I started by walking an elderly neighbors dog because I wanted to dog to get a nice walk, and ended up adopting him, though I am the one getting the most out of this arrangement. Very sensitive to changes that effect senior dogs and will gladly accommodate all special requests. In the human health care field and very attuned to special health needs of canines. I am dependable, reliable, caring and willing to go the extra mile for your dog. I coordinate a small neighborhood organization that raises funds on a small scale basis for local cat rescue. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and it’s still one of my greatest joys. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to two pups: Roxy, my 16-year-old toy poodle with a sweet but sassy senior personality, and Pickles, our affectionate long-haired Chihuahua mix who loves everyone—dogs and people alike! Over the years, I’ve also cared for many friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs with different temperaments and medical needs. I'm comfortable administering medications and giving each dog the attention they deserve. I love going on walks and always enjoy bringing the dogs along for fresh air and exercise. My family enjoys having a house full of furry friends. Whether your pup is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, they’ll be treated like part of the family in our home. I work from home, so when I board dogs, I am available to them all day and night. I also have my summers off, so I can make even more time for the dogs I walk or board in the summer months. In my home, safety and comfort are top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, and I’ve set up gated areas inside to provide quiet or separate spaces if a dog needs downtime. I have two friendly dogs who enjoy the company of other pups, and my two children are gentle and respectful with animals—they love helping give our furry guests lots of attention and affection. I always take time to get to know each dog’s personality and needs to make sure they feel safe, loved, and at home. About: I had owned a dog for over 10 years and I current have a rabbit for the past 5 years. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve helped walk, watch, and care for a variety of friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs, cats, lizards, small mammals, and horses. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to provide patient, reliable, and loving care for each one. I’m currently a full-time remote student and also work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Because my work is largely independent, I’m able to accommodate dog walks and drop-in visits throughout the day for pets in my local area. I genuinely enjoy getting outside for a break from my desk, so spending time with pets is a welcome part of my day. My flexible schedule also allows me to provide reliable care when you need it most. I’m very diligent when it comes to caring for pets. For my own rabbit, I even created a detailed care binder with feeding instructions, litter box cleaning schedules, and daily care routines so that anyone watching her knows exactly what she needs. I bring that same level of dedication and attention to every pet I care for. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own by following care instructions closely, maintaining their routine, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
