“My lhasa apso is very attached to us and shows high anxiety when a family member is not around, even to the point of vomiting when my daughter went away on a trip in June. I was very nervous about leaving him during our family vacation, but Sarah and her family went above and beyond to make sure that Oliver was comfortable. He received lots of belly rubs and attention, went on nice walks and trips to the dog park, and became BFF's with Jack, their beagle. Sarah sent numerous pictures at least twice a day, and my favorites were of Oliver and Jack snuggling together. Seeing this pictures greatly helped my own anxiety at being so far away from my fur baby. Sarah also gave updates. Her family just really seemed to understand dogs. She was not upset when Oliver had "marked a piece of furniture" but was totally cool about it; similarly, when I warned her that Oliver is prone to throwing up when away from his family, her response was, "we have hardwood floors so it's easy to clean up." Oliver had a wonderful experience with Sarah, Jack, and the rest of the family, and I recommend her for anyone and especially those with anxious pups.”

About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . I have plenty of time to give your fur baby the attention and love deserving ! I have a mini fenced in area in my back yard that my own pup adores. It is just enough space to get the job done and provide leg room. I live in walking distance to three huge parks, and on leash we will have a wonderful time.

About: Hey Friend, I love pets! I helped my dad train our puppy for a little over 8 years. I’ve been walking dogs for 4 years and I’ve adopted and rescued two puppies in the last 2 years. I enjoy training and caring for pets of all ages and sizes! There’s no dog to small, large, loud or anything in between for me! Just like people, I meet pets where they are. Plus, living on Patterson park makes everything even better! Pet care is heavily integrated in my daily routine. As I have puppies, I walk them 3 times a day in the park and around the neighborhood. This outside time is for: • Exercise • Bathroom • Brain stimulation (Sniffing) • Reactivity Training We also play games inside and work on reinforcing foundational skills around things like eating, waiting to go outside and getting treats. Patterson park and the dog park are literally right next to my house! So we have ample walking and running space! I also have a fenced outdoor area, it is concrete so it’s generally used for playing games that don’t require a large field. We play sniffing games indoors to keep the puppy stimulated and also have structured feeding and nap times based on your preference.

About: Hey all, I have been hosting dogs on Rover on and off for almost 10 years now. My dog Camden really enjoys hanging out with pups and meeting new buddies! I work in DC Monday-Wednesday, but the rest of the week I’m available for boarding and drop ins/walks. I have experience with a ton of breeds, ages, and sizes of pups and am always happy to take them on adventures! I work remotely and have a fenced yard, allowing me to provide supervision pretty much the entire day. About: Hii furr-friends & furr-parents 👋 . I’ve missed everyone oh so much and now that have more free times, I’m ready to start watching all the babies again. It’s been super lonely since we took a break from watching pets but we are back and soo excited ❤️ Here’s a little of our back story. I’ve been caring for dogs at home for about 7-8 years now. It really is a passion of mine. I’ve always like having a place complete different then an actual kennel. I always wanted something warm and cozy for my baby girl when boarded her, so I started doing this and absolutely fell head over paws inlove. Last year I lost Raven from cancer. This was the most heart breaking thing I have ever been through. I needed a break from the world. But now I’m really to be around all our friends again. I work in the mornings for a few hours while my fiancé is working nights. It allows someone to be home all the time with the animal. I have a fenced in yard and two for babies to keep your pets company. I can also keep them separated if necessary. I also have extra crates in needed.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a non-dog friendly bully breed so I have plenty of experience walking reactive dogs or dogs that have special requirements. I love all animals and promise to treat your pet with the greatest of care. I currently work on a 2 week rotating schedule. I have lots of days off throughout the week, operating on a two week cadence. I am off Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday one week and off Wednesday/Thursday the following week. I will care for and love every pet like my own. I have nursed my dog back from a spinal surgery and she currently has cushings so I am very comfortable administering medicine. I would love to deliver the highest level of care to your loved one.
