of the pups during an overnight stay. He also kept the guest room and house very tidy. Would recommend and use again. Thanks

Courtenay is great!! Cannot reccomend her highly enough - our dog loves her, and we always know he's in great hands with her. Our go-to dog sitter!

Penny was exceptional! She took care of our fur babies like they were her own and went above and beyond sending updates and plenty of photos! Thank you, Penny!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Victoria. She cared for our dog and cats better than we do and left our house cleaner than she found it. She sent wonderful updates and is generally GREAT. Strongly recommend her and she will for sure be our go-to pet sitter going forward.

Julie took great care of our dog and cat - they clearly took to her easily, she was easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures, and took wonderful care of our home. We would definitely use Julie again for future pet sitting needs.

Ryan is a godsend! He took such great care of our two puppers, one of which has some health concerns. He kept in regular contact and our babies were obviously loved and well taken care of. Will definitely use him again in the future!

michelle is completely reliable and spent lots of time with my high energy dog. she also took great care of my home.

We are proud members of the Caroline fan club!! She is responsive, reliable, and attentive. She consistently goes above and beyond in showing our boy the best time. we can't thank you enough, Caroline!

Amanda was incredible! It was our first time using Rover and she was so responsive and took such good care of our puppy! She sent updates throughout the night and really made us feel like our pup was in good hands! Would 10/10 recommend!

I felt extremely confident leaving our home and two kitties in Allyson’s hands. She was kinda and smart and very flexible with our changing schedule. She sent photos of the cats eating and playing and seemed to genuinely connect with our kitties, despite one who is very shy! Will book again 😸

Rochelle was an excellent house sitter and dog sitter of our two dogs while we were out of town. She was always communicative, sending us frequent updates, pictures and videos of the dogs, taking great care of them with tons of attention, walks, and kept them on their regular schedule. We came home to two content, well-cared-for dogs and a house that was perfectly maintained in our absence. Rochelle is an experienced and responsible sitter who I absolutely recommend and would definitely work with again.
