As he spent the majority of his life as a puppy mill papa, Remi can be challenging. As a teacher and a mom, Danielle had the skills and patience to work with him. She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! About: I've had dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahua to Great Dane and Great Pyrenees (multiple at a time), over the last fifteen years. I've cared for my rescue pup Dumpling on my own for the last five, and have helped to rehab her into the lovebug she is today. I like talking multiple walks per day, will give your fur baby lots of love and attention, and I work from home so they will always have a watchful over them. I understand how much pet owners love and cherish their babies, so I will treat them like they're my own while I have them. I work remotely full time and can be fairly flexible if needed. I walk my own dog four times a day, and she loves having walk buddies, so we'd of course take your pet along. On the weekends, I like going for extra long walks, so if that's something that your pet enjoys, they'll have a great time with me. I live in an apartment downtown, so I don't have a fenced area, but I let pets have free reign in my apartment. There are also two dog parks within walking distance, so for extra and off-leash play time, we can spend lots of time there.

About: I've always had a dog growing up and my parents made sure that me and my sisters were a part of training and raising a great dog. I've wanted my own pup forever and in 2019 when I was 100% ready to take on the responsibility, I got my best buddy, Atlas. My fiancé loves to say we "got such a great dog", but I know that Atlas and I worked our butts off to earn those compliments from strangers. In 2022 we adopted Dover into our little family giving Atlas a forever playmate. Dover is surprisingly 100% GSD which provided quite a learning curve as his training needs strongly differed from Atlas'. Working with Dover gave me a deeper understanding of dogs with separation anxiety and fear reactivity (barking) which has made me that much more prepared to work with any pup. I don't believe there are bad dogs, but every dog can have a bad day. As someone with a pup who is more reserved and particular about meeting new people, I understand the fear that comes with leaving your dog with someone new. It is my goal to love and understand your pup the same way you do so that you can feel comfortable being away. I'm embarrassingly obsessed with being the best dog owner, so I am constantly trying to learn how to best interact with dogs (and cats!) or fun new ways to engage my playful boys. I am the person friends call when they need help with their pets in any capacity-training, boarding, dog park visits, etc. My commitment to extraordinary pet care extends well past just my own boys. About: Have taken care of various breeds, both big and small, as well as high energy working dogs, for family and friends over the years. This includes both walks and full dog-sitting for up to two weeks at a time. Currently work remote and can provide lots of care for dogs who need it! I am usually an early riser and prefer to get outside in the mornings, but can also offer midday and night walks given my flexible work schedule. About: I know how special our pets are in our lives. I will bring the same care, love and affection I have provided for my own fur babies to yours. Pet care fits into my schedule during the morning and afternoon hours around 4 pm. I am pretty flexible with my schedule so can adjust when needed.
