About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life and cannot remember a time I didn't love them all. My cat is no longer with me but I still have dogs and would love to care for your pets as I currently do my own. I can handle big dogs and little dogs as well as am willing to clean out your cats litterboxes. I'm happy to tussle with big dogs and take naps with lap dogs anytime! I'm a college student looking for work over the breaks and any pet time over the semester as I'll be away from my own. I'm happy to work around my class schedule to be with your pets as much as possible. I have a mostly fenced yard with the only opening being the driveway but intend to do walks and keep pets leashed just for safety. My own home has two dogs that are great with other dogs, both of them being on the smaller side and great with people as well. When I'm up at school there will be no other pets up there and the space will be fully for your pets. Bucky can be a handful with his high energy and anxiety, but she handled him so well. At the last minute, we also asked if she could watch my mom’s dog, Kandi (a Husky/Shepherd mix), and she was more than willing. She cared for Kandi just as wonderfully, making sure her needs were met too. What really impressed me was her communication—she even put me, my mom, and my husband in a group chat so we all stayed updated. That way, if she couldn’t reach one of us, she could easily contact someone else. She went above and beyond by sending daily videos and pictures, which really put me at ease while I was away. “My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

About: I've taken care of a dog in various formats since I was 14 years old. Currently I have three dogs that I have rescued and raised from various experiences where without me, they would have ended up worse off. I have extensive knowledge in pet care, wellbeing and injuries to keep a dog safe, happy and in a loving home. I've made it a point to understand dog nonverbal communication so that I can identify issues as they arise and keep my and your pets safe. My wife and I work opposite schedules most of the week meaning someone is home most of the day. I am an early riser often starting my day at 5am where I handle pet care until I leave for work around 7:30am. My wife takes over care until I return from work at 5pm and this is how our schedule runs Tuesday through Thursday. Monday and Friday we work the same shift so our pups will be unsupervised from 10am-5pm but are left in safe environments with plenty of mental stimulation and given potty breaks at 10am and extended breaks at 5pm when I arrive home. I am home all day on the weekends to take care of pet needs. I have a fenced in backyard that the dogs are free to play in all day with my other pups who are very friendly to other dogs. We have dog crates already set up in the home that are used on as needed basis and lots of mental stimulation toys like kongs, puzzles and treat dispensing toys. For my dogs they eat twice a day in the morning and night and are allowed unlimited (supervised through security cameras and frequent checks) backyard time, where there is water and a dog house to cool off. The dogs get walked on a rotating schedule throughout the week. In others homes I am sure to follow the schedule of the owner and ensure the wellbeing of your pet.

I currently have a 3-year-old American Bully, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs and understand the importance of regular exercise, playtime, structure, and attention. Pets at this home get 3-4 potty breaks a day depending on age. For the most part I let them roam around in their own areas. However, if there is a full house, the dogs will be secluded to their individual areas and brought out for individual playtime 1 at a time to prevent spats or incidents between pets. Dogs will get atleast 2 hours of playtime and a good long walk (2 if high energy). Dogs are feed according to their schedules (twice a day if not provided).

About: I have grown up with pets in my home since I was atleast 6 years old. My career is people-centered, but I've always wanted to work with animals. My love for them is so endless! I have taken care of dogs including dachshunds, cats,fish, turtles, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and once had a pet donkey. I grew up with friends who had farms so I have done feeding and cleaning for goats, cows, sheep, and chickens. I work full-time during the week; however, potential drop-ins after 5:30 pm could work for me. Depending on my schedule, I may have flexibility and this can be discussed. Weekends are more likely the best time for me to care for your fur/scale/feather baby needs. For drop-in services I will ensure your fur/scale/feather baby and residence are well cared for. This includes making sure your fur baby is fed, has water, and toileting needs are accounted for. Additionally, I will play with your fur/scale/feather baby and ensure all of your provided instructions are serviced in my time or times there.
“After I knew the Rover from another dog owner, I haven’t used. Our very senior Lab (16 years old) recently became very weak, in walking etc, unable to leave a pet hotel as we did just half years ago. During my family away, I needed to find somebody to come to my house, taking care of her, very gentle, using towel to leave to lawn etc. While working, she sent me how her walk with Jasmine attaching photos and message. I really appreciate Victoria in very nicely taking of our family dog with affection (I could feel this from her gentle messages, even though I haven’t met her at all. My wife met her for the first time then went to travel, but I didn’t cause I’m working when she comes.). This is the first time to use Rover, and not sure about other dog walker at all. Anyway, I’m satisfied the system of Rover very efficient to find a dog walke and could fine Victoria, and was very happy to have Victoria for the first time experience.”

“Amazing sitter for my German Shepherd! I can’t say enough good things about Shakiyla! She watched my German Shepherd, Bucky, for 4 days and took such amazing care of him. Bucky can be a handful with his high energy and anxiety, but she handled him so well. At the last minute, we also asked if she could watch my mom’s dog, Kandi (a Husky/Shepherd mix), and she was more than willing. She cared for Kandi just as wonderfully, making sure her needs were met too. What really impressed me was her communication—she even put me, my mom, and my husband in a group chat so we all stayed updated. That way, if she couldn’t reach one of us, she could easily contact someone else. She went above and beyond by sending daily videos and pictures, which really put me at ease while I was away. On top of that, she shared some really helpful suggestions for Bucky that showed she genuinely cared about his well-being. I am so grateful to have found her, and I plan to book with her every time I need someone to look after Bucky. She’s the best!”

“Demetrius was absolutely amazing with Myra! From the beginning, he communicated frequently and kept me updated throughout her stay with videos and regular check-ins, which gave me so much peace of mind. Myra is a senior dog and requires a little extra patience and care, and Demetrius was incredibly patient, attentive, and understanding with her. I could tell she was comfortable and well cared for, and I truly appreciated the level of attention he gave her. I would absolutely trust Demetrius with Myra again and will definitely be booking with him in the future. I highly recommend him, especially if you have a senior dog who may need a little extra TLC. He’s amazing!”
