“My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.

I have experience with young, elderly, shy, hyper, temper-mental, and loving cats. Please let me know the general attitude of your pet beforehand so I can prepare accordingly! I have a bit less experience with dogs but I'm so down for a long walk or throwing a toy around the park! I currently work as a marine biologist engineer, I work with many different kinds of animals by maintaining their water quality and exhibit health. Rest assured your pet will be well cared for if I'm their sitter! My work schedule is 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. I work the first weekend of every month and will be unavailable to book for those days! If there are any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out! Growing up, my family always had dogs, and now as a young professional, I have one of my own, Maverick, a very spoiled German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees rescue! About: Hello, I am new to rover! I’m a medical student who enjoys hanging out with dogs more than humans! I have extensive volunteer experience training guide dogs for the visually impaired throughout college. I have always been the “go to” person for family and friends when it comes to caring for their pets and am excited to love in your pets! I am capable of caring for dogs of all ages and needs, including those that may need a little more TLC for their medical needs. On weekdays, I am available early mornings and late afternoon/evenings. I am open on the weekends with flexible hours. Happy to discuss a schedule that works for you! I have a medium sized dog named Bora who is very well trained and friendly. She can easily be separated from your dog if needed. If you book me to stay in your home overnight, I will not be bringing Bora with me as she will stay at my home with the rest of my family.
About: Hi! My name is Emma and I recently moved to Baltimore after living in DC for 7 years. In college, my room mate and I adopted a spunky, blind 10 year old pug. She passed away after a fun 3 years together. In August 2020, my husband and I got a puppy, Lily, who is my best friend! I just graduated with my masters and am in between jobs, so I have open availability during the week and some weekends to drop in on your pet/take them for a walk. I have taken care of large and small dogs and cats all my life, some old and with disabilities. I am dependable, kind, and will love your pet almost as much as you do :) I can travel around Baltimore and have a car! Let me know what your pet likes to do and I'll be sure to incorporate that into their care routine (walks, throwing the ball, or just some quality cuddling time). Look forward to meeting you and your pet! I am currently available all day, 6 AM-9 PM, on weekdays and some weekends! I can be very flexible depending on your pet’s typical schedule. I aim to follow all instructions provided, and will make sure to treat your home as if it were my own (taking my shoes off, cleaning any messes).
