About: For 12 years, I cared for my 115-lb German Shepherd through every stage of his life. He was leash-reactive, so I know how to read body language, manage leash walks safely, and keep big, strong dogs under control without stress or force. If your pup pulls, lunges, or needs space from other dogs, I've handled it daily for years. I also have experience with puppies — the energy, the training, the potty breaks, and the constant supervision that comes with them. Whether your dog is brand new to the world or well into their golden years, I can meet them where they are. In his senior years, my Shepherd used a wheelchair, so I have hands-on experience with elderly and disabled pets: mobility assistance, patience with slower walks, medication routines, and the extra attentiveness aging animals need. Senior pets and special-needs pets aren't a challenge for me — they're my specialty. I'm also comfortable and experienced with cats, so multi-pet households are no problem. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, old and slow, reactive, or requires special care, they'll be safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I work from home, which makes pet care a natural part of my day. My schedule is flexible — outside of occasional virtual meetings, I can stop by your place for potty breaks, walks, or check-ins at whatever times work best for your pet's routine. My evenings are always free. If your dog stays in my home, they'll have company all day long. I'm here from morning to night, so they'll never be left alone or feel lonely. My dog Kato recently passed away, so I don’t have any pets in my home at this time. I really miss having a walking buddy so I’m excited to spend some time with your fur baby. I don't have a yard, but I have a covered outdoor patio with a doggy door and a turf potty pad, so quick potty breaks are easy anytime. For real exercise, I love taking dogs on walks around my neighborhood — walks are one of my favorite parts of pet care. I'm experienced with crating if that's part of your dog's routine; I don't have a crate of my own, so you're welcome to bring yours. My home has stairs, and your pup is welcome upstairs with me while I work and sleep — they'll be by my side, not shut away somewhere alone.

She sent plenty of videos and pictures of him which I loved and she followed the instructions I left for his care perfectly. My cat was so calm when we got home that I could tell all his needs had been well met while we were gone.”

“I’ve had Lady watch my cat twice now and have had a great experience. She is responsible, responsive, and keeps me regularly updated on how my cat is. This last time my cat got a bladder infection that I noticed the evening before my travel. Lady not only took my cat to the vet without question but gave me a recommendation on a good vet (I’m new to town), kept him up on his meds, and kept a me updated on his recovery. She also leaves my home very clean, almost without a trace of her visit. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“This was my first time using Danielle, I was truly impressed, from the first picture she sent me I could see that my fur baby was in love from the way he was looking at her with his paw on her arm, that put my mind at ease. Danielle was a ten out of ten and I will definitely be using her again. ❤️”

“I couldn’t be happier with our dog sitter! He’s incredibly prompt and always available—even on short notice, which has been a lifesaver more than once. It’s clear he genuinely loves my dog, and that kind of care and attention means a lot to me. He also has his own dog, so mine gets a built-in playmate and comes home happy and well-exercised every time. It’s such a relief knowing my dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for and enjoying the experience. Highly recommend!”

“Emily was amazing! We did a meet and greet a few days before hand and then on the actual day, my dog remembered her and was so excited to be back. I was worried because he’s a bit of a Velcro dog but Emily said he slept behind her while she worked and spent some time outside with her dog as well playing. 10/10, I will book Emily and Patrick next time I need a sitter.”

“Nina was tremendously helpful with my new pup when I had to leave out of town on short notice. She gave timely updates, practical advice, and left my Sophie feeling happy! Would book with her again.”

About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love deserving ! I have a mini fenced in area in my back yard that my own pup adores. It is just enough space to get the job done and provide leg room. I live in walking distance to three huge parks, and on leash we will have a wonderful time.

About: Hey Friend, I love pets! I helped my dad train our puppy for a little over 8 years. I’ve been walking dogs for 4 years and I’ve adopted and rescued two puppies in the last 2 years. I enjoy training and caring for pets of all ages and sizes! There’s no dog to small, large, loud or anything in between for me! Just like people, I meet pets where they are. Plus, living on Patterson park makes everything even better! Pet care is heavily integrated in my daily routine. As I have puppies, I walk them 3 times a day in the park and around the neighborhood. This outside time is for: • Exercise • Bathroom • Brain stimulation (Sniffing) • Reactivity Training We also play games inside and work on reinforcing foundational skills around things like eating, waiting to go outside and getting treats. Patterson park and the dog park are literally right next to my house! So we have ample walking and running space! I also have a fenced outdoor area, it is concrete so it’s generally used for playing games that don’t require a large field. We play sniffing games indoors to keep the puppy stimulated and also have structured feeding and nap times based on your preference.
“This was my very first time using a dog daycare, and I was extremely nervous. Luna isn’t just my dog—she’s my only family. During my Navy deployments, my ex-husband took everything I had, and after I left the service, Luna became the one constant in my life. We’ve been through everything together. Today, I had a 12-hour clinical shift and my usual sitter (a close friend) was unavailable. I entrusted Luna to Lexie, and I could not be more grateful. Lexie sent me updates throughout the day, took Luna on walks and even to the park. Knowing Luna was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Lexie to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about your dog as family. Thank you, Lexie, for treating Luna like your own.”

I have experience with obedience training, crate training, and animals with special requirements, and I will do whatever is necessary to meet your pet's individual needs.
“We had such a wonderful experience with Leah and Ryan! They took amazing care of our pup and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We received updates and adorable pictures every single day, and they always made sure to check in with us. It was clear that Oliver was loved and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be using them again for our next trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring people to watch their furry family member!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and it’s still one of my greatest joys. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to two pups: Roxy, my 16-year-old toy poodle with a sweet but sassy senior personality, and Pickles, our affectionate long-haired Chihuahua mix who loves everyone—dogs and people alike! Over the years, I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs with different temperaments and medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and giving each dog the attention they deserve. I love going on walks and always enjoy bringing the dogs along for fresh air and exercise. My family enjoys having a house full of furry friends. Whether your pup is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, they’ll be treated like part of the family in our home. I work from home, so when I board dogs, I am available to them all day and night. I also have my summers off, so I can make even more time for the dogs I walk or board in the summer months. In my home, safety and comfort are top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, and I’ve set up gated areas inside to provide quiet or separate spaces if a dog needs downtime. I have two friendly dogs who enjoy the company of other pups, and my two children are gentle and respectful with animals—they love helping give our furry guests lots of attention and affection. I always take time to get to know each dog’s personality and needs to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet space, I’m here to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

I have experience with a ton of breeds, ages, and sizes of pups and am always happy to take them on adventures! I work remotely and have a fenced yard, allowing me to provide supervision pretty much the entire day. My own dog Camden is very dog friendly and would love any friend to play with, inside or outside. I have my own dog as well who loves meeting new friends. About: I grew up surrounded by different pets but mainly dogs. As an adult I've been exposed to cats and I get to feed my neighbors cats now and then. Currently, I have two dogs, Flash and Mina, who I've been taking care of since they were puppies. My dogs are highly energetic, so I don't mind taking care of dogs with a lot of energy. Due to my schedule flexibility, I can help with potty training as well. I am currently self-employed and mostly work from home. I can adjust my schedule to mostly any pet routine. I can walk dogs many times per day as needed. For right now, I am not offering boarding as my two dogs prefer to have their own space. However, I am happy to take care of your pet in their environment and to keep their routine to make them feel as calm as possible while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past eight years. I am comfortable house sitting along with dog sitting and dog walking. I am currently working as a server and at Breakthrough T1D in DC, but I am hybrid some days and willing to help out weekdays and weekends. I would work around your schedule Though it says “Away”, reach out to me! I work at Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and am also a server. My schedule is hybrid and I am flexible so I’m happy to discuss and work with you! I like to be with the dogs and cats as much as I can, but have the opportunity to occasionally go back to my own house to take a shower and grab some food.

“Thanks to Imauri’s flexible schedule, she was able to accommodate our beagle who is just shy of four months and needed to be taken out for walks. Very professional, even checked up on my puppy when I was a little late getting back home just to make sure he was OK. She even tidied up after he came in from his walk which was extremely helpful. My baby loves her and is comfortable with her and that speaks volumes for my shy beagle.”

“Demetrius was absolutely amazing with Myra! From the beginning, he communicated frequently and kept me updated throughout her stay with videos and regular check-ins, which gave me so much peace of mind. Myra is a senior dog and requires a little extra patience and care, and Demetrius was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding with her. I could tell she was comfortable and well cared for, and I truly appreciated the level of attention he gave her. I would absolutely trust Demetrius with Myra again and will definitely be booking with him in the future. I highly recommend him, especially if you have a senior dog who may need a little extra TLC. He’s amazing!”

“We first went to Melissa's for a meet and greet. Later I brought my dogs back to her house for a 4 night stay. They were pulling me towards her gate happy to be there. They liked the fenced yard, being able to explore freely. Melissa sent us a picture and short update everyday. I picked up very happy pups on Monday. Highly recommend Melissa.”
